Great value, rooms were much better than I expected. During the week the hotel is used by construction workers who park their large trucks in front of the bedrooms. They start up the noisy engines around 5.45 and don't leave for another 15 to 20 minutes! Don't expect a lie-in

Cozy interior. Clean bathroom. Well-equipped room. Front desk lady (manager?) unmotivated. She answered a call in the middle of a conversation with me and didn't put them on hold or blink an eye.

It was very clean, and the personnel was very attentive. The free juice, cakes and coffee in the room made for great breakfast. It is kind of far for Stanford, but I guess that's related to the lower price.

The location was close to the Stanford Medical Center were a family member had surgery. Very conveniant. Room was very comfortable and clean. Although the shower head lacked water pressure but understandable due to water conservation in California. I would stay there again if there is a need to go back to the area. I was charged for my stay on one card before I had arrived and wanted to use a different form of payment when I got there. I am still waiting for the credit to show up in my bank account. That was 3 weeks ago. One staff member should not be so friendly with joke telling. I did book my stay for 6 nites, however, the motel only booked it for 5 nites. Luckily, I didn't need to stay that 6th nite. Other than those things it was a nice stay.

The area that the hotel is in was very nice and safe. Many people told us Palo Alto was problamatic with crime....we did not have any thing but a positive trip! The manager is helpful,accomodating and kind. The cost of this room was very affordable and worth the peace of mind of offering safety,comfort,and cleanliness. We had traveled from sacramento to east palo alto to see some friends play at an awesome venue( Reggae,Roots, world music) knowen as House of bigger woman.This is in a very nice,safe and quiet neighberhood, as well.The hotel is a very easy and quick drive from east palo alto it took us less than 15 minutes! I have contacted the venue so that Ms. Maralyn could recommend her guest to a wonderful and affordable hotel that we working families and students can afford! Thank you and we will be back! Oh yes! There is a wonderful old diner walking distance from sky ranch knowen as Hobees-yummy and reasonably priced! Half Moon Bay very close and easy drive...we highly recomend the Sky Ranch Inn! When in the East Bay area.

Room nicely remodeled and very clean. King size bed seemed huge with four comfortable pillows. No odor or bugs as claimed by a previous visitor. This was a No Smoking room but underside of bed spread had two burn holes. No big deal as room did not have the disgusting smell of cigarettes. Motel had all amenities such as plenty of towels, soaps, shampoo, coffee in room, microwave and refrigerator. Did not use WiFi. Could not find a tv news station. Tv had poor sound and picture quality but not a problem as I rarely have time to watch tv when visiting out of town.

Don, the hotel manager, has been extremely nice. The room was clean and comfortable, the facilities accessible. There is a bus stop right across the street, and taxis are familiar with the location. This is a minor gripe, but some people might care: the "continental breakfast" is just a couple of orange juice bottles, coffee and tea packets, and a chemical laden "supermarket pastry" that are waiting on a tray in your room.

Cleanness, location, bed, and good shower. As others mention, the breakfast was almost nothing. You just have to eat 2 preserved bread in your room, if you want. Good news is, you have two orange juice each day....
