Pretty room, delicious breakfast. Nice deep bath. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Light from the hall coming in the transoms all night made it very difficult to sleep. Room was really tiny--was difficult even to find someplace to put my suitcase down (besides floor) and there was no desk, table, etc. Was difficult to use the shower nozzle to wash hair since there was no curtain and you couldn't stand up.

The staff was so friendly. Greeted us at the door. The resident innkeeper made us breakfast and then gave us a history of the inn.

Should have DVD movies to check out instead of just cable TV.

We liked that you could pick out your room on the website. We have stayed in a few Bed and Breakfasts on the East Coast and up in Northern Michigan. This compared very well with previous experiences.

Some problem occurred when we chose the August Room online. When we arrived in our room we knew it was not what we had chosen. The rooms were very different. We tried to switch rooms but were told others had selected their rooms online and couldn't be changed. And the house was full. However the next morning we found that at least 2 rooms were not used the previous night. So we were bumped accidentally or on purpose we don't know for sure.

The breakfast was very nice and the woman who was there serving was very informative. She gave us a nice history of the house and the family that built it.

After we looked at other available rooms, we decided we had the smallest, least attractive room in the house. When I booked the room, I was not given an option as to which room we reserved. We were disappointed at how small the room was. There was just one chair, so we both could not even sit down at the same time. Overall, we were disappointed in what we go for the price we paid.

Beautiful building, very friendly staff. All the rooms I saw were lovely.

Bed in the March room was a bit uncomfortable. Moved to January and slept much better. It's a solid 30 minute walk to downtown, so just be prepared. A fine stretch of the legs.

We loved the Mansion and we loved touring. We found rooms that we'd like to come back and stay in. We also loved the privacy and felt as if we where the only ones staying in the mansion, though we knew of at least 2 other couples. It was quiet and romantic and the staff where very friendly, especially because we're a gay couple and Utah is not known for being entirely accomedating for gay couples. We would love to go back.

The rooms where nice however our room wasn't completly clean. There was a dead fly on the floor in the bathroom and it was missing a few ceiling tiles. The rooms are cozy but they are "dated" and old; charming yet old. Also, I think we would have loved to know what floor the room was on prior to checking in. Had we known it was a basement room, I think we would have asked to change just because we're not huge fans of basements.

The staff was nice and friendly. The architecture was historically elegant. There were eateries in walking distance and the gas stations had good prices. Breakfast room was clean and tastefully set with lovely dish ware. We were glad they had an elevator.

Our bathroom only had a claw foot tub and we prefer showers. The queen bed was too big for the room and did not have enough space on each side of the bed for getting in and out. The wash basin was damaged underneath the bowl. Breakfast was okay with muffins, juice and 2 hot dishes of quiche and cobbler.
