Laura in the spa was amazing! I had a seasonal scrub w/ cranberries etc, but I'm sure any service she provides will be outstanding. All the staff was wonderful, grounds are beautiful and John Ash room service was delicious!
Located in the heart of wine country, the Quality Inn & Suites hotel provides easy access to many of the area's wine-making destinations, including Matanzas Creek Winery and St.
Breakfast was okay, you might consider varying ways of cooking the egg.

We stayed at Hotel E (the renovated historic courthouse) right in the heart of Santa Rosa. Lots of activities within walking distance of a close drive (1/2 hour or less). The hotel was a delightful place to stay. For those not interested in wine tasting, some suggested activities that we did all in 2 1/2 days, 1) Safari West 2) Armstrong Redwood Preserve 3) Occidental (lunch at the Altamont General Store 4) Walk through downtown Sebastopol 5) Visit to the Charles Schultz Museum 6) Lunch (or any meal) at Mo'z right off Court House Square in Santa Rosa 7) Dinner at Ca Bianca 8) A walk around the lake at Spring Lake Regional Park.

Santa Rosa has been called many flattering things all of them well deserved. You get enough sunshine, enough cool coastal air. And there is a lot to do. Definitely if you’re doing an extended stay a value selves of Olivers market, Pacific market, and even Safeway to save money on food. The best restaurants in Sonoma county are the restaurants based around California Cuisine and local ingredients and those can either get pricey, or have odd opening hours.
As far as Safari West is concerned, they are a breeding facility and should be avoided. No true sanctuary breeds big cats or other exotic animals animals in captivity. They’ve also had tragedies there with breeding which is to be expected because exotic animals don’t breed well in captivity as a general rule. There are plenty of exotic animals that need homes breeding. That makes absolutely no sense. So please boycott Safari West.
You’re close to the ocean, you’re close to the forest and so much more. Don’t miss an opportunity to travel to this very beautiful city

Well restored old town area, convenient and hassle-free airport, good golf courses, lots of historical attractions (Luther Burbank home and gardens and Charles Shulz museum and ice rink are must sees), lots of shopping at all price levels, lots of restaurant options, and Sonoma State University and Santa Rosa JC are near by.

Dinner at the Bird and the Bottle in Santa Rosa was very good. Looks like they have several good restaurants, we will probably be back. It's a reasonable distance from the South Bay but you feel like you've gotten away. Last time we went to the Luther Burbank gardens which was very pretty and informative.

As I stated, the staff was pleasant and efficient and the property was kept a high quality of cleanliness! My only complaint is the lack of and or availability of a coffee maker for our room which is a bit of a dealbreaker yet in the scheme of things is alright! Thank you for asking for our opinion!

We live here in Santa Rosa so some of these questions above aren't relevant to us. Santa Rosa is well located to visit Sonoma wine country, the beautiful West County and coastal Bodega Bay. Easy drives to Sonoma, Healdsberg, Sebastopol, Petaluma, all beautiful towns.
Hotel is in a safe area. Convenient parking with meters, free on Sunday. Lisa at the front desk was was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. All other staff was helpful as well. She is a treasure! Included were a coffee maker, frig. and safe. The continental breakfast was included. There were no hidden extra room charges. The room was great, bathroom wonderful and A/C was quiet. The "La Rosa," restaurant just next door was very good. We plan to stay again in 3 weeks.
The pool area was lovely although there really wasn't poolside service unless specifically ordered. The bed was really comfortable, and the room was a bit spartan, but quite pleasant. And although the hotel is a little bit out of downtown, there are decent restaurants and grocery stores etc. nearby. This hotel was recommended by travellers we had met earlier in our trip, who go there regularly. It was as it had been described, sort of resorty and fun.
Hotel newly renovated, matched the photos. Clean, modern decor, and comfortable beds/pillows. Great value for the area. Conveniently located next door to a lunch and breakfast restaurant. It's more of a boutique motel rather than a hotel because of the building layout with the parking just outside the room. A breakfast is included with your stay but we weren't able to take advantage of it and can't speak to how it was.
Beautiful hotel with options of new modern rooms across the street from the historic building, or rooms in the historic building that have a nostalgic feel. While there is no breakfast included with the stay, the restaurant in the hotel serves amazing breakfast for purchase. I do recommend that you make a reservation for breakfast (if they accept them) as it is a popular local spot for breakfast.
Easy to get to, room was clean and comfortable, good breakfast. The room was very quiet, didn't hear noise from neighboring rooms or the floor above. As in most hotels, you do hear the inconsiderate guests who bellow down the halls, apparently forgetting, or not caring, where they are or who hears their conversations. Kudos to the management who were quick to stifle the annoying culprits.
our family of four arrived there three hours past the check in time and we were told our room wasn’t ready.
We waited in the lobby for a little bit and then was told To come back in a few hours.
By 8 o’clock in the evening our room is finally ready but only half complete. this was quite possibly the worst stay ever at a hotel and only half of the sheets were provided with no covers.
The pool - the bar - the main waiting/lounge area - the outdoor fire pit.
It was all great! Nice to be out after so many months of staying at home.
Hotel is centrally located - about 800m to downtown Santa Rosa, restaurants, coffee shops, bookstores.
Everyone was disciplined about indoor mask wearing.
Lisa was friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating. She made our check in experience seamless and effortless. She set the tone for the rest of our stay and we found the service to be exemplary. The hotel is modern, well appointed and comfortable. Plus the location is great!
Nothing this is a crack house not a hotel did not even stay checked in and my room smelled so horrible like a drug had been smoked in it we asked to switch rooms second one was just as bad we asked for money back and left they did not refund me stay far far away
room size was great. Room was clean. Bathroom was clean. Staff at the front counter was very nice, engaging. Like the location, easy to find, close to Costco, fairly close to the hospital which was easy to get to from the motel.
It was absolutely quiet and we were able to get some rest. The room was clean but the lingering smell of pine-sol (cleaning agent) was very strong, we had to air out our room.
