great location, beautiful beach, convenient restaurant across the street, staff was pleasant did not realize I would be in Atrium, Friday night, after returning from our dinner, some people had a buffet dinner set up on tables from the pool in the hallway outside our room and beyond! loud noisy crowd easily heard in our room..screaming kids in the pool Fri and Sat night making it impossible to enjoy the pool. Very disappointed as this was my 4th stay here and everything had always been perfect.

Ease of check in and staff is VERY friendly and accommodating. Bath products are small and not the best quality - with 3-4 women in each room I reserved, we did not have enough product. A better quality product would be very appealling.

it was on the ocean we were looking forward to our stay, we arrived early so had lunch at their restaurant. I am vegan so ordered the veggie burger?? It was white, I have never seen a white veggie burger, got violently ill later that day. We checked in and were directed to the building behind the hotel, no ocean view. We had a view of the parking lot. Went for a ride and checked in at our favorite place in Ogunquit instead. The Atrium building where the room was had a pool in the middle of the building, so of course it smelled of chlorine. Thought I could get past that when I saw the room, but it was small and dingy and had it's own aroma. We never unpacked and after finding another room we went back and checked out, touched nothing in the room, called Monday they wouldn't even consider a refund. I told them that our babysitter couldn't stay overnight, as I did not want to make a scene at the front desk. I did send them an email and got no response. Guess they don't care. I would give this a rating of 1 out of 10, the 1 is because you are close to the beach. would never recommend this to anyone.

Even a "partial ocean view" room actually had a substantial view of the ocean. Restaurant across the street - very nice, clean and views of the ocean. Neither Bookings.com nor the staff at the Anchorage mentioned that there was a continental breakfast available. My husband would have liked a cup of coffee earlier in the morning ...and it was there, but we were never told!

We enjoyed the atmosphere. It was very laid back, and that suited my wife and I very well. We were especially pleased with the reception provided by your staff while there. In essence, we enjoyed our stay immensely. Would and have recommended your facility to others. David and Linda Gallagher Nothing comes to mind.

Front desk staff very accomodating and friendly. Room was very clean The connection with sun&surf makes dining simple. Nice to have chairs right outside the room. Walls are thin We heard couple nextdoor fight, cry and makeup later. In addition, others came banging on their door at 2:00 A.M. to go out. Thought a 3rd floor room might mitigatate some of that noise.

The Location The room was not in any condition to stay at. I have stayed at this hotel many times growing up and I was disgusted with my experience. I was sent to the very back of the hotel, even though it was empty. There were boards up over the doors, some doors were taped shut, the room smelled like smoke. When I spoke with the lady at the counter, she informed me that there was no way she would refund our money because the room was non-refundable.

I liked that we were put in the back building with the pool seeing as we had 3 young children with us. And also liked that we were on the bottom floor so we just had to go right outside our room to get to the pool I liked that with children we were on the bottom floor, but we had an oceanview room .. (142) and there were tree branches blocking the view that I wish were cut down.

We thought the room was very clean. I liked the fact that the pool was in the hotel building we sayed at. The ocean view was nice. The room was very small and the tv was ridiculously small. Totally out of date. Lap pool was too cold to go in. There were no towels at the pool.

Across the street from the ocean; indoor pool outside our room; outdated room; you have to walk to the office to get coffee, pay for the first cup then get free refills and the coffee cups are really small so you have to keep walking back to get more coffee; were not offered ocean view room even though some were available.

I was in Maine for a service for my dad who'd passed away. The sound of the waves crashing rhythmically on the shore was very soothing for me. I appreciate that the Anchorage is open year 'round and has someone at the desk 24-7 even in winter. Also that your off-season rates are reasonable. Thank you! I don't know what I would have done without you at this sad time. I wish I'd been allowed to have a coffee pot in my room when I requested one. Seems like a small thing and I'm sure you could have provided me with one.

I originally booked for one night, changed my stay to two with no problems, politely and friendly about doing the change... The room was very clean and inviting to me, wanted to just relax and be alone for a couple of days...the room invited this, atmosphere was very friendly, comfortable, view was fantastic,,,ocean view in the winter has always been one of my favorites. breakfast was adequate and being able to sit by the pool to enjoy it was great !! to sum it up,,I had a most enjoyable, comfortable and friendly stay at a very nice m otel.

View location and indoor pool for winter swimming. Room was clean; hotel well maintained; comfortable. We found the lack of coffee in the room a major annoyance for morning routine. It meant that in snow and ice we had to get up, dress, find a coffee shop, etc. before/to start the morning. Likewise, the Inn has no complementary breakfast and, like it or not, we've gotten used to that even in the most inexpensive motels. Even a continental breakfast bar in the Annex where we were staying would have been appreciated.

My husband and I are in our 5th year in a row staying at Anchorage. I guess we like consistency and dependabilility of staff and getting the room we desire. This year we were told our room was in the back building when we arrived. I told them where we usually stay and we were promptly given the room.

Location was great and the room was very clean. The parking areas were not well lit. My husband and I both had an issue in the evening and tripped. A stump on an island between parked cars was uprooted. It was so dark you couldn't even see it. My husband sprained his back. Also, In the colder temperatures. I do not like having to walk to another building (office) to buy coffee!! Atleast, a coffee maker should be provided in room
