Disappointed in continental breakfast
This Inn is small with a more homelike and pleasing decor (not modern) but with plenty of privacy. The rooms are spacious and not so "cookie cutter" as your run of the mill hotel/motel. Very average continental breakfast. Very nice staff. I slept really well. Close to the water. I would stay here again.
If handicapped you need to request 1st flr as there is no elevator.
The motel is absolutely beautiful with comfortable, clean, and spacious rooms. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Price was very reasonable. Awesome stay!! :-)
The hot tub was permanently down, wi-fi was very slow, and the continental breakfast was too early ~ needs to be extended until 10 or 11 am at least. When you are on vacation, having to be up and eating before 9 am is not reasonable. LOL! Otherwise, a wonderful stay!! :-)
Ambience loved the fireplace
Nothing. Everything was great
Spacious 2 bed apartment, great for our family of 4 to recover from a flight from Australia before going to the San Juans. Very convenient to shops for supplies. Receptionist was very helpful. Good value.
Furniture a bit dated but it was clean and comfortable.
Very clean, super room size, friendly and helpful staff...would not hesitate to recommend this place...wish we could have stayed longer
Can't think of a thing
The room was great for a family of 4, plenty of room and the fire place was a plus.
Breakfast was a bit disappointing, they had ran out of many things before we made it down at 8am.
I really want to say everything was terrible so everyone else doesn't start staying here, rates go up, they book full and then I can't get a room there on our next trip. But, that would be unfair to the hotel which was all excellent and helped make our trip to Washington to visit our daughter go SO smooth. THANK YOU!!!... You are, truly, America's Best Value Inn!...Judy
Everything!...Read comment above
Very large room for the price. This seemed like a B & B not a hotel. It helps to have kitchen area and a great pizza place right next door. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the continental breakfast too.
The stairs! Even if we were only on the second floor we are at the age stairs can be difficult. But a big "thank you" to the young man who carried our bags up for us!
unit was spacious and comfortable
could use a HD TV to go with the Directv service
Small personal hotel, Clean, Windows Opened. Staff friendly and ready to help with any questions about the area. They even downloaded the Ferry schedule for us.
The fact that I was supposed to have a room with 2 queen beds and it only had one. I checked in late, not going up to the room and by the time we got back to the room, it was after hours so we had to make the most of one bed.
Cleanliness, the large room was perfect, I loved it! I wanted to stay longer. The staff were pleasant, not a phony pleasant they were the real deal. I was fine with the continental breakfast, besides, I was so excited by being in such a wonderful town plus I had a wonderful night of sleep. I do so want to come and hope I can get my 101 room. It does not have a view but I am fine. I was not afraid of the place, some large hotels have a huge lobby room open to everyone which is a have for unscrupulous characters (drug addicts or scalywags). This hotel does not have a large lobby so they know who goes in and who goes out. I feel safer.
Mostly I was impressed by how nice, warm and friendly the staff was there. They were eager to answer all questions and give helpful advice, and even helped me with my suitcase since I had a bad back. Also, my room was super cute and very clean - felt like a little apartment. And the bed was very comfortable.
Just that the street noise was pretty loud, but it is on the main street, so that just is how it is.
The rooms were very clean and well maintained. It was very quiet and we slept great!! I would totally stay here again acutally planning a family trip next time. Great location
Could update with HD televisions especially to watch movies.
Friendly staff, excellent price, clean facility and good sized room.
Good location, clean as a pin , nice friendly people , in short all a person could reasonably ask for
Did not have any negatives.
Location Friendly Staff Comfortable Quiet Fireplace in bedroom comfortable bed ac in the room
The tv was in the "bedroom" Would have been nice if it was in the "living" room.
It was great having a spacious apartment for our family, and the location - right on Commercial Ave - was very convenient for us.
The WiFi was very sketchy, until my husband complained. But the biggest issue (for me) was the flood light illuminating the window of my bedroom, and the lack of curtains, so the room was bright all night, making it difficult to sleep. Either turn off the light at night, or provide black-out curtains!
very quiet, nice water view in the least expensive room. That was a surprise
clean, beds were comfortable, priced right via Booking.com
Mediocre breakfast. Minor housekeeping items like missing shower curtain.
Friendly and helpful check-in staff. Good light breakfast.
Location - easy to reach/find. Close enough to downtown Anacortes (not within walking distance, but few hotels are). Anacortes is a surprisingly buzzing town, with boat works, nice bars, friendly people. Anaco Bay Inn has nice, large rooms with kitchenette. Ours had a view of Mt Baker. Ample Parking. Friendly and supportive management. Continental breakfast.
Only complaint was housekeeping - bathtub, area around wash basin were either not our very superficially cleaned. Apparently no vacuuming during the 5 days we stayed. We brought this to management's attention and trust that it will not be a problem in the future. Room for improvement - a few more kitchen utensils would be nice.
