We came to visit family and to explore Bandelier National...
We came to visit family and to explore Bandelier National Monument and the Valles Caldera National Monument. Beautiful outdoor experiences. A lot of history in the area. Inexpensive downhill skiing/snowboarding and free x-country skiing/snowshoeing. Very safe town. Free public transportation. Visit the Bradbury Science Museum.

A GREAT spot for a day or two, but not a lot to do after you...
A GREAT spot for a day or two, but not a lot to do after you visit the visitor center and museums - which takes about a day. A few drives around the area (White Rock, Espanola, Taos, even Santa Fe), but not a lot happening in/around Los Alamos proper.

We stayed there because there were no vacancies in Jemez...
We stayed there because there were no vacancies in Jemez Springs. Location is good - close to Bandalier, Valles de Caldera. The town of Los Alamos was completely rolled up on the Saturday night we were there. NOTHING AT ALL open except for 2 breweries. No restaurants, bars, etc. And the one restaurant we went to was toxic. Never again.

The staff were fantastic, the room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed, breakfast was available and the location was perfect. Close to Bandelier National Monument, White Rock Overlook & Trail, Tsunkawi Dwellings & Trail, all the highways we needed to get to surrounding towns and sites. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the laundry facility was good. The continental breakfast was also good and offered a decent variety of things. The hotel is not exactly in Los Alamos but is in White Rock, which is nearby. It is located near the White Rock Visitors Center and is fairly close to Bandelier National Monument.
