Noise from room overhead
It's close to Disneyland, which is why we were there. Also, located near a couple good restaurants. Upon checking out, they were willing to hold our luggage all day until we left for the airport. Very accommodating.
Was almost sucked in to a "time-share" like program by a person set up in the lobby. At first, it seemed they were working for the Annabella directly. The woman approached us with a map of the area and was offering Disney dollars.....however, it turned out they were an independent company, trying to sell "rooms" for local hotels. Very deceptive. Had an issue this time with the sewer backing up into the tub while showering. Went to the lobby and told the desk clerk, who was going to send someone up. Because we were on a time constraint, I asked for another room and was given an upgrade.
Just across the street from California Adventure (you can see the top of California Screamin' and Mickey's Fun Wheel from the hotel) and a short walk to the front gates. The bed was comfortable, the shower worked great, and the room was clean - my top three criteria for a hotel stay. I have stayed at several of the hotels within walking distance of the park, and would definitely rate this one towards the top of the list as an affordable, yet comfortable place to stay.
Not the biggest issue, but I would think the cleaning staff would knock before coming into the room, especially since it was still relatively early (9:15am). I had just come out of the shower and was standing front and center in the room when the front door opened and in came the housekeeping lady. The image that keeps playing in my mind is the scene from Seinfeld where George laments: "I was in the pool! I was in the pool!"
Nice place - clean - safe - convenient .. Comfortable
Wifi is not free for your entire stay .. Most hotels offer free wifi .. The other pitfall is having to pay 14 bucks or so for parking daily .. Most hotels parking is free - it's crazy to pay almost 60 bux to park - tht was half of my Disneyland ticket
staff was very friendly location was good walking distance
rooms were very small not enough parking TV was primitive
Parking was awful
Small personal Hotel very close to Disneyland & California Adventure . Staff were excellent , very friendly and extremely helpful . We only had one meal in the Hotel, and that was extremely good . Family pool was reasonable.
The Adult pool , was to noisy to relax by, due to the noise of cars from the main road . The pool loungers by the family pool , could do with updating .
Location to convention center and things to do in the area. Restaurants and shopping
No microwave in room. Coffe maker is terrible.
The location is excellent since we were there for a Disney marathon, we could walk to the park, and walk to the stay and finish lines. We stayed in a kids suite which was excellent for our family. It had a room just for the kids and a room just for my mom and the room for my husband and I.
For some reason the water never got very warm. It would get too got for a few seconds than go back to lukewarm again. Which was not fun after my race.
Short walking distance to Disneyland (especially if you cut through the Disneyland California hotel). Tangerine juice amazing! The food is delicious too but room service stops early, luckily annabella provides a list of restaurants that deliver to the hotel!
The location of the hotel
The rooms were extremely small. Different than what I saw on the picture. Night staff was not helpful at all. Only the day staff was nice. Baby bed was dirty. We ended up having our don sleep with us. Roll away bed barely fit into the room. We were never told there was going to be a charge for cribs and roll away beds.
Staff, the pool, the room and the location to disneyland were all top notch.
Spacious rooms, location is perfect.
The stairs in the pool were dangerously slippery and I fell in the pool. Our bed was a rather old and saggy and it's a bit mean to try charge for drinking water.
Great location & rooms. Friendly staff and great facilities at the hotel.
Location. Friendly staff happy hour menu....
Parking very limited
good location for Disneyland
We were on ground floor and it was very noisy The in room air conditioning unit was extremely noisy
The bed was comfortable
The bathroom did not have a fan so we had to open the window and it was right next to a noisy warehouse with trucks and forklifts. It was much smaller than it appeared. Y The air conditioner was small and could not accommodate the additional small room.
Arrived early and was met with a friendly face. Staff did a great job. Close to Downtown Disney, for diversion, and the convention center, for business. Reservation was easy too
The cricket in the bathroom (although we did become friends) and slow internet. The air conditioners are very loud, I mean the ones on other rooms, guess that can't be avoided, too bad.
Great people at the front desk and bar (when it was opened.)
Bar and restaurant were closed one night until 8 pm (Tuesday); the room was not always as clean as it should have been.
The value for money. The proximity to theme parks. Clean and comfortable rooms.
The cocktails and food were very ordinary. The room service was often later than expected.
Big comfortable beds, iron board and iron, extra towels and pillows food
Walls are paper thin. Doors are constantly slamming, doors are extremely squeaky and if you don't like being awaken by kids singing high ho, high ho at five in the morning stay at another hotel. This is strictly a family hotel NOT for seniors.
Location couldn't be better!! Restaurant was great too!
Rooms are dated and damaged. Air conditioning works rattles because it's old.
The pool was nice
The room was to small
They are very close to the California Adventure park. Easy walk through the Grand Californian. The beds were great. The customer service was wonderful.
It was a little pricey for the amenities. The parking is Horrid, could not get close to my room. The bathrooms and air conditioning are showing their age and need upgrading
