Good location, clean, design furnishing.

It was very difficult to find the hotel. No signs and unlogical street numbers. A lot of extra costs, wi-fi, extra taxes etc, no complimentary water or coffee.

The staff and location were fantastic.

The hotel and the rooms were very sterile and cold. No ambience. No warm comfort in the decor at all.

Everything is new and comfortable. Especially, water run off so fast in the shower and shampoo and conditioner and body lotion are amazing.

It would be good if there is a coffee machine or kettle in the room.

Restraunt had closed the weekend before. Plans to reopen in a couple months :( No coffee in room or hotel. We were given $10 discount because breakfast that was supposed to be included wasnt available. Not quite a good trade off. Wouldnt reccomend until restraunt situation is tesolved.

Hotel is in beautiful building. Very nice design with lots of detail. My room looked directly over the old state capitol > very cool and unique perspective of the historic landmark. Funny and very useful mini- bar articles.I Recommend a bite at the bar/restaurant!

Breakfast was mediocre, even though it was served in a sensational space. I found the doorman quite pushy and not too friendly.

Sleek hotel in a good location. Very friendly staff always ready to help.

Considering the events of the 2013 Boston Marathon, everyone at the hotel was extremely courteous and made us feel as if we were staying with family. Thanks to the entire staff for taking such great care of us! And the hotel is absolutely fantastic!

The Ames is an excellent hotel and the staff were wonderful. We were staying there at a particularly stressful time for the city and were very well looked after and made to feel comfortable throughout our time.

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are small but gorgeous. The shower especially was stunning. The breakfasts were fine, but a bit more variety would have been appreciated. The location was good for us.

My credit card statement reflects a charge of ZAR0.09 from the Ames hotel, which makes no sense whatsoever. On checking out, I confirmed that no amount was outstanding, however, on returning home I noticed this charge from the hotel.

I think for the cost of the accommodation the wifi should have been free of charge but charges seem to appear to a vast majority of the hotels!

Everything was wonderful, we arrived to find we did not have our tickets to our convention and the concierge made us his number 1 priority to try to get them. The lobby woman waited for our Thai food, paid for it for us, tipped the delivery man and had it sent up to our room while we picked up our tickets.

The hotel was clean and simple. This is a great hotel for a single business travel, who needs an immediate location in the business district. Moreover, the gym at the equinox is a luxury gym.

The website misrepresents itself as a luxury stay hotel. We were in Boston for our anniversary. Our room was zen modern to the point of feeling like a bed in an empty storage space. There were no blackout blinds. The bathroom, in 610, flooded with the shower. The acoustics with the room next store were immediate, so that for 2 of the 6 hours we were in the room we listened to a viagra couple going at it. I would think they would be giving the hotel five stars. We had a great time in Boston, but deliberately spent most of it elsewhere.

the decor was wonderful...the staff friendly and helpful. the restaurant/bar was A bit pricey, but it is boston!

the shower. although beautiful and unique, was dangerous. the floor was slippery and did not have A non-skid mat or floor. A handle for maintaining balance would be appreciated.

The decor was very nice and modern - I felt very at home.

The mattress was rather hard... But truly that's my only complaint.

Nothing - loved every minute of our stay

The rooms were very clean. The staff were very accomodating and friendly. We really appreciated the opening of the doors for us when entering the hotel and for the catching us a cab!!

On the Sunday (January 27, 2013) at approximately 10:00 A.M. there was a lack of hot water...only luke warm. The rooms are lovely but the lobby/foyer seems a bit dingy and poorly decorated. The orange plexilgass "has to go"!!!!!! The breakfast was just ok. We arrived around 10:30 several items were not available (eggs, yogurt). We opted to go out for breakfast on the Sunday instead.

The complimentary breakfast. Pastries and muffins were bland and cold.
