Breakfest was good
The beds were uncomfrtable, shower was small, no WI FI connection and we hardely got some steam.
Location is between two small towns and a bit off the road so is quiet at night. The nice little breakfast with scrambled eggs, breads cereal, fruit and juice/coffee is a plus!
Breakfast was great, so much to choose from, and tasted good...
Bed was as hard as a rock, did not sleep well, room had an unpleasant smell, the bathroom door would not close unless you slammed it...
There was supposed to be a hot tub on the grounds. We were not able to use this during our stay
The host Bert is friendly, joyful, and accommodating. Take the free breakfast option the food is excellent. He displays multiple culinary competition awards in the lobby area and once you taste his breakfast you'll know why. If you're looking for a clean room at a great price this is the place.
The grounds are lovely. The breakfast, from the owner-chef, extensive and delicious.
The room and bathroom were ugly and poorly furnished, with a mildew smell so strong that we had to sleep with all windows open even though it was a chilly night. The shower barely worked, the frig was so loud that we had to unplug it and the door to the room took a strong shove to open. The promised wifi failed to work in the rooms. After 9pm, the owner didn't respond to knocks at the office door and, beginning at check-in, was unpleasant and abrasive with expletive-laced conversation. Despite the excellent breakfast, we would neither return nor recommend.
breakfast was excellent place is really cute
Thank you Bert for being an excellent host during our visit to Arcady last weekend. Its not often that we come across an innkeeper/owner who takes personal interest in their customers and ensures they have a comfortable stay. Bert made us feel at home with his hospitality. Loved the breakfast. Pizza was one of the best I had. Breakfast conversations were interesting. Will surely visit Vermont again and stay at Arcady.
Great attention to detail. I am a coeliac and I couldn't have been treated with more care and consideration. The room was spacious and comfortable. It was great to have a small fridge. The swimming pool was wonderful to have in the hot weather.
There was nothing that we did not like.
Property was convenient to Manchester, room was clean, quiet and of a good size
Shower enclosure was moldy, and chose not to use. This property is hard to justify at $125.00 per night for a motel.
Location is less than a mile from Mt Equinox. Linens and bathroom were clean.
Room was damp and needed a deep cleaning (superficially it was fine). A slight musty oder.
It's a nice location and the owner was friendly. Provided nice complimentary breakfast.
The wi-fi didn't reach the room we had. The desk light didn't work. It was priced about the same as a very nice Holiday Inn room we had the next night with more amenities.
Welcoming owner, clean room, great location, beautiful grounds.
dated but a laid back clean motel/room, Burt who took care of us is hospitable and provided us with a decent breakfast quiet place and a short drive to Manchester Center, accepts pet with a fee
WiFi is poor,
Breakfast was very good with fresh fruit and scrambled eggs.
Convenient - good breakfast
Hard to find - not as pictured in advertisement - too high priced - expected much more from reviews and price.
Clean and good breakfast.
Slight fusty atmosphere.
Breakfast and the German man who ran the place very friendly and informative
clean and pet friendly, price was fair and room was pleasant.
Bert serves an excellent breakfast and was very helpful providing hiking info. We relaxed for one hour in the hottub outside and shared one of Berts tastefull pizza's. A good place to stay!
We liked the hot tub barrel...very unique idea! The owner and service was exceptional! The rooms were clean and pretty.
The king size bed mattress was uncomfortable. We both woke up with backaches.
