The staff was very attentive, clean common areas, good service, clean bathrooms
Everything was great
Dorms are very clean and tidy. Staff is very kind and helpful. Every evening they have something to do: ghost tour, movie night etc. Wi-fi is excellent throughout the building and it's a good place to meet new people. Many solo travellers when I was there. Love it!
Free cereal, kitchen location on the basement. Wifi,
I haven't found one.
Location, friendly staff, 24-hour reception, well-behaving guests, exceptionally clean room and bathroom, no curfew, linen and towel provided, easily accessible electrical sockets for each dorm bed, free access to computers, cheap printing
Wi-Fi stopped working one night around 10 p.m. and was inoperative until at least 7 a.m. the following morning (I checked out the). The night receptionist was not at all assertive at resolving the issue.
I have never met such caring and friendly staff than in Apple Hostels. They are truly wonderful people who will make your stay a unique personal experience.
Nothing, everything was perfect.
People there are so nice. I booked at a wrong date, the one called Matt just helped to swap it at 2 a.m. Very clean place.
Totally cool vibe. Cool people from MANY different walks of life. I loved getting to talk to people visiting the States from various countries. It was just a really fun spot. Wish I would have done the group activities they offer. I definitely want to stay in the one in new York based off the experience I had there. I will definitely be staying there when I return to Philly!
It was way over my expectations
- VERY clean - great bonding activities - drinking allowed in lobby - very quiet in dorm room
- fairly expensive for a hostel - small lockers
The staff were so helpful and enthusiastic, I had so much fun on the pub crawl--I attribute it to the participants being in a good mood because they were treated so well by staff. The best hostel I have ever stayed at and that is saying a lot because I've been all over the world
Kitchen Location Bed Cleanliness
Everything I've never been to a hostel so for my first time everything was great!
Staff: very nice and helpful Rooms: comfortable Location: very close to the most fmous place in Philadelphia and not far from Greyhound station
Breakfast : only some cereals No receptionist when I checked out Lockers outside the room Price: expensive
Meet exciting people. Very Hospitable environment. Clean. Value for money.
This was ny first visit to a hostel didnt know about them until a bestfriend mentioned to me. Had a great stay and awsome location. And meet some great new friends there aswell. I would love to go bk again.
This is an awesome place to stay, it's location is great so you can just walk to a variety of restaurants and iconic city places. The rooms are confortable and the bathrooms are clean. The staff is really nice and and are willing to help you always. They also organize different activities for the guests to meet each other.
Very big dorm but also very quiet. Toilet in the room, very convenient. Good for rest. Nice staff.
The worst shower I had in 2 months traveling. Please replace those horrible shower heads. They are useless!
The facilities were very good and the hostel is very clean. The staff is very friendly and there's an overall good atmosphere also among guests. It's very well situatied near the Independence Hall.
The WiFi wouldn't always connect, but I didn't hear any other complaints about this. So it could be my phone. Another downside was the disturbances in the dorm, especially snoring, but that's something that can be expected in a hostel.
Friendly, helpful staff Opportunity to meet interesting people Good security Clean beds in good condition Free WiFi Foosball, Wii, glass chess board, free dvds to borrow Free coffee and some food Laundry facilities Lots of other freebies Social activities nightly 5 minutes walking from all the historical Philadelphia sites
Showers were showing their age in the men's dorm (still work well though, which is the main thing) Entrance feels like it's in an alleyway (but it's well lit and in a safe party of town)
So friendly with great get to know you drinks, tours and activities. Location is perfect and two mins from public transport. Such good value and a great vib
Nothing. It was perfect.

Nothing I can remember

So far so good
great location. worth the price. staff are welcoming and nice. bed is very comfortable. good choice if you just want to find a place to crush for one night.
staff show up in the middle of the night, with a torchlight to my face making sure that I'm the person that should be sleeping in this bed, after I specifically stated that I'm taking a exam at 8 a.m. the following morning.
Temporary problem with the washrooms in the third floor which lasted all my stay there. Had to use the one on the first floor.
