Comfy option right next to Disneyland
I appreciate it the staff and the boutique style hotel room. Next time I hope to take advantage of the restaurant :-)
I wasn't sure if the hotel has a shuttle to Disneyland or if I had to pay for a shuttle.
Location greatbfir Disney and Conference Centre
Poor gymnasium - machinery poorly maintained and not enough at busy times Bar prices well above local average
close to Disneyland
Too noisy outside room TV too small & couldn't watch any video's .
Proximity to Disneyland. Low nightly rate. Free wifi is a benefit.
On top of paying for the room, they charge 17 dollars per night to park you car. Room smelled moldy and carpet was coming up in multiple places.
The location is ideal for Disney and there are some great restaurants around the area. The gym was good, we didn't use the pool but looked clean. The staff are friendly and the hotel is nice and ideal for what we needed.
The wi-fi was hit and miss around the hotel. The walls are paper thin and you can hear the people next to you talking, their TV and even when they turn in bed. I think $16 per day for parking is expensive, especially when we were there for a week.
The restaurant was excellent and the Togo counter was convenient and reasonably priced
The knob to turn on the hot tub was broken. When we asked them to fix it, no one came.
The locación was good, close to Disney.
The room was cold and noisy. The staff made a lot of noise outside the room at a very early hour in the morning.
It was so close to Disneyland
paying too much to park your car, It should just be added to your original booking fee.
The bathroom seemed to be in poor shape.
Close to Disneyland
Noise from room upstairs (shoes on floorboards) & staff talking loudly outside room every morning at 8am
When we were checking out, we were asked the room number that we stayed in.. When we told the front desk receptionists that we were unsure of our room number since it was a short stay, one of the women behind the counter chuckled in an unprofessional rude type of way. Other then that, I've always enjoyed my stay at the Anabella.
The service was excellent along with the design/theme of the hotel.
The bed was squeaky and at time when turning the base of the mattress felt as if it was broken. When it was time to shower it took at least a couple of minutes before hot water started to run.
I loved how friendly the staff were and the location of the hotel to Disneyland. A would highly recommend this hotel
A little noisy
Fast check-in, room was surprisingly big, good wifi
Bed was uncomfortable. Bad connection hotel - restaurant. I had to walk to the restaurant to order room service. By the way Tangerine restaurant was great!
My husband and I brought our 10 month old baby to his first Disneyland trip and stayed here at the Annabella. We must've had an old room that was not renovated because it looked nothing like the pictures. When we arrived it was freezing and the windows were open. The heater was old and VERY loud. Everytime it would turn on, our baby would wake up! It was not a comfortable stay at all. Old room, old/loud heater, yuck! Never again.
Got there fri evening went to eat 4 yr old son need to use restroom and bathroom down stair by pool had a horrible pluming problem ...then our hotel room plumbing was so bad they needed a snake to fix.people that checked in same time we did Friday night seemed to check out by 8 pm same night. We had cold showers and more toliet issuse. We then asked management about plumbing and guest that had moved and he lied and said people room was occupied and guest did not leave. We watched them check in fri around 4 and room was empty 8 pm that same night. Said pluming was fine but watched worker go to 8/9 rooms with snake.
I loved that the room I stayed had a separate small bedroom with a bed and tv, and its walking distance from the park.
I was charged $17 for the next day parking and the lights in the bathroom when out and they never came to fix them
Location to park
Damaged and dated decor Poor sound proofing (get a room upstairs rather than down)
We loved the close walking distance to Disneyland. The grounds were cute. The room was spacious & cute. The staff was super helpful when we wanted to switch rooms after we checked in. I meant to book a room with a patio & they let us switch rooms.
The bathroom could use an update. The floors were not clean at all & that concerned us to the cleanliness of everything else in the room.
it was a full and a twin bed...no queen. The couch only opened to a twin...very uncomfortable!! They really need to get bigger beds for the price. There is no way a full size couple can sleep in the double bed, I had two teenagers with me so we did fit.
The hotel is easy walking distance to the convention center and Disneyland. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
I checked in, brought my stuff up the room and headed right over to Disneyland. After a long day at the park I crawled into the bed only to discover sheets which were worn and very dirty. I had to go down to the front desk as the room phone did not work and they gave me a new room. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything next door.
Noise from room overhead
It's close to Disneyland, which is why we were there. Also, located near a couple good restaurants. Upon checking out, they were willing to hold our luggage all day until we left for the airport. Very accommodating.
Was almost sucked in to a "time-share" like program by a person set up in the lobby. At first, it seemed they were working for the Annabella directly. The woman approached us with a map of the area and was offering Disney dollars.....however, it turned out they were an independent company, trying to sell "rooms" for local hotels. Very deceptive. Had an issue this time with the sewer backing up into the tub while showering. Went to the lobby and told the desk clerk, who was going to send someone up. Because we were on a time constraint, I asked for another room and was given an upgrade.
Just across the street from California Adventure (you can see the top of California Screamin' and Mickey's Fun Wheel from the hotel) and a short walk to the front gates. The bed was comfortable, the shower worked great, and the room was clean - my top three criteria for a hotel stay. I have stayed at several of the hotels within walking distance of the park, and would definitely rate this one towards the top of the list as an affordable, yet comfortable place to stay.
Not the biggest issue, but I would think the cleaning staff would knock before coming into the room, especially since it was still relatively early (9:15am). I had just come out of the shower and was standing front and center in the room when the front door opened and in came the housekeeping lady. The image that keeps playing in my mind is the scene from Seinfeld where George laments: "I was in the pool! I was in the pool!"
