Nothing at all
We had great chats with hosts during breakfasts. They are very helpful and interesting people. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Tip you should try cheescake at Lava Rock Cafa while visiting Volcano Village.
Great stay, I was sad to leave! Excellent structure in a magnificent place! The owner Ray is a very special person! We are very happy.
I read this review in the sidebar, and all I need to is tweak it slightly... "The location, truly at the end of the road and in a clearing surrounded by jungle. We were warmly welcomed and given a beautifully decorated room with a comfortable bed and our own bathroom down the hall. Our hosts gave us excellent advice about where to eat dinner and in the morning, we had a wonderful breakfast and conversation." This perfectly describes our stay except we had the en-suite bathroom! Loved it.
Ray and Loni are wonderful hosts. Their home is beautiful. Their hospitality is warm and genuine. The location is phenomenal (literally right outside the entrance to Volcano National Park)
The owner is really nice The room is typical and very confortable The breakfast was good
everything..........eg hosts, breadfast and so on
Friendly hosts Lovely breakfast Quiet and comfy room Great location for volcano
The location, truly at the end of the road and in a clearing surrounded by jungle. We were warmly welcomed and given a beautifully decorated room with a comfortable bed and our own bathroom down the hall. Our hosts gave us excellent advice about where to eat dinner and in the morning, we had a wonderful breakfast and conversation. Our hostess knew I was gluten-free and baked a special bread just for me!
Nothing I can think of. It was great.
Great Breakfast - our host Ray couldn't have been more helpful. His suggestions of how to do some of the hikes really saved my knees. A beautiful place with very quiet surroundings -literally at the end of the road but only a short distance to the park (less than 5mi) so we returned after dark to see "the Glow"
Lani and Ray are the most gracious hosts. This is the third time we have stayed with them and we will stay with them again. Their home is beautiful, the breakfast is perfect and we also enjoy meeting their other guests.
Very nice house and the owners!!! they gave us an excellent service and more. They where very pleasant and gave us many information about Hawaii and Hawaiin people!!! We recommended this place, if you visit Volcanos National Park.
Everything!! Lani and his husband are amazing hosts. The house is beautiful, very quiet, located 5 minutes from Volcano National Park. Beautiful, very clean room, nice bed , the room has a very good size. Bathroom and toilets are very also very clean. They ask us to choose your breakfast: for me bagel, my husband waffles.... So yummy!!! They are so nice, gave us tips about lava flow. They also love france and talk french!! Thank you for everything
Nice, clean, Very friendly owner and close to vulcano NP.
Nothing really, payment by credit card would be more convenient.
Ray and Lani were very nice and accommodating. We really enjoyed our breakfast conversations, learning about the locals and about life in Hilo. This B&B is very close to Volcano National Park. Highly recommended!
It's a great location (approximately 10 minutes from Vocanoes National Park). The owners are very kind and full of local knowledge. You are made to feel incredibly welcome and comfortable.
Everything was great. Fabulous hosts, location, breakfast. Would definitely recommend
owners were very friendly
Would have appreciated more variety with breakfast. .
Very good welcome, we can feel like in our house. That's really a bed&breakfast like it's supposed to be. Recommended
all are good and very good experience, good stay.
feel like at home! Love the breadfast, love the enviorment.
Great location hear the Park, close enough for dinner at the new Volcano House Restaurant (not to be missed) overlooking the glowing caldera. Large--- almost huge---rooms; spotleslly clean everywhere; quality & comfortable furniture with cushy couches in the gueswt livingroom. Excellent mattresses & I loved the alcove bed in the room with the en suite & queen bed. Plenty for breakfast with secons on good offee, English muffin toast, juice & papaya. Lani is a friendly hostess! Artistically furnished & decorated. Solo guests would be very comfortable; not suitable in my opinion for young children.
Probably my error but I did not realize the facility is smoke free and no liquor so didn't use the wine & cheese we brought with us. Guests should check house rules ahead of time so they can be respectful & comply, without stress.
Everything was absolutely Wonderful. The location could not be better if you want to visit the National Park. The local restaurants are outstanding. Lani is a wonderful host and is always willing to give you information about the area. We give it 5 stars!
Magnificent b&B. Its owners couldn´t be more friendly, lovely house, hospitality and breakfast! I strongly recommend it.
