Comfortable, clean bed

The noise from the street, even though we were 9 stories high and we had no balcony!

Easy access to shopping, beach, and bus transport.

room was clean and comfortable, friendly staff, centrally located. short walk to beach, good value. attached Ihop rest.

Comfortable room, lovely view. Even though the website says internet is wired in the rooms, they have upgraded to wifi. Free apples at reception.

I read other people's comments about the noise from Ala Moana Boulevard, and took it with a grain of salt, as I don't usually mind a bit of street noise, but this is serious noise. Ala Moana Boulevard has 8 lanes and traffic lights right outside the hotel. Loads of buses go past, people on antisocially loud motorcycles, more sirens than downtown la. It's impossible to hear your tv or radio on normal volume if you have your balcony door open as the noise from the street is so loud. There is also unpleasant noise from shrieking kids in the pool on this side of the hotel, so bottom line - ask for a room on the other side of the hotel.

The location and the staff are great.

Normally when we stay with you, we enjoy keeping our balcony door open at night for the fresh air.......This trip, the room next to us was constantly smoking on their balcony. We notified the front desk on 3 seperat occasions, but it did not seem to help.

The parking lot was very difficult to maneuver and dirty...carried dirt on my shoes into my room.

Overall, great hotel and staff. Definitely will return again and recommend to friends and family.

We had a free breakfast voucher at IHOP. Unfortunately, the waitress was not friendly towards folks paying voucher since we would always get skipped when comes to "are enjoying your meals, would you like anything else" thus never came back if we needed anything else. Also unpleasant when being explained what we get with the voucher. Very unprofessional with attitude issue. surprise she's in this line of business. Never experience anything as such.

Convenient location to conference centre. Excellent beach at Ala Moana, much less crowded than Waikiki. Free internet in rooms. Helpful and friendly staff.

Rooms a little dated and could do with a renovation. The rooms facing Diamond Head quite noisy due to traffic from Ala Moana blvd.

Room was spacious, clean, amenities such as frig and microwave a real plus.

Elevator to parking garage was up 1/2 flight until we figured out to move our car to the next level up, then could roll big suitcase right onto the correct floor and not a flight of stairs.

Room was clean. Quiet hotel.

Staff were very pleasant and always willing to assist.

The room we were initially given was not as advertised with booking.com

This Hotel is in a great location for the beach and shopping.

The air conditioner was very noisy in our first room. The Hotel was quick to rectify this by swapping our room.

I was really impressed with the whole accommodation at aqua palms. At first I thought gees this is small but it wasn't. After staying a week I became quite fond of it. And when I went to my next place to stay I wish I had stayed at the aqua for longer

The shower head wouldn't move around just side to side.

Location is great. Everything is right there. Across from Hilton, a pretty nice village over there. Closed by a lot of nice places.

For the price probably could get a better room elsewhere. All rooms have balcony, but can't even smoke there. Maybe at least have a floor that people can smoke at least out there. Not convinent to walk all the way out the building to a corner.

The only downside was the WIFI - had to be used in the Lobby with many other users and was impossible to use Skype with loved ones overseas-

The room was quite large and well appointed especially having a proper ironing board and iron. Though it was a budget hotel we had some view of the sea and open spaces - no looking at brick walls or ugly carparks. Loved the large screen tv. Breakfast was a bonus and always a drawcard for me when I choose a hotel. Service desk personnel were always helpful and obliging. The manager's cocktail evening was most enjoyable and she definitely made an impression in her welcome speech Overall we were very pleased to have chosen this hotel.

It is a small thing but the lighting in the room was too dark at night and the bedside lamps did not throw enough light for reading. Also it was fantastic to have a microwave oven but we would have liked just a couple of plates and bowls for heating food and basic cutlery.

It would be nicer if they had beach towels and a safety box in the guest room.

The location is great; close to the beach, Ala Moana Park, shopping center and bus stop. Staff is good, the rooms comfortable. Good breakfast arrangements with IHOP.

The road noise is a bit annoying on the 'beach & diamond side

Stayed at Aqua Palms Waikiki for 4 nights in March 13. Enjoyed our stay. Location is ideal as it was close enough to walk to Waikiki beach but far enough away to avoid the hussle and noise. Opposite the Hilton which has it's own lagoon and beach which was nicer than the main Waikiki beachfront. Staff were friendly and concierge was helpful. Would stay again.

The cost was okay. After we saw how bad of shape the first room was, they gave us a chance to switch to another room that was better but still not in the best condition.

everything seemed to be dirty and old. the blue decorations above the bed had stains on it. and the walls looked like they had just gone through some patch work.

The facilities in the room, everything was nice, microwave was handy. Pink line trolley right outside the hotel to go to Ala Moana shopping centre. Friendly and effective reception staff and helpful concierge.

If you want to be at Waikiki on your stay there are plenty of hotels with the same rate right at the heart of the Waikiki area, while it is a 15 minute walk from this hotel to reach there. It is located in between the Ala Moana and Waikiki though making it accesible to both areas. The bell desk stuff a bit rough.

We requested a quiet room to sleep and we're so pleased that it was quiet at night.
