Location and very clean
Cheap on toiletries, didn't replace the used bar of soaps.
The hotel was in Austin, that is about the only thing going for it.
The wi-fi was terrible - and would drop you all the time. For a hotel with the AT&T name, you would think at least the AT&T network would have been reliable, but it wasn't. The burnt orange decor was too much for this aggie. Our room was small, outdated, not very clean, and noisy as they placed us right next to the elevator. We asked for a view of the bell tower, and got a view of a cement courtyard. The valet parking was odd, and when we arrived to had to go and find a bellhop.
Close to UT. Great Wifi, TV and bathroom. Excellent hotel.
Small rooms, Only one chair in the room so second Person has to sit on the bed Very thin walls - could hear neighbors conversations and they weren't yelling
The hotel was very nice and the location was perfect for a college visit. I would be nice if they either included parking or breakfast. The are close options for breakfast but for $200/night why not include parking?
the facilities were clean and friendly staff. It is a great place to stay for Longhorn fans as it is on the UT campus.
the wi-fi was intermittent service and the parking was confusing at first
Pool needs upgrade
their system did not have my reservations; had I not taken a copy of my confirmation room and rate would have been a different story. I also noted that my friends that did book using booking.com had a larger king room...
We loved the ambiance and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Loved the location and parking was pretty easy in garage. Beds were comfy & changed daily. Rooms were very clean.
Room smelled like sweat socks...bleh! Robes were dirty and torn. Room service waited way to long to pick up (other people's) dirty dishes left in hallways. Elevators were on the fritz. Wish there was an exhaust fan in the bathroom. No washer or dryer in hotel. Booked a capital or tower view, didn't get.
Good location and very nice hotel.
A little more expensive than it should have been, despite being very nice.
Very close to campus a feature for this trip.
Expensive parking, no on site coffee shop.
I didn't like how they don't let you know about additional charges get post on ur total bill as "deposits" that are later returned but still inconvenient. I also didn't like the price for parking. I feel the parking isn't so convenient for the price you pay. The tv in the room we stayed didn't work and no one ever came to check it. Even though we did call in for assistance.
The staff at the front desk where not very helpful and never had a smile on their faces.
One ice machine and vending machine on floor on other side of building,
Cleanliness and friendly staff
Small swimming pool. No buffet breakfast.
The proximity to campus is unparalleled. A beautiful monument to my alma mater.
Location was great. Rooms and facility were very modern and nice.
Price was too high. It was a nice hotel but probably not worth what we paid (over $200 per night after taxes, fees, parking, etc). **BEWARE**You will be charged an extra $18 PER DAY just for parking. They will not mention this to you ahead of time.
Very nice hotel with good amenities. Very helpful staff!
You could hear everyone talking and walking down the hall late at night. We were woken up multiple times especially on Saturday night.
The room and the décor of the hotel
having to go from hotel elevator to the parking garage elevator and as a retired 35 year dedicated employee of AT&T was told no employee discounts The pool needs to be updated to match the rest of the hotel decor
The hotel decor and furnishings were very nice. Like the UT theme.
The room was very small for the price. The bed was very uncomfortable. Did not get a good night's sleep at all.
The location, very clean, very friendly staff.
Room size. Parking is too much $18 per day give me a discount I self parked.
The building and facilities. Location is good if you have meetings in the campus. Close enough to several eating places. Friendly staff.
Getting to the lobby and the checkin is a bit confusing because there are elevators that do not serve some floors.
It was nice enough for the most part and the courtyard was pretty.
The bathroom had a sliding door that wouldn't even shut all the way and was extremely heavy to attempt to pull. For the price it would seem we could at least have a functional bathroom door. Nothing seemed very high quality. I've paid much less to stay in nicer hotels that had more amenities.
Location, facilities, cleanliness
Air condition a bit too high (too cold) in the common areas
Excellent meal and service at The Carillon; best Wi-fi access ever!
Please redesign the lighting and consider some noise reduction options. It sounded as if the other guests were in my room.
