Shareing room should write more clearly. The persons in the one room may be female or male. When I knew there were the male in the room I booked,I felt it is so horrible!!
i really hope they can keep kitchen open at night
In the downtown, right beside Union Square. Convenient transportation. Nice staff. They provide service for shuttle to airport. Good wifi.
Not as clean as i thought. Have to buy a lock in other shop.
The dirty floors, broken curtains in front of patio door leading to smokers area from bedroom, complete with vent to allow second hand smoke into room. Lack of any noise proofing of walls.
wifi was very slow, beds do not seem very stable. Staff not helpful at all. Only responded "you'll have to google it" when I asked how to get to the airport at 3am
Relatively cheap and secure. Pretty good crowd.
Pretty dodgy area. Staff unhelpful and frankly rude. Lots of plumbing issues as the toilet was always backed up. Free wifi was slow and unresponsive and it was really really dirty.
no parking lot poor breakfast (just pancakes) old furniture no elevator
Very friendly and helpful staff. Good services, e.g. excellent wifi, plenty of sockets, tv room, kitchen etc.
it could do with a refurb, e.g. there was a whole in the ceiling and there were some gaffa-taped patches on the carpet but these has little effect on me apart from aesthetically.
The location is good
It was a little dirty and cold at night
Location was great! Close to union square.
The dorm was terribly smelly and dirty. I felt itchy while sleeping. That could be bugs or something. And the private room was quite small too. Had to made your own breakfast and cleaned the stuff. And the kitchen was toooooo small to fill in so many ppl. Like I said in the title, well ... at least a kind of experience.
Pancake batter available to fry yourself - great idea Lots of common areas Board games! Walking distance (+/-15min) from main attractions Grocery, liquor, and food nearby (<5min) Luggage storage area Free linens and towel
Pancake breakfast ends a lot earlier than specified (batter usually runs out)
Didn't have to share the bathroom. We had a private room. Loved that. And we had a fridge and microwave. Made having snacks easy. There was a city black out our last morning. That made it hard to pack as the room is kinda dark and only has one window. Other than that our experience was great and we will be back!!! Thank you
More lighting. It's kinda dark. And it was extremely crowded on the doorstep. Made it a little difficult to bring our baggage in and out.
- Wifi sing is good.
- The room is not so clean; - The breakfast is just a doll to make pancakes, there is no other option;
Dirty, bad neighborhood & smelled like weed the entire time
Bed is good, kitchen is good too. Location is very good, few blocks you have everything.
- location - nice staff
- kitchen could be cleaner - rooms were not in the best condition
Location Kindness of the staff
Room's atmosphere : old fashion and not very clean
Building in need of repair. The stair treads had tape (which was peeling off). The shower wasn't; it was a running faucet with nothing to allow the water to come from above. The pancake batter was watery and tasteless
Well, first of all the location is really good, and the wifi is good enough to feel comfortable. Also I like the idea of "private" bathrooms in dorms.
Beds are just awful: old and not only uncomfortable, but simply dangerous. Also looks like no one noticed my request regarding bed stairs problem: I'm lame and have certain troubles with stairs. So if you're brave enough to sleep on unsafe bed with drooping mattress and have no disabilities, it's ok to stay there.
Location was good, value for money and helpful staff enjoyed the breakfast.
Too crowded in a dorm. No lifts noisy no aircon in the rooms. Old funiture
The location was very good and the staff was very nice.. they provide pancake stuff for breakfast.
My tv was not working, that was a real bummer.. it would have made a big difference to my stay there..
No breakfast Old fashioned rooms Very loud
To much noise.
I stayed in a private room and it was nice for a cheap San Francisco room. No air conditioning, but that was ok because I just opened the window and the nights were cool. Sometimes the outside noise made it tough to fall asleep, but the rooms were clean and the bed was great. They have a nice common area in the basement with a big screen TV, couches, and comfortable sofa chairs.
The "free breakfast" was a bucket of pancake mix and coffee. It wasn't bad having to cook pancakes on an iron skillet and then having to wash dishes after eating--but it was a bit disappointing at first. The WiFi was super unreliable and often didn't work.
Price, location , good bed in the 4 person dorm room and bathroom attached to the room.
