I liked the room layout
The cable TV sucked and the showerhead didn't work.
The staff ..the price ...and the fact of getting more than just a room..its an apartment for the price of a typical hotel room .
It was a room to sleep in.
Thought it was a boutique hotel. It was outdated and was dusty. Difficult to find. We arrived very late had to carry luggage up to third floor. We could almost reach the balcony next door. Creepy to have someone sitting directly across from your bed smoking at 2 am when there are only vertical blinds on the window and we needed them open to air out the room. Jacuzzi tub was old and we couldn't get shower to work.
The suite is very spacious and good quality and stylist furnishings. Fairly close to the main downtown areas Staff were always pleased and eager to see you.
It is not in the best part of the downtown area, that didn't worry us but some visitiors may have felt uncomfortable. it is close to railway station so if you a light sleeper expect to be woken by the trains (All bells and whisltes).
Nice clean and good location for our needs.
The futon and couch in living room very uncomfortable. We slept great in bedroom, but our son and wife didn't. Also too uncomfortable to even watch TV. Everything else was great.
The full size kitchen so we could cook some good food. The space was great. The location was good for most things we did.
The noise from the trains going through town and blowing their horns at 3 -4 am. The unit was a little dated but comfortable.
Clean, comfortable, nice bed, giant jacuzzi tub.
train noise, view, airplane noise
Good value. Close to train depot in anchorage. Excellent customer service. Was very clean and comfortable.
It's a combo of hotel and condo so some rooms are privately owned. Managers can't necessarily control things like how nicely the place is furnished how up to date the furnishing are etc. So you might just have the basics but it will be clean.
i loved uptown suite, we had a large one bedroom suite, with seperate lounge room well equipped kitchen , very homely, very clean and staff were very helpful, spent 3 days and i stay again if we come back to Anchorage ,
The manager was fantastic and it was clean, safe and affordable
Iots of room
The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The bed was nice and comfortable. the room was large and lots of space. The room was worth the price.
The hotel is a bit run down. At first glance it's not so bad, but upon a closer look you can tell this place a bit rough around the edges. The facility is located near the downtown but feels like a rougher neighborhood.
Unit was disgusting neighborhood was dodgy noise in the unit very loud including train whistles. Web Site not an honest representation of this property.
Nice large and clean room
Nice access for my disability. Roomy. Clean.
Sofas very uncomfortable !! Also no filters for coffee maker so grounds went right through to coffee !
The lady at the desk was good and nice, and helpful. Great to get around down town
Someone smoking late in the night. Also the edges and corners needs to be cleaned or needs a new paint.
Lack of A /C
Walking distance to downtown anchorage. The Manager was nice. The Suites has only 19 rooms. The balcony has good view to the trees, and seeing the seaplanes flying over the place. Their is a wifi access from room.
The following are not @ suites a: pool, and gym.
Good view of the trains and bay in the distance. The room was large.
The room didn't feel very clean. The carpet didn't look like it had been vacuumed prior to our arrival. Also, the tub area smelled moldy; probably from a construction/design flaw.
location, clean, except for some need for minor fixes in bathtub area.
although reasonable for Anchorage compared to other places, still pricey. Bathtub was aged. Overall in need of some smaller fixes and updates. not a problem for us, but did not have elevator to upstairs.
Spacious, facilities, location.
Very old, used, tired and grungy. Terribly noisy, planes, trains and construction equipment. Panoramic view offered was a building wall on one side and the parking lot on the other.
Major issue with payment/split between 2 entities=personal leisure and business (paying for remainder). Rather than putting just a note on door in the morning of the last personal day, we were locked out when came back in the afternoon and had to put remainder on personal acct. for remaining days up front!. Next day the business acct. wrote a check and personal credit card was charged. At this point, still trying to determine if I got double billed. Very irritating; made it appear they thought we were going to "escape without paying yet they had my card number. Poor way to do business.
We dealt with 3 different people during our one night staff and they were all friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed. Big room. Nice shower.
Very expensive but I think that is just Anchorage. Nothing else, we liked it but we had been tent camping for 3 weeks so we were ready for it!
