We loved the fair price, our friendly, helpful unobtrusive hosts, the beautiful bed and romantic decor, the warm bathroom and the hot shower, the delicious breakfast, the gorgeous property and the beautiful horses. We loved everything about the place and can't wait to get back for another visit!
Really nice inn with nice setting.
- bathroom in the hall was not clearly marked on Website - room's blinds had difficulty closing/opening
Carrots to feed horses was fun. Operators very friendly and helpful with directions.
Would have liked something homemade as part of breakfast. Wish they had bottles of wine to sell. No stores nearby to buy nibbles etc so having a few things for sale would be nice. A bit more clutter than I am used to.
Old farm feel, horses etc.
A little cluttered and froufrou for us but that's just a matter of opinion.
It's a magnificent property. The green lawns, horses. views, all stunning. The owners, when we finally were greeted at breakfast, were charming and gracious. I wish there had been a wine and cheese, or something in the evening to chat with them, get dinner recommendations, etc.
Just too much too much bric-a-brac. As spacious as the acreage felt, the inside was jammed with things. Some editing, please. It also felt awkward to arrive to no one there. A couple of crackers, a few apples in the room would have been hospitable in the absence of our hosts. The toilet facility was just odd.
This beautiful house in a beautiful country side setting has a big lawn where kids can run around, has horses, and is a great place to relax. Highly recommended, especially for those who live in the city!
Had a nice little cottage with a beautiful view and a full kitchen. Gorgeous, very new England location, but closer to the city than you might expect. Breakfast was great, I'm still full. If you are a tea person, you will be in heaven. Got my horse fix. Grounds are beautiful--no wonder people get married there.
It can be a bit tricky to find. In the day time, look for the doublesize black mailbox--right across from the town offices
The inn is located in a quiet, countryside like location. The surroundings are peaceful and pleasant. The inn is lovely. Our visit was reminiscent of taking a step back in time.
What a delight to stroll the grounds, read beneath the giant maple, merge with the pond sounds & dine on Jean's delicious omelet yes & soak in the oversized tub! What a treat retreat! I'm planning a return stay!
Parlor area was a bit dusty for me but I'm allergic to dust.
The 9 acre property that this house is on is very nice. We stayed in Georgie's Cottage with our 4 children. The owners were very nice, breakfast was always good and they are very knowledgeable about the area since they have been residents of the same home for over 30 years.
Gorgeous property. Delicious breakfast.
Too dark to negotiate different floor levels between bedroom and bathroom at night. Needs better night lights.
Beautiful, bucolic setting Excellent breakfast outside on the patio overlooking the lawn and horse corral Cozy room Friendly host and hostess Quiet
the bed was too soft for our taste
Host & hostess were friendly. Nice quiet location and setting.
Had a nice big room but it was so cluttered with furniture that there was hardly room to turn around. Also, too much stuff on all the surfaces (table, desk, in the bathroom, etc), and a lot of it looked like it hadn't been dusted in awhile. The place seems a bit tired; chairs on our porch were falling apart and there were dead plants in the planters.
Property is a beautiful piece of land - very picturesque. Inn owners very nice and helpful. Fresh eggs for breakfast excellent!
Room was dusty - bed did not get made each day. No kleenex, clock or phone in room. Breakfast the same each morning - more variety would be nice.
The animals on site were fun to visit and the property is lovely. The trees are old and the farm is scenic.
Beautiful spot. Great couple running the B&B. Breakfasts out if this world delicious with homemade bread, muffins. Bacon and fresh from the chicken eggs!
Room slightly funky but added to characyors of the place.
We felt right at home at the Inn. Joan and Rick were so good to us and our son for our weekend stay. If we are ever in the area again, we would definitely stay at the farm again. The room was cozy and relaxing and the view was great. We had our own balcony where are three year old could watch the horses. Later, we walked around the gorgeous grounds and fed the horses carrots and sat by the pond. This trip was just what we needed and the Arabian horse Inn made it extra special! Great breakfast with farm fresh eggs and homemade bread as well...
nature place (horses and birds chirping around the property) fresh eggs and homemade items for breakfast Convenient location to town and Boston by car
Could have been a much better experience if we could use the fireplace (no log provided and no response when we called). Tissue box was empty, candles in the bathroom were used up, crumbs on the sofa chair... Walking trail at the back should have been more well-maintained. With some form of maintenance, this would have been a very pleasant experience.
Joan and Rick were very hospitable and accommodating. We are vegetarian and they provided delicious breakfast options. The facility was extremely well appointed and comfortable. This was the perfect spot for our 3 day stay - would recommend without hesitation.
Very pleasant, comfortable stay for the Christmas holidays. Breakfast was excellent.
Everything. The hostess,Joan. was outstanding!
