The best hotel ever! Very nice place, managers are so nice, and you may take your breakfast on the terrace and feed squirrels :)

Very tiny shower and restroom. Slow internet. Breakfast in room.

It was the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. There was shouting at all times of the night, (admittedly from outside the hotel) and fire crackers one night at 2am so I don't think I had a good nights sleep the whole time.

Staff engaged with each guest in friendly & helpful conversations. They offered printouts of maps, made suggestions based on their up to date knowledge of SF & it's distinct neighborhoods. Andrews hotel has an intimate atmosphere that's welcoming.

Room was small but I knew that before booking.

Very responsive, friendly staff. Breakfast with outstanding coffee a few steps from our room. Quaint basic structure and decor with free wi-fi & TV.

The stiff plastic (?) covering on the bed pillows under the case. The many decorative pillows were much more comfortable.

It has character and charm. I love the fact that this is one of the few good hotels that is family owned and not yet another chain hotel that destroys smaller hotels. This one still resists and its a charming place.

very nice old-fashioned hotel in a pretty good location. Staff was friendly and helpful, there was a nice restaurant attached with free wine for guests each night.

it was a bit on the pricey side, although I generally think it as worth it.

Staff were generally friendly and an easy walk to Union Square.

Breakfast options were disappointing and room was very small.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The usual large chains were booked so I stayed here by myself and was pleasantly surprised. This is a small boutique hotel, so if you need a cozy but clean place to stay in a great location, I would recommend this place. The continental breakfast, wine reception, and ice water/coffee bar in the lobby are all nice touches that elevate this a bit above other bargain hotels in the area.

Rooms are small but adequate. There's not a lot of amenities: the TV was tiny but I packed a yoga DVD to make up for the lack of a fitness facility and went for a run along the water. For an old bathroom, it was remarkably clean but some will find the lack of counterspace an issue.

Very close (just 2 blocks) to Union Square. Easy to take bart to Lombard st and Fisherman's Wharf. Nice shops around,especially Macy's and Ross nearby. Kind staff and will providecity map and detailed explanations about transportation to guests.

The staff were lovely and endlessly accommodating! The location was amazing and the hotel was clean and quiet! We would recommend friends and family to stay here and will be returning!

The location and the staff were excellent. Room was clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was poor, served ad the corridor, and you need to take it to your room. Only sweet things to eat, and not enough chairs for a couple to eat at the room.

The continental breakfast on each floor early in the morning. Nice touch.

The gentleman behind the counter was surly and unhelpful. Whilst struggling at times to enter the tiny elevator, no offer to help was made despite him standing 6 feet away. I thought the lady was in contrast a nice person to deal with.

Great medium hotel near Union Square, Powell and Market Street. Nice staff which gave us a free upgrade upon arrival.

The price and fee hikes for the night since it was New Year's. Also parking accessibility was poor. There was no way around the ridiculous parking fee.
