We liked the modern design, comfortable bed and the location. The space in the room was a bit tight for two people to move around.

I loved the funky design of the rooms, the feeling of quality in everything from the staff to the towels; comfortable bed; loved the rainshower shower head! The location is central for may Boston activities. Breakfast was excellent and beautifully prepared. Staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant without being saccharine. I would definitely stay here again if I can get a reasonable price when I'm looking to book. The lighting was a bit too dark, especially in he bathroom. It would be nice to have the option to turn on more lights. My husband wished there was a door on the shower rather than an open space. Water leaked out onto the bathroom floor and got the bath mat all wet.

The blending of modern decor with historic charm. The location is excellent for navigating the city. The staff (hotel & restaurant) were always friendly, helpful and presented themselves in a professional manner. We would stay at the Ames again and will recommend it to our family & friends in California.

Love the location and the design - it's a good deal overall. The bar is very popular for happy hour and meals are affordable (breakfast, lunch) That said we stayed for 4 nights and over the week-end rooms are cleaned in the end of the afternoon.... And very slightly (coffee was poured on the floor and not washed up. Pre booking service in direct is poor - never received any feedback to my email

Exprensive at the Woodward, but great food. The steak was one of the best steaks I had. The room was clean, modern, and simple in design. Space and organization was used wisley in the layout. The location is great. Its close to Quincy Market, close to the Aquarium, close to the park, Paramount cafe was a 10 min walk. And Washington St. Is close where there are plenty of store such as h&m, Macy's, TJMaxx, Marshalls, City Sports, dsw. The list goes one. The 15th Fl has great view of the Fireworks for New Year'S. Service was good. Everything was expensive, but the $600 for 4 day's and 3 night's is not too bad. You do get what you pay for however.

This boutique hotel had a nice design and excellent service. The food was very good and the toiletries were high end - like shampoo, soap etc... It was creative, fun and different and the staff was very nice.

The staff was courteous and pleasant. The location was terrific. The only thing I would suggest is that a comfortable arm chair be placed in each room.

Everyone was very polite and helpful. The facilities were modern and comfortable. It was conveniently located near a t station and Fanieul Hall. The Woodward Restaurant was fabulous and we enjoyed our meals tremendously. Having a gourmet breakfast included in our room was a definite bonus. A major complaint was that the walls are very thin and we heard the people next door checking in very loudly and banging at 1:00am. It was also close to the t station which was noisy. But they offered ear plugs, which we never used.

Great location. Trendy but surprisingly comfortable; staff very friendly. Walls too thin could hear every word the next door person was speaking.

Everything about the Ames was understated quality and luxury. The room wasn't overly large, but very nice with great bathroom and bedding. The staff was friendly and professional. And the location in the heart of Boston couldn't have been better. We will want to go back.

The location was perfect for a trip to Boston. The Decor of the Hotel was fabulous. The Bed was very comfortable. When I booked the hotel my stay included breakfast. When I arrived at the hotel they had no record of that. (40.00 value)

Design That they charge 150$ as security deposit. I think 50$ is fine and also they should be able to take it only if there is something, meaning after the stay not at the check in.
