Centrally located on Long Island, easy to reach, motel style rooms remarkably quiet

Poor room lighting, no heating in bathroom, short breakfast hours, sparse breakfast, no seating

You should consider removing them from your inventory unless it is typical. The non smoking room was clearly not in spite of repeated claims. I am a medical doctor and will not recommend your services and in fact campaign against them. No towels in room. Bed was large but clearly old and well used. Poor value for $100 even though they gave 10% off for dissatisfied customer. This would be a great offer for $25 night or $10 / hour.

smoker rooms pretty dirty (esp. below the bed, also the linen were not clean at all) very loud (because of main road in front of the motel)

America's Best Value looks worse than a Motel 6 in the 60's. The rooms are clean, however the furniture is old and the TV is so old that we couldn't even hear clearly, the volume was to the max!! Coffee and "1" Donut in the morning. Second day the donuts were from the day before. Beds were good and clean. Bathrooms need refurbishing or complete remodeling. Towels are "onion skin" thin and small. Lack of lighting and the heater knobs in the bathroom have been removed to save on electricity. This was the most expensive hotel on our trip from Florida to Long Island. No comparison in value or comfort with other hotels along the way that were beautiful, comfortable, new flat screen tv's, spotless bathrooms, indoor pools, complementary breakfast, and much less expensive! America's Value is in Long Island, but 15/20 miles down the road are great hotels that we would have chosen. It's not in Booking.com best interest to list this "rundown ugly motel" as a choice for travelers.

Booked a non-smoking king room and was given a smoking double room. Later changed after protest

The cost was very affordable given the area.

Clean, comfortable and quite the value for your money compared to other hotels on Long Island Sound
