Love the beach...love the room with the view of the beach...The Clam Digger restaurant has a good breakfast.....but I wouldn't eat there for dinner ..It was so awful.... shrimp was chewing and rubbery..fries where nasty and cold ..either find another dinner or who ever made breakfast put him or her on dinner shift cook....lol

If you are looking for a family beach, this is the perfect beach. We have been going to there for 31 years. Small island but a very large and wide beach. Tons of room for children to run on the beach and you can see them for miles because it’s not crowded. Easy get away from our area, less than 2 hours. Beautiful beaches, good fishing, shelling and relaxing. Clean, comfortable rooms with balconies and ocean view. Pool, hot tub and beach right outside back door. Restaurant on site. The location is superb. Right on the beach. All rooms oceanfront with balconies. Rooms are small but adequate. Bathrooms very small with very short toilets. Hard for elderly to navigate. There were issues with no hot water. We really enjoy having a restaurant and lounge on site. Always clean.

There was no signage out front anywhere and the hotel was behind a lot of trees/bushes. Within walking distance to the beach and close to public beach access. Pool was decent and towels are provided to use. Continental breakfast was supposed to be included but because of COVID they only provided a box with a bagel, cream cheese and nutrigrain bar. Better than nothing though I guess. Close to many restaurants, the aquarium and a park and splash pad for the kids.

There is a public beach access directly across the street. The staff was very nice, always saying Hello when you entered the hotel. The room was spacious. There was a sink, small coffee maker (with their designated type of coffee pods), a microwave, and a small refrigerator. The hotel itself was modern and clean. The Lowe's Food Store was about 5 miles away over the bridge.
