Score from 387 reviews Very good
Lots of room in the kid suite for our group of four adults.
Cups for the coffee were flimsy. And only two packs of coffee for four adults.
The location to Disneyland was perfect. The beds were very comfortable
My room was suppose to have a kitchen, but it didn't. It did have a refrig., microwave, and coffee maker.
Great location. Nice people. Awesome for family and having 2 vanity on bathroom and outside bathroom great.
Staff was very accommodating, even offering to upgrade us to a family a family suite for no extra charge. Overall good value for the location and would stay here again.
I was a bit paranoid about bed bugs from other reviews. We checked the space thoroughly and thankfully never encountered any!
The size of the room/suite. For our group of adults, within walking distance to Disneyland.
Rooms were not as clean/maintained as I feel rooms should be.
I liked the location to the Anaheim Convention Center and nearby restaurants and stores. I also liked that parking was easy and free valet was available.
I felt that some parts of the room could use some upkeep. There was a big stain on the wall of our main room, and our bathroom door was old and chipped and a little hard to close properly.
Family suite, separation for children's room
We stayed here as a family for a week. It was a great place to stay close to Disneyland & value for money.
Room needs refurbished broken tiles rotted wood trim.needs thorough cleaning ceiling dirty,
Location of hotel, service and room is ok
One bathroom for a suite, door was in the way of extra sink. Coffee maker and facilities very simple.
Convenience of location Close to CVS, 7/11 Walking distance to park Free parking Computer/printer on site. Rooms are ok.
Parking process Valet parking pickup (took like 30 mins to get out)
The staff was great. We had a kids suiet and the beds were very comfortable. It was a ten miute walk to disneyland but a nice one. I loved the conscience of cvs next door and the affordable gift shop.
Towels are very small especially the pool ones. A phone book in room would be nice or a resturaunts guide.
Absolutely ridiculous that they only give one parking pass for a room that sleeps 6 people. Will not be staying there ever again.
Location, location, location.
Guest laundry facility has only 2 units and one was broken. It was nearly impossible to find time when other guests weren't using it. Parking was inconvenient as the lot was always full and the valet was do busy that if often took up to an hour to get car. (Only one valet on staff at a time). Heating/AC unit did not work sufficiently and we had to choose heat or air and the maintfnance man set it for that. It couldn't do both so was hard to deal with the fluctuating temps.
Our Family enjoyed our stay at Portofino.
Location to Disneyland (walking distance), separate room for kids to sleep
There weren't enough parking spots for the number of people staying at the hotel. Once we got a spot, we then didn't want to go out in the car and loose it.
This was a great hotel for a family travelling with children. The greatest bonus of this room is the sliding door separating the kids room from the adults room. Each room also has their own television which was nice for each to watch their own shows. This hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the gates at Disneyland/Disney California Adventure. There may be a shuttle service, but I was unaware of it.
This hotel is not a place you would want to spend a lot of time in. It's great for crashing in after a day at Disneyland, but there are no in-house dining options, and the rooms are smaller than they appear on the website. Also, parking is a nightmare here - they have compensated by using a neighbouring hotel's valet, but it is definitely one of the hotel's weak points.
It was! Quiet
Location and comfort.
we booked two rooms, one family suite and one with two queens. i recommend getting a family suite, comes with a mini fridge BUT no freezer. the staff members will be happy to put it in the housekeeping freezer if you bring your ice packs to them (they'll give you a claim ticket). location was perfect for us, in the middle of everything walking distance.
family suite tub wasn't the typical bath tub for the kiddies and the water ran slow so i couldn't even fill the tub a little bit. with a 16 month old it's hard to get them to shower!
in the middle of just about everything (walking distance)
shower/tub water ran a little slow, there is NO free public parking as stated in this listing
For our length of stay I would of liked to of had a mini fridge. The rooms were nice and comfortable the balcony was a great addition.
Lack of mini fridge. Construction going on nearby, which was out of their control. Entry doors to hotel are not automatic.
Excellent location as it is less than 10 minutes (walking distance) from Disneyland; We arrived on a Saturday and there was complimentary valet parking which was great bc the parking garage was small; checking in was a breeze- it took less than 10 minutes to get from our car into our hotel room which was perfect; there is also a laudry area (coin operated) which is always a plus bc I have an unpredictable 2yr old.
Rooms were spacious but felt a little musty/stuffy. The A/C give off a weird smell whenever we turned it on (almost sewer smelling) so we left it off and just left our balcony door opened through the night. We didn't complain about it bc after a long day at the parks, we were too exhausted to address the issue.
The staff is really friendly; they answered questions, helped when we needed it, and had their maintenance staff fix a problem quickly and correctly. There weren't any spots left in their super tiny lot, but they have free valet parking, so it wasn't really an issue. It's also right next to CVS and a tiny market, so we could pick up what we needed. IHOP is across the street if you don't want to eat in your room. It's also on the same side of the street as the parks, so it's just a straight shot down the road.
I wish there was breakfast. It was annoying that the air blew directly onto the bed; I was really cold, but we couldn't turn up the heat because the room itself would get too hot. Also, the person who cleaned our room left tons of washcloths but never any hand towels; we had to actually ask for them. It's also not the quietest place; I could hear the ice machine down the hall and the alarm clock in the neighbor's room.
It was one of the few hotels that offer a double connected room for the kids so we were able to put them to bed and have SOME pricacy . staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Location is excellent. About a 10-15 min walk to the park with a CVS and 7-11 on the way (shop there and save a ton on food /drinks :-) )
The walls are VERY THIN. The curtain on the French doors is completely sheer so there is only privacy from the other room if all the lights are out. Most importantly for me is the bed was VERY uncomfortable. To be fair, I have a temperpedic at home but these beds do not compare to Marriott or Sheridan beds. Overall a good value and location.
