    Excellent bed, close to Waikiki beach and eateries, awesome views and great beds!

    Not very central, front desk staff not too friendly and room to small for 3 adults (even with the room upgrade)

    Location great, daily entertainment was a welcomed surprise, food in Tikis excellent, breakfast arrangement very easy. Would definitely recommend and return to this hotel. Across from the beach and bus stops.

    the long lines and wait at check in at 5. p.m. the only disapointment at this excellent hotel.

    Great location and better value than a number of other hotels with similar location.

    The breakfast set up is very disappointing. It made me uncomfortable that this breakfast was presented in such a poor way and the end result is so much rubbish! An area with huge room for improvement.

    Great location and fantastic weather made this a perfect family holiday - all 7 girls found the hotel and surrounds provided great opportunities to fill in sunny days and warm nights. Friendly staff made us feel very welcome

    On site laundry facilities would have been useful

    The location and the view were great. The rooms were okay.

    The continental breakfast was terrible and full of free loaders. I just wanted a muffin and some fruit. I had significantly better fruit (most importantly pineapple) when I got home to Connecticut! When I'm in Hawaii, I'm expecting the freshest fruit and it was horrible! I also did not find the staff to be particularly friendly, especially at the Tiki Grill.

    Loved the complimentary breakfast, usage of pool towels whether at the pool or beach, comfort of room and the Tiki Grill & Bar.

    Playstation as a DVD player. We never did get it to work properly. Bedside clock was difficult to operate.

    The cleanliness of the room was not great and the staff could have been a bit more helpful. The extra surprise charges weren't appreciated.

    location was excellent, easy access to my meeting, the beach and for a wide variety of restaurants

    the lack of comfortable chairs in the room, only one chair in the deck, the incredible amount of garbage and lack of recycling for the breakfast meal

    -Location is not bad, but not ideal either. -Ask for a room on the 25th floor and facing Waikiki beach side - it is a great view. -There is a Starbucks next door which was great. -There is a Wolfgang Pucks at the bottom of the hotel -Also a Subway at the bottom of the hotel. -There is a 24 hour fitness a block or two away for a real gym and they charge $69 for a week pass. The views from the 24hr fitness gym are inspiring. (the hotel gym does not offer much) -The hotel is across from a beach that is protected from waves which would be great for kids. -In addition there is a beach to the left of the hotel which was great to hang out, body surf, etc. -The room was clean and comfortable -Taxi are always available at the hotel -There is a convenience store at the bottom of the hotel

    The Hotel adds an additional $23/day "amenity" charge to the room - not really sure for what? That should just be quoted in the original booking price. The room I booked on Booking.com was not the room I received. They claimed it was a Booking.com issue and an issue I had to resolve through Booking.com. I booked a room requesting a King Bed and upon arrival they checked me into a room with two double beds. I immediately called the front desk and they said, there is no guarantee of what kind of room you will get, it is based upon availability when you check-in. Then the front desk clerk said I would have to check out in the morning the next day (before I head out to the beach or explore) and check back in at 3pm for them to move me to a room with a King Bed... This is not an ideal situation when you are flying half way around the world and fighting jet lag. Plus you have to re-pack, un-pack and have no access to a room for half a day... that's poor customer service... I have never experienced such a thing in all my hotel stays - especially if you are paying more than $260/night! They should just make the room available and allow you to move during the day when it is convenient. During my stay I met another couple who encountered the exact same problem. Draw your own conclusions... I wanted to change my plans and move to a different hotel due to the fact that I was not satisfied with my accommodation they said I had to contact Booking.com to check out and cancel the rest of my stay at that hotel. It was such a hassle. Due to the hassle of the situation I went online to Booking.com just to double check how I booked the room and realized the rate of my room upon arrival had dropped. If I had booked it through booking.com on the day I arrived the fare for the room was less than what I was paying. The front desk staff would not discount the difference and said it doesn't matter what the amount is that Booking.
