We loved the location. We loved being near the ocean with the beautiful views.
nothing it was beautiful.
The location on Marginal Way. The dinner at the restaurant was wonderful. The room in the tower was very nice and it was clean.
We were given a room in the tower. The room was very nice. However, there was no front desk there or any attendant to help there. You have to go out & across street for coffee. There should be coffee machines in the rooms. The numbering of the rooms is ridiculous. There are room numberd in the 200's that are on the 3rd floor!
Overlooking the Ocean. Very comfortable
As usual great outdoor hot tub and indoor pool! the bed was amazingly comfortable and it is so close to the Marginal Way and the cute little shops in downtown Oqunquit.
Would have liked to know that there was major construction happening and that it blocked a lot of the views.
Would have liked to know about the construction prior to booking.
The need not to use car at all when visiting for a weekend break. Marginal way to Perkins Cove wonderful coastal Path, just a minute away. Walk to nearby shops a treat and then down to beautiful white sands beach walk, fantastic. Views awesome helpers by fabulous blue skie and superb sunshine.
Everything was great! Clean and beautiful!
The only thing I would like.. a coffee pot in the room.
congenial staff; excellent location;
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and decorated tastefully. The location is great, easy walk to the beach and Marginal Way is right there.
The room was very small, I could touch the ceiling, so it felt a little claustrophobic. The walls are thin, so every time someone above flushed the toilet, we heard it.
Room was always cleaned beautifully. The staff was kind. The pool and hot tub were clean. The view and property was amazing. Right in town with everything a few steps away.
• I have admired the location for years, and off-season we decided to try it. It is beautiful • room was meticulously clean. • Desk clerk was courteous and helpful. Lovely people.
• Even by "continental breakfast" standards, breakfast was skimpy - really what I expect when coffee and snacks are simply available all day. I would rather have known that there would be so little and made other plans. • a little bit of "motel" noise, but truly nothing to complain of. • Off-season renovations mean that most amenities aren't available - but that's why you pay off-season rates.
We had a beautiful room with a fireplace!! It was very large and within walking distance of the shops and restaurants in town.
Fantastic location for walking into town or nearby Perkins Cove and the amazing long sandy beach.
You could hear people talking in the next room. The restaurant and bar had been closed for refurbishment and there were no tea or coffee facilities in the room. These were available in the foyer but meant going outside.
We liked everything

Love the location. Very relaxed atmosphere. The grounds and upkeep are excellent.
Not to be "picky" but the towels in the rooms could be heavier/thicker. They were fine if you were two years old but on bigger bodies more toweling is needed.
Just about everything. I return every year in the fall.
Couldn't bring my Dog Would have liked 1st floor Microwave in room Wish the restaurant stayed open until Oct 31st
The grounds were soooo beautiful and the room not only very pretty but soooo comfy, immaculate!!! all the staff were so friendly, from the front desk, the groundskeepers, and even the construction people - a lovely comfortable place to stay
the regular coffee was not good at all - extremely weak, no taste - if we don't want caffeine u do have de caf - i would think this would be a real easy fix - maybe the coffee maker was not working properly - as u can tell i need my coffee in the AM
The beautiful rolling lawn to the ocean and Marginal Way was inviting! Everywhere I looked outside were flowers, shrubs, fall decor. Carved pumpkins lined the entrance, with all lit up at night for Halloween.
At the end of the season the staff was still motivated. One of the maids ,Sharon , gave us the great tip to visit the wonderful Acamangus Mountain.
Nothing, even the weather was great.
I did' t like the fact that the buildings were not connected.
Entire Staff are extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Bedrooms are fabulous... Restaurant is great for breakfast Grounds are impecably clean...
We were not in the main hotel complex.
not a lot to do in foul weather
Great location-- right on beautiful stretch of beach, short walk to town for restaurants and shops, beds incredibly comfortable, very clean, beautifuly landscaped with fall natural decorations, nice pool/hot tub area, helpful staff.
These are just small things that would have made our stay even better--would have appreciated luggage stands so that we weren't juggling our clothing from the floor.Would have liked a few extra towels in the room and better attention by housekeeping to refresh soap and toiletries, and would have liked a full length mirror in the room.
There was not a restaurant on site. Eating breakfast in a cold tent with a coat on is not a positive. Not have coffee in the room but having to dress and cross two parking lots for coffee in am
