Staff not overly friendly. Were very pre-occupied at both check in and check out.

Close to everything. Good value for your money. Clean and comfortable.

The morning breakfast was perfect. The hotel was clean.

We felt that the room we stayed in was a bit tight. We were glad we were there for only 2 nights.

Walls very thin you can hear pretty clearly what's going on in the adjoining room. Pool to small for the amount of guest rooms. There was a group of travelers with teen age girls making a lot of noise at 12am had to go to the front desk to ask them to do something after I had asked several times for them to quiet down a bit. they were running the halls banging in there room showering at 1am front desk called them and asked them to quiet down but as I said you could hear everything and they just mocked him. when I was checking out the girl asked how everything was and I was telling her but all she said was yes we had problems last year with this group and cut me off when I was telling her

You could open the windows. There was a heat lamp in the bathroom. Down comforter and clean, pressed

You could hear movement in the room above, but no noise. The bathtub surface had seen better days...

Cleanliness

The noise from hallway and other rooms was very loud

The slamming of the side door. Every time some one came in or out it was bothersom.

Too Many children in the hot tub.. Making it difficult for adults to enjoy.

I was not that impressed house keeping was not that good and we came back in the evening and the door to our room was open :(

Liked the location for shopping

Not enough plugs for the things that room comes with had to unplug microwave to run lamp or coffee maker or charger for cell phone

Room was clean, location very convenient, quiet

Pool area was dirty and dated, breakfast not that great, sketchy people coming and going some without shirts

Rooms were very clean, desk staff was efficient.

Mattress and pillows were a bit firm for my taste.

My wife and I were extremely disapointed.We would reccomend that if you want people to continue using you that you take them off your list.When we arrived we were informed the hot tub was not working, properly which was the only thing my wife was looking foward to. The halls spelled of animal urine,the maid did not clean the coffee maker from the people before us,there were beer cans under the bed. It was our anniversary and it was ruined.

Front desk helpful and nice. Should supply conditioner with the shampoo. Forgot toothpaste and thought front desk should supply small travel size without charging for it.

Bathroom to small and room smelled stale. It smelled like stale smoke.

There was absolutely nothing that I didn't like about The Anchorage Inn and Suites.From comfortable and impeccably clean rooms to the beautiful indoor pool and sauna to the amazing , friendly staff and the free continental breakfast ,I couldn't have been more pleased. I would like to express my sincerest thanks to the night desk manager Tom. He went out of his way to be helpful and accommodating .He should be commended for his friendly manner and professionalism .And our cleaning lady was awesome! :) She took just a few minutes out of her hard work day to let me in on a few of the wonderful attractions to see in Portsmouth. Nice ,hardworking,friendly.I have never been to Portsmouth N.H. before but I will be back .And although there are many Hotels and Inns in Portsmouth N.H. I wouldn't even think of staying anywhere else.Great job Anchorage Inn and Suites.....! You guys and gals are the best! :)

What I didn't like ? Absolutely nothing ! I didn't like myself for forgetting to fill out the customer satisfaction card in our beautiful room and leave a nice tip. Was in a hurry and I will be sending something on to the Inn myself.Shame on me for forgetting ! :(

The bed and room was very comfortable. Pool was awesome. Breakfast was adequate clean. Front desk was friendly, informative, and they up graded us.

No eggs for breakfast, no cantalope. An oder of cat urine in the corridors.

Staff was super, very responsive and pleasant ! Pool area and hot tub were great to relax in (hot tub was hot - a good thing). They have adults only hours from 10-11pm in the pool area. Convenient location. Good assortment at breakfast. 24 hour coffee and tea & filtered hot and cold water.

The people here have been wonderful, but then they always have been.

Love the room and the location. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and clsoe to downtown.

the pool area was filled with about 15 kids throwing balls back and forth and no one enforcing the rules or supervising them. Myself and another guest complained to the desk clerk, who, after some convincing ( I explained it was a liability if someone got hurt) agreed to tell them to stop. NOt really the hotels fault, but they shoudl have taken the initiative to make sure that children were supervised and following rules in the pool area..it was complete mayhem and almost ruined our trip.

Intermittent wifi, not very scenic, as it is rut next to the highway.
