I staied here just for one night after a kings v. Ducks hockey game. It was a small place but that was okay.
The parking lot was filled. We had to wait for them to ask someone to leave because there wasn't enough spots. The rooms also smelt funky. And the pillows were awful. If you are staying more than one night Id suggest you bring your own.
The room was extremely quiet. I did not here a thing at night. I enjoyed the free wifi, refrigerator and microwave.
I pulled back the sheets and found someone else's hair underneath the fitted sheets. It grossed me out.
Easy walking distance to Disney, very reasonable price for the location
Feels a touch dated, and the office stays closed after hours, so you check in through a window.
Smooth check in Cleanliness Price Very close to Downtown Disney/Disneyland No problems during our 4 night stay Toast/coffee in the morning
ONLY complaint was the hand soap they provided had a strong, horribly strange pepper scent. Bring your own?
Everything was great room staff location
I had to go home lol
Location, room facilities, bed, wi-fi was fast and free
Breakfast toast and coffee, service fro reception needed tv fixed and had to go back 1hr later to remind then it needed fixing
Close to Disneyland Clean despite many reviews Quiet Every receptionist was pleasant!
No plug for bath tub. Price was a bit high
Location is great, quick walk to disneyland
Breakfast served is very basic, staff weren't overly helpful (gave us wrong hours for Disneyland)
Lack of parking.
Staff were really helpful. Location was under three blocks to Downtown Disney. If I ever go back - will definitely stay there again!
The place was really poor looking and it had a hoffible smell. I could not sleep all night I will never go back
Very spacious room. Brand new flat screen tv with lots of channels and free on demand. Bed seemed kinda hard at first, but was actually quite comfortable. Said they dont have breakfast, but there is muffins and toast and coffee available in office in the mornings. Very close to disneyland and downtown disney shops. Lots of places to eat within short distance.
Felt itchy while laying in the bed at night and discovered a huge dead crushed cockroach about 2 inches long under the sheets. Management claimed they were sure they have no infestation issues. Also, came back to hotel after visiting disneyland around midnight and no parking was available on the property, which was a huge inconvenience. Wish they had coffee in the rooms, but only in front office in morning. Heater in room does not work at all and it gets chilly at night.
Very friendly staff.close to all parks
the rain lol
Everything! Clean room. Staff was great. Maid was always checking up on us. Very close to Disneyland right behind it and you can now walk through the cast parking so it's 10x faster!
Walking distance to Disneyland, via Grand Californian....(Hotel California) Great restaurant right next door(Co-Co's),great food, very reasonable.Excellent comfy beds. Accomodating staff. Its not fancy but its clean and cozy..luv it..Despite what some people have said in previous reviews, Its become my first thought for a place to stay when me and my wife are planning a Disney get-a-way!!
If your looking for a 5 star hotel this is not it, You are sure to find a few issues for those that are expecting perfection. However, personally my only complaint would be to add at least "1" commercial free premium station to the Time Warner Discovery Inn line up for our T.V. viewing pleasure.
The location was great. Right across the street from Disneyland.
The staff was rude. The internet didn't work. The heater didn't work and the manager wouldn't do anything about it, except told us to leave if we wanted, without a refund. There were hairs on our "clean" towels. The beds were uncomfortable and the sheets had holes in them. Just awful!
The family suite was only 2 beds which is the same as the regular room but yet they charge more. Very small room nd heater did not work.
There is nothing too like about this place!
Roaches and more roaches. Horrible staff. Horrible food. Horrible experience. Take my advice....DO Not stay here!
It was very clean and the staff was very courteous. I have already referred many people and can't wait to return to Disneyland and use this hotel again. Very assessible to many places.
The tv, bed,had a clean smell
One of the light wasn't working, the painting of the sink table was removing with the warer
I loved the staff. They were extremely nice and made me feel like i was at home!
That one night there was a incident were a man was peeping in my window. I know the hotel had no control over who walks on to the property but after i walked to the front and there was nobody at the desk. But the next day when i talked with the staff They were extremely understanding and looked out for me from then on! Overall it was so peaceful and clean and up to date. Thank you!
Lots of coffee available, but regular cups of joe. Close to the Parks - California Adventure was across the street - but you can cut through the Grand Californian Hotel to get to the parks sooner. The fridge was big and the microwave helped a lot for the trip. The bathroom was big and so was the extra closet and bench inside the room. The beds were very soft and got the job done after 12+ hours at the parks each day. The corner room actually helped keep away most of the bright lights and glare and helped us sleep more comfortably.
Breakfast was a box of Blueberry Muffins and sliced bread with jam packets. The towels were very rough and scratchy. There was a big crack in our window and because we were placed in the room under the stairs, tucked away in the corner it became frustrating to find the window lock to be broken. There was no coffee pot/hot water maker in the room. The tissue box was hidden inside the wall behind the fridge/microwave stand.
Soft beds, nice shower, and lots of channels on TV.
A little run down.
Great location and great price. Its not 5 star but its perfectly good. Family room is small but adequate. Very clean and helpful front desk staff.
