Clean, nice staff, nice room
Location not as good as other downtown hotels. Price doesn't quite match up with ambience
The location was excellent. We walked to shopping and restaurants for every meal!
The towels were like cardboard. The air-conditioner was so loud, we couldn't run it. The ice machine was right outside our room and someone was always getting some. The pillows were flat as pancakes - even after asking for firmer ones. The bed was terrible, as well. The coffee was horrible, the lighting was cave-like. We paid $200 a night and felt like a $49 a night hotel. We would have changed hotels, but none had openings. I wish I would have read more on this hotel before booking it. I would have stayed outside of downtown and taken uber everywhere. It would have been better and cheaper. My back and neck still hurt a week later. Shall I go on???
The hot water did not work well. The warmth was barely there. So it was a cold shower. The bed skirt was dirty with many shoe markings from people rubbing up against it. Which makes me wonder how dirty the comforters could have really been. Lastly, I was surprised that there was no fridge or microwave.
Staff, Cleanliness, Complimentary water in room, Comfort of pillows and bed, Size of room, Complimentary Coffee, Proximity to downtown, Ability to email receipt, Value.
No complimentary breakfast.
The hotel is close to the downtown life of Asheville (bars, food, arts, etc.). The drive to Biltmore is very easy. I recommend staying here over the Biltmore side of town to be closer to the downtown activities.
The breakfast in the hotel is kind of pricey for the items served when the buffet is not available. A better option would be the numerous cafes a few blocks away.
Close walking distance to downtown!
Not enough security lighting.
Location services restaurant
Location and staff.
Room service needs to be extended until at least 10:30 AM You are a tourist town! All of the electrical outlets in our room would not hold a plug, they were completly worn out! Dangerous!
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless. The 45" TV had a fantastic picture. The only thing not supplied was a change of clothes.
Nice, clean hotel with good downtown location. Convenient parking.
The hotel is a few minutes from downtown so it is easy to walk everywhere. All the reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We had originally only booked for 2 days but extended our stay by another 2. Spacious rooms
Very nice folks help us out with everything
Having to leave sad faces
With a limited selection of affordable hotel rooms in Asheville, the Sheraton provides a quality place to stay at very reasonable rates. While it is not in the heart of downtown, there is no need to use your car to get around.
Within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Staff friendly and helpful with directions.
Hotel breakfast was mediocre. During the afternoon, a dog barking could be heard from the next room.
Odd smell in room
Excellent location, downtown and next to many excellent restaurants.
The staff was not particularly friendly and when they assigned my room and I went to the elevator I realized I had to go down, so it was somewhat below ground level (the property is on a hill). Not much light coming in and lots of noise.
The location was pretty much perfect for getting the most out of their active downtown.
bed and shower
the smelling of blanket
Location was walking distance to downtown attractions.
The hotel was undergoing renovations so doors that were to be secure we're propped open by painters. You could hear the conversations in other room from the bathroom. There was about a 1/2" gap between the floor & room door! Half the parking lot was roped off for a film crew leaving no parking spaces for guest! We ended up getting a refund from the hotel & moving to another hotel.
Walking distance to most downtown venues! The price was decent and a reasonably nice room!
One staff member uninformative about swimming facility and other options.
Proximity to downtown.
Poor renovation. Elevator was shut down for renovation 2nd day. Shower faucet is installed improperly. Food in restaurant is below standard. All together, not great. Won't be returning.
Food at the Chophouse was good
Remote didn't work. Called maintenance, the second remote didn't work. There were ants in the bathroom
Location was good and it was clean.
Front desk personnel acted as if they were doing you a favor by letting you pay to stay at Four Points. Rude and grumpy. No decent coffee available in morning without paying at their cafe which I found primitive.
Location, ease of check-in and check-out. Very quiet despite proximity to highway. Slept very well. Bathroom was extremely well lit, a rarity these days!
Musty odor in room, most likely the carpet.
