The manager was so sweet!
The cottage was clean and comfortable. Facilities were in good operating condition.
The Internet was very slow and there wasn't a maid service to clean the room or replenish coffe. Theres also no cosmetic kit in the room. Also, it's located next to a railroad track. The train isn't very loud.
The quit and privet setting of this location allows a traveler to feel like that they are right at home after a long days work. The anmenoties are comfortable and perfect for making a simple dinner. The best kept secret in Sacramento.
very clean, full of attention
the surroundings, the bathroom
this place is out of the way quiet...but easy to get to the interstate...
9 am checkout, found out later they are flexible if not too busy
Full kitchen and laundry on site. Was quiet neighborhood and nice tenants.
We felt like home at the cottage! Much better than a hotel and excellent value for money
The WIFI connection was slow at times
- Allows pets - Well maintained landscape - Friendly staff - Nice cottages - Laundry on site - Pretty quiet
- Excessive pet fees (non-refundable) - Weekly cleaning was pretty shoddy - Very slow internet that was inconsistent - Very bright street lamp shining in the bedroom window. Blinds not great for unit #7.
I enjoyed having kitchen facilties and a living room. Parking was easy, right in front of my unit. Wi-fi was easy to use and had a good signal for working purposes.
The location, while it was close to shopping, etc., it was not the greatest neighborhood. I did not feel unsafe in the area, it was gated and I probably would not go out after dark and drive in the area.
I was there for 2 weeks with my therapy dog to see my daughter in a nursing home. I was looking for a hotel with a kitchen and at least 3 stars. I ran across these cottages and liked the look and price. It was very comfortable ( much more than a hotel ) and if I needed anything additional, the staff was very accommodating. Glad I went there. Gated community, so I was comfortable walking the dog in the evening and early morning.
Location was central to every place we needed to go. It was quiet. Staff was great. We felt right at home
The price was amazing, far far better than even 1 or 2 star hotels for a week long stay. The cottage came with a fully equipped kitchen...even a gas stove! There was a porch with comfy chairs to sit on. Plenty of sitting room for myself and two other people. And run by very nice folks.
The front gate only had the address, not the name. So I drove past it the first time thinking I'd gone to the wrong place.
Love this place
Couch not comfortable
I like the roominess and not feeling cramped. Some amenities like a fridge. Being by myself it was okay. If I would of been traveling with someone not so much.
I didn't like the couch(it was kind of dirty and spotty). No new towels, soap, shampoo, or blow dryer. I had pre-paid for 8 days. The least they could of did was leave extra towels. They said they cleaned the place once every week without an extra charge. I was there for 8 days didn't see anything. The pillow fell off the bed and when I picked it up it was nasty. My place looked like nothing on their site. It says executive cottages, not so much. First time on Booking.com, maybe last. At least on the other site I usually use I know when it's a 3 star rating or above, I'm going to get something worth more than what I paid. I was really expecting more from the pictures I saw on the Booking.com site. Not sure the $100 I saved from another place was worth it...
The independent living accommodation. The woman that was at the office was extremely friendly
The location was very questionable. The unit was not as clean as it should be.
Loved having my own little place, more like home than a hotel room
independence, no neighbors
upholstery to be refreshed before every checkin, WiFi more high speed needed.
This is a really good deal and a nice place. You have a little cottage in a mobile park filled with well kept little cottages that seem rather new. It is gated so any concerns others have voiced about the neighborhood and trailer park across the street being less than desirable was not a concern. Their entrance is up the street and I never saw anyone go in or out. It is in an area that sells motorhomes so you do need to get in a car and go over the 80 freeway down El Camino to get to food and shopping. Minutes off the 80/99 freeway. The woman who runs the place is congenial and supplied with quarters for the on site laundry facility. We loved our stay here for two weeks while visiting family. Fairly quiet too with an occasional train sound off in the distance and no shared walls with neighbors. Bring or buy a sharp knife but other than that the kitchen is well stocked.
The uniqueness & privacy of each cottage, and the availability of the staff to meet our needs. The hot water comes on immediately, not wasting water that way, and making for a quick shower. Everything works well in these.
Even though there was a microwave, there were no cooking dishes , like Pyrex or others so cooking in microwave was impossibl- except for popcorn:)
Everything was excellent except there was no kettle or tea and milk supplied plus no hair dryer
Each unit was separate and no noise from neighboring units. Felt like a home away from home. Super clean and nicely decorated. Felt safe (gated area) even though it was in scary part of town.
Difficult to find comfortable temperature in the shower. It was either super hot or too cold. No body soap supplied...and we didn't have any with us. Next time we will remember to pack our own.
The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The units are little mobile cottages that have everything you could need for a stay of any length. They are situated in a small compound with easy access to retail and freeways. I'd definitely stay there again or recommend it to others.
The area is the only down side. It's industrial and there is nothing within walking distance. Contrary to other reviews, I did not feel threatened, but I also did not venture off the property after dark.
Very good staff and room
A little bit far from downtown
Privacy of being in seperate housing. Charming place
The surrounding area
