Free upgrade, clean, laundry room and friendly staff.
Location- very loud trains all night long...
tooooo close to the train tracks and trains running all night
train close by, but you hardly notice it after a while
Desk staff were friendly & professional. Security of property was more that adequate and staff responded to parking lot incident appropriately. They up-graded my room to a suite because of my veteran status. *24 years USAF / Disabled Veteran
Drunken native american resident demanded money in parking lot. Anger & profanity when I denied this request. Came within inches of being pepper sprayed or worse....(I am a concealed carry permit holder). Be aware of your surroundings at all times! Protect yourself & loved ones!!!!!
Very large room-more like a suite. Efficient staff, restaurant next door. Great appliances/tv/wi-fi.
None -- a little dated, but so were we.
The beds are awesomely comfortable.
my child got sick the first night all over the bed and all the extras to replace the bedding was locked up. The next day we came back to stay again and got the same room and the comforter was still dirty and put back on the bed.
Staff was very helpful, breakfast was nice. Room was clean and beds were comfortable.
Our suite was under-lit with no lights on the bed/sleeping side of the suite.
Nothing fancy, but we had a great room with all the amenities including a full kitchen. A bit off the interstate, but not a big deal.
Train traffic is a minor annoyance and unfortunately we had a noisy group next door.
We were there for a night so it was perfect for what we need
I was able to park my motorcycle right outside the room and enter from the outside.
I could hear the train several times through the night. No big deal, but could be a problem for a light sleeper.
Everything perfect for as top curinga a travel
The train noite
Hassle free experience from beginning to end.
Price, location to town. Adequate hot water.
Too close to the train tracks, very loud horns all night long. Lack of adequate lights in room. Rough linens.
The accommodating staff gave me a free upgrade to a comfortable and safe inside larger suite.
The key did not work for the first room. Did not feel safe while traveling alone and trying to get it to work. Standing outside at night in dim light unable to access the room.
We were given upgrade to suite which was great. Two tvs, fabulous bed, spaciousness of accommodations.
Location is towards the industrial end of town, but noise was not an issue, not even from railroad which is close. Pillows were foam rubber, which I don't like, which is why I travel with my own pillow.
This was a good value. Place was clean and looked pretty good despite being an older place.
Didn't see an elevator but they did have a lot of ground floor units. Not very much seating for the free breakfast but great staff.
Room was clean and comfortable.
The blankets were way too thin, especially for a wintertime stay!
dirty, noisy, lukewarm water in bath, unkempt, surly person at desk, 25% surcharge for pet
We really were impressed with the size and amenities of the suite. It was a great value for the price paid. We would stay there again and will probably do so next year when we come through again.
Probably just the freight trains which travel through town at all hours of the day and night, but that is just part and parcel of staying in Gallup.
Mother was cold, she would have liked a comforter on the bed. We had one in the car but didn't realize her need till morning.
I liked the room we had which was good. I did like the house keeping cleaned the room well everyday we came back.
The train was hard to fall asleep to. Other than that it was a nice place wish they served more at breakfast like the Baymont Inn in Albuquerque NM.
The staff was very courteous, helpful and kind. The 2 room suite was very spacious and just what we needed for many ppl doing homework.
This is not a 3 star. Its maybe a 2. We were just passing theu for one night & just needed something affordable and safe. It was very apparent which "side" of town we were on. The staff do the very best they can with what they have to work with. The hotel is old, furniture is old w stains/smells. There is a loud train but we knew what we were getting into when we pulled through the neighborhood & reading other reviews. Around 5:00am train seemed to blow the horn every 30 minutes. It seemed to be a popular stop for truckers.
