Americas Best Value Inn Stage Coach Lodge    

The room was a good size and well equipped although the safe had been locked by previous occupants and we couldn't access it. Breakfast of cereals and toast enough for our needs. Food delivery service very useful for dinner. Good parking facilities. The staff were all very friendly and we felt comfortable during our stay.

We couldn't walk to the beach or harbour - it was only a few minutes drive but from the description we expected to be able to walk. We were on the second floor but there were no lifts so we had to struggle with luggage.

The staff was very helpful is recommending places to eat. The continental breakfast was very simple, but adequate. The rooms (2) appeared to be newly remodeled with new carpet. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The pay laundry facilities (washer & dryer) were, also, clean.

Renovation w granite, good price: budget friendly for area

Woman clerk really rude and unfriendly when called for confirmation. Not open for coffee or breakfast, if you stay there: you are on your own. Why not camp out.

It was inexpensive and relatively clean, and close to the race track.

The towels were falling apart, the bed felt like I was sleeping on a box spring and not a matress.

The hotel was just what we were looking for. The price was budget friendly. Our room was spotless. The bed was very comfortable. Internet access was free (and actually worked!). The hotel reception staff was friendly. Location was excellent, with easy access from the highway, and minutes away from the wharf.

The breakfast is very basic, but we didn't mind.

A really nice motel just 15 minutes walk away from the wharf area. Clean, comfortable and with friendly owners.

It was very nice property. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable.

The breakfast room has only two tables and it is crowded.

Easy to find

The maid was still cleaningat4:30, the carpet was damp in spots , the pool was closed,the fire place almost exploded when I had to light it with a match,the coffee maker was broken,then there was a dirty used Q-tip in the ice bucket tray.When I mentioned it to the cashier she said it was because they were all tiredand they had been booked for 3 weeks straight

Very comfortable room

Had difficulty in finding the hotel. The booking spelt the street as "tenth" while the gps only recognised the word "10th". This caused grief. The booking should contain the correct gps word.

Near the beach

No restaurant connected with or close by.

Staff, is family run and they were very friendly. Location it is right off Highway 1, but close to the center of Monterey. Good value.

the laundry facilities were so convenient, it is nestled in a little neighborhood u would never have thought it would be back there

T.I. seems the manager made up the rules a he went along, he didnt honor my booking.com reservation. when time for check out, i was in a meeting so I had a friend pack my stuff, he wouldnt give her my cash deposit back and I get that, but whe i got there he tried to say she left the room in a huge mess, claimed she clogged the toliet and the list was endless... I will never stay here again...

Cost, bathroom decor, quiet surroundings

Couldn't get extra blanket after maids left for day; refrig n microwave but no utensils/can-bottle opener etc in rooms

Bed was confortable

Room had a strong oder of bleach. Continental breakest not served until 8:00 this should at least be 7:00 for the early travler

Comfort and fireplace, very clean though older, location, light breakfast was good for the family. Liked the mini suite atmosphere.
