The location, view, beatiful room and friendly staff. And funny labrodors!

The room was lovely, the amenities what one would expect for the price (high end), the location superb (by the sea and central to the town), the overall ambiance gracious and welcoming.

My one disappointment was that my room's gas fireplace -- one of the features that attracted me in the first place (two days at New Year's) -- did not function well my first day and not at all the second. For me, a big letdown. Nor was the standard continental breakfast served on my second day, when most eating places were closed because of the New Year's period.

Location.......... The Inn looks good on the service. It needs some updating and deep cleaning......... and touch up painting.

Dog hair in the room. I love dogs. But the amount of dog hair on the first floor is really not acceptable. I will not return.

We had a fantastic time. The room was gorgeous and the staff was friendly and hospitable. Definitely going back!

Staff were warm and friendly. The Room was LOVELY.....bed was extremely comfortable....in fact I'd love to know the brand of mattress to purchase on my own!. I plan to come every year, and always book my stay at the Anchor Beach House. I had the time of my life in Provincetown!

No family dining room....to enjoy breakfast all at one table.

High speed wifi; verandah with view to ocean; buffet breakfast; pretty room; on main road near shops and restaurants; provided umbrellas for rainy days; loved sitting on verandah overlooking main road to have coffee and brekky and wine:)

The layout of the room was awkward, had to be in bed to watch TV, could not use couch for TV watching, difficult to use PC at cupboard. Would prefer to be able to make coffee in the room as it felt awkward asking the staff for coffee any time other then breakfast.

The location was excellent. A little overpriced for the room size and "partial" view of the ocean, but worthwhile for proximity to everything.

This hotel's wireless is not accessible from every room. We had to sit on the front porch to be able to access their wi-fi.

Had an excellent experience. Great location, friendly staff, comfortable rooms and great view of the harbor.

Bathroom needed a towel hook, but I think that will come with their ongoing improvements. Small issue for a wonderful place!

Great location, wonderful old rennovated building. The owner was so nice. It is near so many restaurants, shops, the library, etc. We plan to return. Sincerely, Jeffrey Carlson

Very relaxed, met at door by a chocolate and a golden lab so hard to go wrong from there.. Very friendly owners and very relaxed situation. Would recommend

Schönes Haus, Zimmer sauber und ordentlich, nette Hotelmitarbeiter. Lage sehr zentral und dennoch direkt am Strand.

Sehr hoher Preis in der Hauptsaison. Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet enorm übersichtlich.

Dejligt værelse, flot indrettet I new England stil. Udsigt til Cape cod bugten fra værelse og veranda. Tag på halsstarrig og tur M. Rundtursbussen. Ellers er provinsboen bare et sjovt turistområde.

Endroit de charme ,plein centre ville, relax et accueillant!

I loved the beautiful and extremely comfortable bed linens on the four poster bed in rm 112. Also fantastic deep jetted bathtub for two . The ability to step out on the second story porch overlooking Commercial street was fun too. The continental breakfast was fab also. Finally the remote controlled ac system made for a totally enjoyable night. Exactly what I wanted for my new friend and I. Hope to return again soon. You can't go wrong at the Anchor Inn Beach House!

New ownership since our last visit is a real plus with friendly staff and charming dogs in residence. The rooms are now again the best in town with deluxe furnishings and amenities. The worn carpets have been replaced by wood floors which are in great condition. There is no where in Provincetown I would rather stay.

Nothing I would change except larger glasses in the room would be preferable, but I am picky.
