Condition of bathroom
everything was great!
Superb location. Even offers waterfront rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Continental bkfst in the rocking chairs on the porch? Priceless!
No towel bars. Weird.
Great room, pleasant staff, great location
Wi-Fi didn't work the entire stay, jetted tub had excessive amounts of crud in the jets that dumped into the tub when engaged (common problem, but housekeeping should turn on the jets each time they clean), front desk didn't open until 10a and there was no drop box for keys for guests checking out before then.
Gorgeous inn...amazing location...friendly and very helpful staff.
Accommodating and fun staff; immaculately clean; great beds and furnishings; friendly and sweet house dogs; excellent vibe
A great location! Its a beautiful old hotel in a fantastic location.
The size of the room and could use a little updating, but great place.
Friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Nice room. Perfect for a P'town escape!!!
spectacular window and balcony view; also a very spacious and private king suite. Perfect for anniversary. Loved the manager (afternoons)....super helpful.
A tiny bit of world weariness in the am staff.
The owner, quality and cleanliness of the room. Also, the view was spectactular!!!!
The view was spectacular.
For a bed and breakfast, it sucked. They asked me if I wanted coffee then went back and poured a cup. They asked if I wanted an English muffin. They went back and toasted one, no butter and left it on the counter. They also left a yogurt on the counter a few minutes later. This is not what I call a Continental Breakfast. I felt that I was inconveniencing. them. The Anchor Inn is a bed and breakfast. They should present a real Continental breakfast.
The view was fantastic, the location was great. The owner and staff were wonderful.
I was disappointed in the breakfast. The bookings.com website stated that a traditional Irish breakfast would be served. The breakfast provided was a continental breakfast. When I went to the website for the Anchor Inn, the continental breakfast was described. Bookings.com should change the advertisement regarding traditional Irish breakfast.
The room's décor, Jacuzzi tub, the views were absolutely wonderful.
Excellent experience, had two rooms as were traveling with my mother. From the gracious and welcoming host, to outstanding rooms and amenities, to the house Labs, Molly and Ginger. The location is perfect, the harbor and monument views spectacular, and the cozy fireplaces in our rooms made the chilly late fall weather almost enjoyable. This was a third stay here, and certainly will not be our last.
Perfect for young couples looking for a romantic hotel
The room was beautiful, from the ocean view veranda to the cozy fire and the sumptuous bedding. Add in the huge whirlpool bath and it was just about perfect.
It's well-located with a view of the street or the bay, depending on which side you're on. Provincetown and the area around it are beautiful. It has wonderful shopping and very good restaurants.
The heating system wasn't explained to me when I arrived, and it wasn't exactly obvious. The shades were confusing too, and weren't explained upon arrival.
We had an really nice stay at AIBH, a very large room with a great view. It's in the shopping street which it was nice. The only thing we missed, were glasses for some wine and the breakfast was a bit disappointing. These two things were not coherent with the hotel itself because everything else was absolutely luxurious, clean and superb. We found it a bit strange that a hotel like this didn't have a real nice breakfast with enough place to sit at the table, maybe in the summer you can sit on the beautiful porch but since we were in October it was too chilly. Still, it is a great hotel and I would surely recommend it.
Very smooth check in, beautiful room, beautiful view.
No complaints! We'll be back again!
Location. It was right on Commercial Ave which is the main drag in town.
The room was poor. The screen on the screen door was off and just laying to the side. One window would not stay open. No place to lay luggage. Just had to lay on the ceramic tile floor. It appeared as though the room was put together in a moments notice. Parking very tight.
I spent two weeks researching and trying to figure out where to stay for my boyfriends birthday this week. So happy I chose the Anchor Inn. It was our first time to Provincetown and it won't be out last. We will always choose the Anchor Inn for future stays. It's close to everything.
My husband and I stayed over one night. The location was great, and Michael the owner was very friendly. The continental breakfast was better than most with delicious scones and muffins. The room made good use of space, and the decor was very romantic with fireplace and jacuzzi tub. Overall it was nice and we would stay again, but ask for ocean view.
The door handle to the balcony was broken and almost impossible to open. And our side of the building fronted onto Commercial St. not the ocean which was a bummer. There were stains on the easy chair and ottoman and I think it would be nice to upgrade to flat screen TVs.
We loved the view and the room. The staff is very friendly.
Minimal Breakfast, no space to sit and not many things to choose from.
View of ocean, room, bed, pillows, resident dogs,
Noisy neighboring vent fan, stair carpet needed deep vac and/or shampoo, very avg. b'fast, coffee just okay, needs towel hooks in bathroom, bath mirror too high
