I really liked the front desk staff - both people I spoke to were very friendly and courteous. I also liked the location.

The breakfast choices were very limited - very good quality pastries - just limited choices.

Right next to the freeway, so noisy on that side of the hotel. Minimalistic breakfast, to be polite.

Everything was pretty much as advertised. I stayed there a week without any problems.

This didn't really bother me so much but the hotel is right next to the freeway and there is no sound wall so for people who are sensitive to traffic noise you might want to look somewhere else.

Clean, well equipped room. Friendly, efficient staff.

Horrible Breakfast

Our room was clean and comfortable, the coffee was hot and fresh, internet was free and with a strong signal. The staff was friendly and interested in our comfort. Despite being close to an interstate, the room was quiet. We had a refrigerator and microwave that were absolutely spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, the carpet was clean and new-looking, and we were completely satisfied with our 4-day stay.

Hmmm - no complaints at all.

Front desk person was very nice. CHEAP AND AFFORDABLE Near many delicious food If you can ignore the car on the highway then you're fine. Nice TV

Not enough tissues :( Bed was not as comfortable as i would like it.

I thought this hotel is one of other motel issu hotel but once you get inside, room was really clean and all stuff was really new stuff like bathroom was super clean and new marble top counter. All room lights are sensered so it turned out automatically. It was great with this price.

If I say one negative thing is that hotel is right next to freeway so if you are sensitive with sounds, you might not like this hotel. Althought it didnt bother me at all.

Not a best place to come to if one does not have a car. Hard to find if any information how to come to a hotel using a public transport.

We liked everything about our stay @ America's Best Value Inn Sunnyvale. First of all, i don't understand guests complaining about highway noise. Off course there is noise, the place is next to the 101.... A little research tells you that before you book... But anyway, everything OK here. Beds, shower, parking, location for visiting SF bay area. Nice staff. Recommended.

Considering it is tagged a motel, I was pleasantly surprised with the condition of the room. It has obviously been updated recently and everything was very clean. I was particularly impressed with the bathroom. The lady at the front desk was helpful.

However, the reception could do with some uplift and it has a lingering smell (and btw, that smell is not curry like other reviewers have mentioned). Breakfast is virtually non-existent; but is along the lines that is expected of a motel. Parking is a bit tight. The location is not great; but not terrible either. I only stayed here a night because other hotels in the area were full. I can get much better quality in terms of facilities/gym/front desk/breakfast at other inns in mountain view for the same price or $10-$15 more. So I wouldn't tag this good value for money. They should either reduce the price a bit or improve their facilities to match the standard of their rooms and market themselves as a hotel/inn at the same price. At the very least; they need to get rid of the smell in the reception area - creates a bad (and stereotyped) first impression. For travelers this is my advice: If you have no other choice or find other alternatives to be expensive, don't be put off by the motel tag or the front desk. If your biggest concern is having a clean room/bathroom; this will definitely hit the mark. The rest of the facilities is at par with a typical motel.

It was amazingly clean. Saw where some folks complained of the freeway noise, we didn't hear anything. We have already recommended it to several others as well

The room was clean with all necessary amenities. The strict no smoking in the non smoking rooms policy is fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful. The price was very reasonable. The raised bed was easy to get in and out of. Air system worked great.

The mattress was a little hard, and the pillows were flat like pancakes. Other than that, it was a nice room.

Good place, new room, very clean, tons of space, perfect shower. Other mentioned that the sound from the freeway is horrible but it totally wasn't.

Very convent to 101 and 237 and El Camino Real. Lots of traffic from Maude Ave. But the room was very well insulated and we could barely hear it. It was nice to have a little bite of breakfast before heading out. Orange juice was very good.

Missed not having coffee in the room but they did have it in the office. It would have been nice to have fresh fruit for breakfast rather than a Danish, but at least they had something to eat.

The staff there are 5 Star.

The only and I mean the single thing that is negative is that it is literally right next to the freeway with no barrier between except for a simple cyclone fence. All through California there are brick walls that buffer out some of the road noise but not at this location. It is unfortunate and I think has a negative impact. I am very tolerant of things like this but if my wife were with me we would have left after the first night.
