Nice breakfast area
Bed was uncomfortable
Old fashioned motel with poor breakfast and very noisy rooms.
It's new & rooms are large! Nicely supplied with toiletries. Breakfast food was out early, as we left at 0445 am...!!!!
The place was filthy. My wife had to make her own bed and our friends in the next room. They had no manpower to do this but there were three maids outside our room door. I thinkyou should take this hotel off of Booking.com list
About 45 Min drive to Yosemite Near local shopping and restaurants
* Not very clean at all * Old * Security was a joke * Able to hear tenants above and in the hallway * Carpet was filthy, huge stains.
The friendly staff. The location to yosemite national park.
The carpets were dirty. The beds were extremely hard and had springs pushing through. No elevator and we were on the second floor. The a.c. in our first room on the first night didn't work. We were moved to a different room the next day.
Great location near everything. Yosemite just a short driving distance away.
Guy who checked us in was very helpfull!
Staff the next morning (during breakfast) did not perform anything that could be called 'service'
The fresh air outside
It was close to the Elderberry House
Carpet was so dirty, it leaves black marks to our feet and socks
Jacuzzi in room Very large room (king bed) Non Smoking Fairly clean room Easy parking Easy to find / Easy off Close to highway but it's amazingly quiet. Ask for a room in the back Breakfast was 'ok' Cereal / 2 kinds of milk / several juices (not great) / Good room rate 89 Wifi speed 2mb - 8mb sec
No elevator Not the 'best' clientèle Yet it's safe.. just a lot of working people Really it's not bad
Just about everything.
1.We stepped into the shower after walking on the carpet in bare feet to realise how dirty the carpet must be from the dirt that came off the bottom of our feet. 2. Some of the light globes had failed and needed replacing. 3. The bottom of the entry door needs machining to avoid destroying the carpet in that area. Just small items really, no serious criticism.
First of all, the location was excellent - just of Highway 41 and close to Yosemite National Park. Rooms was reasonably clean and comfortable and (after baby next door had stopped screaming) we had a good night's sleep. Oakhurst is a bit like the modern-day Wild West and it is spread over some distance (as we found out when walking to a restaurant). It has a unique charm though
Breakfast was basic and on paper plates. Breakfast room could have done with a clean
Booked in for 2 nights, stayed for 4. Nice hotel, on the edge of a small town. Most things within walking distance. Especially the South Gate Brewery. Top class beer and excellent food.
Breakfast is a bit basic, but it is advertised as continental, so we got what we paid for.
The price was great. It was close to Yosemite Park, the facility was wonderful and quiet. We liked the connection between the rooms and that breakfast was included. At the recommendation of the desk clerk we went to the BBQ restaurant down the street and the food was good and with big portions.
We didn't like that we had to ask for knives; that the water for tea was warm and that we had to ask for hot water. There should be an attendant there during the breakfast hours. At the BBQ restaurant they didn't sell alcohol, coffee or tea. They sell only sodas.
Nothing to complain about, verry helpful evening/night staff.
nothing that we saw
everything we saw
The location of the hotel is great. Oakhurst is a beautiful little town and it is a relatively short drive from Yosemite National Park.
The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. The building is not well maintained. There was a 'musty order'.
Location was close to town, stores, movie theater.
Service was poor, hotel was in disrepair, although there was an effort to put an appearance of repair but with very cheap material. Personnel were poorly dressed with logo t-shirts and caps. Burnt light bulbs in room, poorly installed bath tub that squeaked and crackled. Will not stay there again!
The location was quite good - it was close to the entrance to Yosemite National Park. The staff was friendly and gave us a free map, however they were not very well informed.
The room was decent but could have been cleaner. The breakfast was very very poor. There was hardly something except frosties.
THIN PILLOWS CARPETS WERE DIRTY -STAINS ALL OVER POOR MAINTENANCE OF THE ROOMS
We liked its proximity to Yosemite and its quiet location. The continental breakfast was well supplied and tasty.
The sheets were thin and wrinkled making it look like someone else just crawled out of the bed. There was no mattress protector so this thin sheet was right on the mattress which doesn't feel good at all! It had a small kitchen but no fridge and all the cupboards were bare - not a dish or fork in sight. The carpeting in the halls were dirty.
The matresses on the beds are very hard and uncomfortable. The bedding had stains on them. The quality of the breakfast was not impressive or great tasting.
Not quite in town but close enough. Room was clean and a fair size. There was an outdoor pool etc but we didn't make used of it.
Breakfast was OK but a little basic compared to some others.
