Full kitchenette but no pots, and few cutlery, plates and/or bowls reduces its usefulness.
The bed follows the American standard, very soft and terrible for the back. The sofa is even softer. Vending machines were not working.
Great location. Some rooms have nice views of the mountains, the others see the rail station. Several options of restaurants and shopping in walking distance, and next to the train station, which pleases some, the ease of access to rail and displeases others, because of whistle noise. But can you imagine an Alaska Railroad train without a loud whistle?
We stayed in a spacious room with a full kitchenette but no pots, which reduces its usefulness. The bed follows the American standard, very soft and terrible for the back. The sofa is even softer. The staff was always very attentive and helpful, even when you check in at 01:00 am, as we did, but the vending machines were not working. Continental breakfast distributed in bags to the guests is practical. Overall, we would stay there again.
