breakfast very poor should be not offered as part of the room rate increase the quality ( and price ) or eliminate breakfast all toganther
Good service, easy access to Asian food.
No peephole and no security ledge on the room doors.
The bed was the the highlight.
Non smoking, bad customer service. No ammentities , no pool, no jacuzzi, limited channels on tv. Staff did not speak English. Rude staff as well.
Clean and comfortable.
Advertise as an airport hotel. Doesn't offer shuttle. Cost $35 for taxi ride from to LaGardia Airport.
Very confortable, good services, very clean environment and nice breakfast. With sure I will return!
Location near subway but far from city center Price is really ok for NewYork Free breakfast since it's free i wont talk about quality. But quality is ok, not bad,not very good either. Room is actually quite big
The room service.....sometimes i found my bed is dirty.......i don't know whether i dirted it or the room service didnt do their jobs well I once left a not ask for ice and they just put my note away back to orginal position....... Hotel at flushing main street which is a chinese area.....even though i am a chinese myself, i have to say that it's a bit chaotic and dirty.... And the shampoo&soap etc is like wtf. Chemical smell.....and feel so bad after using it.... Srsly, you dont have to save money to this extent right?....argh>.< Dont expect free wifi It is freaking slow, sometimes cant even open pages....
+ Cheaper accommodation compared to Manhattan areas + A lot of restaurants & markets around + Free wifi
- Lobby was very messy with many luggage around - Area wise feels like Little Chinatown
If you're visiting the city on your own dollar, not as a corporation expense, the value is terrific! The hotel is modern, clean, and within a short walk to the train that will take you anywhere in the city. The neighborhood is multi-ethnic and interesting, and wonderful Asian restaurants are less than a block away from the hotel. It is also a very short trip by train or cab to La Guardia Airport. We were treated very well by hotel staff and would definitely stay there again.
Price Staff Location. I prefer out of tourist trap and living in the area with local people. Nearby Chinese and other Oriental cuisine. The Flushing Main Street No 7 line is on Roosevelt a couple blocks walk (circa 10 minutes) Roos warm and beds very comfy. Relative proximus to JFK. Overall excellent place if you are wanting a hotel out of Manhattan and not nearly as expensive yet no compromise on your comfort and welll being.
I didn't stay in USA long enough.
- Wifi download speed was great. - 2 nights for $250 is a great deal compared to a lot of other places - very clean and sound proof - looks really nice. - Continental Breakfast
- Beds were a little hard. but you get what you pay for. - the receptionists were nice, but everyone else were jerks. - if youre new to NY like we were, know that Flushing, NY is basically china town; everyone and everything is Asian, its very hard to find food you like or get around this area because its all in a different language, and far from the main attractions (30min subway ride to Timesquare).
It was good
The subway station was nearby.
Breakfast was poor with no variety of food. The area was totally Asian and it smelled Asian food all the time.
The rooms were very clean and well put together. I liked the hardwood floors.
The breakfast buffet leaves a bit to be desired.
Staff serving breakfast was rood and sullen
Everything was fine, clean, neat, and easy to check in and out. The front desk staff was excellent.
The only issue I had was at breakfast. I was not allowed to take an orange & banana out of the breakfast room and they made me feel like I was stealing. I like to eat those items in the morning in my room. I did eat one piece of toast and 2 pastries along with coffee in the breakfast room.
Great location, service and value for money.
No refrigerator, microwave and storage for luggage upon checkout.
The room was clean and spacious. Easy to access to the subway.
Noise from the airplane.
Clean hotel, suite was roomy and modern.
Breakfast was average.
Location was good. Rooms are fairly clean and simple. Free Wifi is always good. Most staffs were friendly and knowledgeable.
I stayed here a few times in the past. It could be loud in the early mornings if stayed at lower floors. Walls are not sound proof. I could hear noises from next door and room right below my room.
The hotel and amenities were true to website.
There is not parking available linked to the hotel. The parking is a public parking lot around the corner or valet parking lot down the street for overnight. The parking garages are on a first come first serve basis for overnight.
The Junior Suit was very nice. The bathroom was very good.
I didn't like that the sheets on the bed were not changed every second day. I had to ask for the sheets to be changed. In the Junior Suit there should be at refrigerator so you do not have to ask for it.
Close to airport, attractive room, neat and clean, good towels.
Bed so hard my back muscle cramped. No black-out curtains, so bright daylight in room when the sun rose. Light so dim in bathroom that it was difficult to see to apply makeup. No clock; only 3 hangers; no full-length mirror.
Clean, friendly, easy access from JFK and La Guardia, and close to both the subway and Long Island Rail Road to commute into Manhattan. Would definitely stay again.
It didn't impact me particularly, but you can hear the planes from La Guardia. Breakfast is a self-service affair with mixed breads, pastries, and fruit, but it's all fresh.
