Nice access for my disability. Roomy. Clean.
Sofas very uncomfortable !! Also no filters for coffee maker so grounds went right through to coffee !
The lady at the desk was good and nice, and helpful. Great to get around down town
Someone smoking late in the night. Also the edges and corners needs to be cleaned or needs a new paint.
Lack of A /C
Good view of the trains and bay in the distance. The room was large.
The room didn't feel very clean. The carpet didn't look like it had been vacuumed prior to our arrival. Also, the tub area smelled moldy; probably from a construction/design flaw.
location, clean, except for some need for minor fixes in bathtub area.
although reasonable for Anchorage compared to other places, still pricey. Bathtub was aged. Overall in need of some smaller fixes and updates. not a problem for us, but did not have elevator to upstairs.
Spacious, facilities, location.
Major issue with payment/split between 2 entities=personal leisure and business (paying for remainder). Rather than putting just a note on door in the morning of the last personal day, we were locked out when came back in the afternoon and had to put remainder on personal acct. for remaining days up front!. Next day the business acct. wrote a check and personal credit card was charged. At this point, still trying to determine if I got double billed. Very irritating; made it appear they thought we were going to "escape without paying yet they had my card number. Poor way to do business.
We dealt with 3 different people during our one night staff and they were all friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed. Big room. Nice shower.
Very expensive but I think that is just Anchorage. Nothing else, we liked it but we had been tent camping for 3 weeks so we were ready for it!
The bed was comfortable and the hotel was relatively quiet except for the train horns from the railway, which is a quarter mile away. The hotel is a good value compared to others in Anchorage and within walking distance of downtown.
The hotel is comparable to a Motel 6 or Days Inn, only the rooms are bigger and there is no elevator. The safe and room clock were not functional. Bathroom was clean, but the rest of the room was only marginally clean. Good choice if you are looking for a convenient location and a comfortable bed at a reasonable price, but don't expect a Marriott class property. The photos are a bit deceiving.
Very nice place. Great staff and very comfortable.
There was a lot of air traffic.
Way too much money for this hotel. Odd huge jacuzzi ( could fit 4 people) instead of shower or bath. Tired facilities and 3 floor walk up without any warning. Despite efforts at upgrade, hotel seems dated and worn.
It was too expensive for the quality of the hotel.
Located near the railroad depot and downtown. Helpful, friendly staff. We were able to leave some of our luggage at the hotel while we spent 3 nights in Denali.
Blinds on the windows did not block out the sunlight. There is no elevator, which was only a problem when arriving and departing with heavy suitcases.
The room was large, clean, and simple. The kitchen was incredible. The staff is great. This hotel is a fun and easy option.
The bedrooms need curtains that block sunlight and create a dark room for sleeping. The hotel is close to the rail lines in and out of town and this can make things pretty LOUD.
Window blinds were dusty/dirty. Carpet old and stained.
There was nothing to like
I don't think this place had ever been cleaned. It was hot. Smelt terrible. There was a dirty flannel in the bathroom. I think you get the general idea Did I mention it was filthy.
The rooms were large. They prepared them early for us. If you need dishes they will rent them to you. They supplied coffee. It was within walking distance from the train station.
There were stains on the carpet and the couch. The power button on the tv remote did not work. The area had several difficult looking individuals hanging out. I would not stay here again.
overall the room was very good.
the bed was hard and creeked when i rolled over.
The location and the staff, also the good price!
It worked well for us. We needed a kitchen for my husbands research and it was just perfect. The living room was comfortable. It was great having a separate bedroom. It was and easy walk to excellent restaurants and events. We had a wonderful stay. We will plan to stay again.
The staff was attentive and got some food together for us to take for breakfast on an early excursion. The room was comfortable though a bit small.
Quality of the construction was mediocre. Up several stairs but no elevator. Staff did carry our bags which helped a lot.
John in the office was great. He was very nice and personable.
