Appreciate the chef's creativity, but really just want the option of traditional eggs benedict and other breakfast items.
Nice staff, timely resolution of problems, super comfy beds.
The door leading to the neighbor's room leaking a fair amount of noise (TV, ...).
The hall, the breakfast, the quality of the bed, the large choice of pillows, the view in the courtyard.
Greeting at front is great.
no bathtub..no diet soda in vending machine. .vending not marked. Shampoo and soap bottles to small. .
Location perfect for touring campus. Blow dryer and make up Mirror were nice.
We have no complaints.
Besides the great staff, the beds were so comfortable and the view of downtown was thrilling. All the shops below were staffed with courteous, friendly people.
Paying for parking the room is not cheap which is fine because it was worth the stay but if we are staying there as guest why should we have to pay for parking for choosing your hotel ? And 2 nd thing when arriving they asked for a credit card to have on file not once did they say it would be a 50.00 dollar charge I noticed because I checked my account luckily there was funds to cover it if not I would had a nsf .
The bed and the pillows extremely soft and comfortable , and a lot of towels did not have to ask for more thats a plus love love the bathroom and very spacious no smoke smell .
Everybody was so nice and helpful. A lady in the elevator helped us find our way down the right direction. A man in our hallway asked us if we needed help with a smile. There was staff everywhere, which made me feel very safe:) Even better, our check out time was 12.
I got a 2 drinks that was bad expiration date. I hate a flat soda.
It was very clean but one down fall
Pillows are too hard.
Breakfast was very good, but pricey.
Bed was very comfortable.
I didn't like the noise from the adjoining room. Why would the rooms be adjoined with only a door? The noise went on during the day, so I couldn't work or nap. Then at night starting at 11pm. I had to finally call the front desk at 1am and ask for help. Security was sent.....but I overslept and didn't get any rest.
I liked the location and the courtyard. The staff was friendly for the most part, but the outside staff never opened the door as I walked up with my hands full.
Since Austin is a pretty much college town, the hotel and area were pretty empty. Some of the hotel's restaurants were closed for the Christmas holiday, understandably, but they still kept two of their restaurants open and the food was delicious! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
The t.v. was difficult to operate and did not change channels or operate correctly.
Location & Cleanliness
This hotel it was overpriced. SHEETS NOT CHANGED & NO free coffee in the mornings. The coffee left in the room is NOT quality coffee. I was told I would be REIMBURSED FOR INCIDENTALS AND I HAVE NOT BEEN YET. Still waiting after 3 days.
Courteous staff. Location.
I didn't like the fact that the WiFi was terrible. I also didn't enjoy the room I was staying in (7070) was next to a cleaning equipment room, and I could hear them slam the door every morning/during the day. I could also hear the elevators.
How close to campus it was,and how clean it was.
i am an older (50-60ish) ethnic person, dress for comfort. i felt the staff was cold and i wonder if they treat everyone like this?
We absolutely loved the location! We came for a concert and were within walking distance from the venue. The staff was excellent and the convenience of the restaurant options downstairs were great! We will be staying here in the future.
There wasn't anything I didn't like.
The hotel lobby and entryways are very pretty. The rooms are beautiful and the bed was so comfortable-especially the pillows!
The bed and the noisy in-room fridge.
Bathrooms was a bit small and didnt have a lock
Location, amenities and cleanliness are all commendable
No cell service for verizon in the property. Go figure.
Breakfast is a disaster. Buffet is great, but service from seating to getting a cup of coffee of OJ appears to catch everyone by surprise. The staffing level seems ok but somehow I get the impression that the workers are all surprised that we want breakfast. this is in sharp contrast to dinner in the very same space, where the service is then impeccable. I have been here twice and the horrific breakfast experience was the same.
Room, Lobby and just about all the facilities
Perfect location for my activities. Comfortable and well kept facilities. Wonderful staff.
Food in cafe is not great. Bed and pillows were not comfortable.
Convenient, clean, good value.
