Fabulous rooms, lobby, and staff.

The location of the hotel

My 2 daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel the same time last year and were now shocked to see how the standard of the hotel has dropped and changed within one year. 1) Rooms are not cleaned satisfactorily 2) Rooms are well used - bed base broken, many scratches, carpet dirty - requested a different room which was larger, however cleanliness still a problem. Body lotion etc not replaced. Housekeeping needs to be addressed. 3) The coffee bar in the lobby has been removed - a great disappointment . Also no meeting place in the lobby in the evening for wine tasting The fantastic vibe and atmosphere of the past has disappeared completely 4) Hotel has become very impersonal and definately no value for money. Will not be returning in the future

Efficiency and approachability of staff using I pads in the Lobby to locate information quickly.Hotel had a lovely ambience and the location was superb for sight seeing and every thing we wanted to do in ny.

Huge clear glass windows between shower and room might make it difficult to take a shower with the kids in the room. Most tourist attractions were not a walking distance away. Probably better for romantic experience or business.

The room was spacious, staff was helpful and friendly, complimentary non-alcoholic mini fridge, the iPod dock in the room was excellent. Me and my wife loved the waterfall shower. The bed was comfortable.

The room can get a little hot. Thermostat didn't go below 60 degrees and my wife was hot and uncomfortable in the middle of the night.

Great location for proximity to several subway lines that provide easy access to all places of interest. King Room is very clean, modern, comfortable with wooden floor. I stayed on the 16th floor and the room was quiet.

There is no coffee maker in the room

Very clean and quite. The location is good, not the best in NYC for shopping, but it takes less than 15 minutes on the train to get to 34th street,Times Square and Soho. There are a lot of restaurants within walking distance. The staff was friendly, and I was really appreciative of them checking me in early since my flight landed extremely early. Almost forgot to mention the rain shower, it's wonderful.

There is no coffee/tea station in the hotel, and also no self serve laundry. Some areas in the room are starting to experience some wear and tear, but nothing that will not make me stay there again.

Wonderful bedroom and bathroom! They were both a really good size. Real luxury. The staff were really attentive without being over fussy! We were met by a friendly member of staff when we checked in and all the staff members we dealt with during our stay were friendly and helpful also. Good location also as it was very close to wall street subway station but was in a relatively quiet area away from the hustle and bustle which we liked.

Very nice room, large, with a modern design, well fitted, complementary minibar. Friendly staff. Good restaurant. Hidden clue in the room with get you a complementary glass of champagne.

Hotels in the financial district are a great deal for non-business weekend trips. This hotel holds itself out as being in the luxury market, and it is pretty slick. Rooms are large and well appointed. We had a king room, which had a huge shower and soaker tub. A good location near to the subway. It is a good base for a weekend in NYC.

This was our second stay at the Andaz Wall St. While still fairly new, the fixtures and furnishings are already starting to look dated: there are chips in furniture veneers and it is starting to look like they cut corners in putting the place together. That said it is still a luxury type hotel in the heart of the financial district which is a good bargain on the weekend. We didn't get the level of treatment that we were expecting. The complimentary non-alcoholic drinks weren't replaced - even after we called down to housekeeping. They have now started to charge for coffee and juice in the lobby - although they still have a complimentary cocktail hour in the evening.

The hotel itself was great, the service top notch and the amenities, especially the gym, were fantastic. What my friends and I enjoyed most though is the spaciousness of the room and the bathrooms.

The pricing policy was a hastle, booking.com prices were higher than the ones on Hyatt.com but for people not living in the US who are not used to the exclusion of taxes, the whole pricing is rather difficult to reconcile and therefore one could end up getting a higher price, as in our case.

Whats not to like. From the staff to the room the experience was fantastic. The bar the resturant the elevators were all first class. The room had everything including a bath tub.I can go on and on how great this place is.

The pillows for me they were too soft.

Cool, comfortable, modern, clean and friendly. Great food.

What a great place...nice and quite too! Subway near by and in midtown in 20 minutes. Seaport a 2 minute walk. Hotel rooms are large and confortable, not typical of NYC. The staff great. The 24 hour barista a nice treat and lot's of freebies included. I would not hesitate to stay here again. We all had a great experience.

A pool would have been nice.

Great room, nice amenities, coffee and juice in the morning, professional hotel, free wifi. Beds are fine - most important for a hotel stay ;)

Some of the staff members are rather cold and somewhat arrogant. It does not bother me but a bit more welcoming attitude goes a long way.

Excellent staff, very willing to accomodate requests, nice touch to have free mini breakfast and drinks. Rooms large and well insulated. Free bikes ! Deal with next door parking garage (32 $ / night).

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. Modern, super clean, friendly helpful staff, nearly perfect.
