It had easy access.
Staff attitude. Staff was rude.
Location to my event.
They allowed to much drinking and partying on premise. I was not comfortable with the situation. It was very loud.
area that has no foods as fast food
Nothing to complain about great location to down town beds were comfy room was clean. Just your ordinary Hotel. Definitely would stay here again.
The Price gouging for football games, and they make you book the whole weekend not just one day.
Nothing it's a dump
Close to downtown Athens.
The staff was rude. They never wanted to give towels or the 1 run down iron they had. Could barely understand them. Only stay if you purely need somewhere to sleep. The back area is full with sketchy people.
They don't even clean your room, the shower didn't even have the regular handles and seemed to be "jimmy rigged" so you could turn the water on
Nothing, slept in the car.
Unfriendly, charged me even though I didn't stay the second night. Room was disgusting.
comfy beds nice showers i got my monies worth
first room i got there was someone in it that told us they'd be out in 2 minutes when we went to the front office i told the clerk that someone was in the room already and she put us in a new room .. when unloading the vehicle the guy found us and made a point to let us know he had a master key to the hotel and to please not say anything to the clerk. we didn't have heating or air in the room so they gave us a space heater the towels were tiny the sheets had burn holes the toilet had pee and pubes all over them
Cheapest place in Athens. Not bad. 2 miles to downtown & university. Nice bed.
Old carpet. Some traffic noise.
It is within walking distance to downtown Athens, GA.
Close to downtown Athens.
Filthy, nasty. I wouldn't let my dog sleep there. Went for a UGA football game, and it was the only property available. So unsavory that we drove to Atlanta at 2 am rather than spending the night.
The people were nice and very accommodating.
The facility was clean, but old. Not as conveniently located as other hotels in the area.
Front desk was very rude. I had to call housekeeping and ask if they could come and clean my room. No clean towels, and hotel had alot of prostitution and drug addicts.
Easy to locate Price
Non-smoking room with cigarette burn holes in bedding Bathroom plumbing (shower) inoperable You DON'T get what you pay for
They had brand new mattress and bed was comfortable.....Staff was friendly. The reviews on here are over the top...it wasn't that bad.
You have to think outside the box....when you drive up, it kind of reminds you of Bate's Motel..... Could definitely use a facelift...property a bit run down. But with that being said, we wanted to support a local business.
We were tired and it had a bed.
Although Booking.com said there was only one room left, when we arrived late there was only one other car in the parking lot. A place like this would be allowed on Booking.com. The sheets did not appear fresh. The sign with lights in it was unlit, leading to the the feeling it was a very run-down dilapidated place. The price we paid was nearly double what I would expect for this level of accommodation. The front desk was behind bullet-proof glass, leading to the feeling that the place was unsafe. We stayed because my sister-in-law said the University of Georgia recommended it to families visiting their children. Creepy! Most uncomfortable I have been in a motel/hotel. Booking.com did not make it clear whether I would owe anything if I didn't take the room.
Cheap. Close to campus, sort of.
Found an empty vodka bottle under the bed, no tissues, yucky grout. I called because the fire alarm was beeping because it was running out of battery. The first time I called the lady hung up on me. The second time she said she'd be right there. After waiting two hours, I pulled the fire alarm off the wall and took the battery out, and left a note for the house keeper (if there was one). I stayed several nights and no one ever took it or replaced the battery.
The price per night. Still felt like it was overpriced.
Rooms were not nice , beds not restful , bath rooms not good shower not working well, face cloths and towels were dingy and not white , they were old and brownish.
nothing the place is a Dump
The bathroom door did not close, there was no lock on the main door to keep anyone with a key out (we had the bolt locked under the door handle, but housekeeping was still able to walk right in). We nearly had to beg for towels every day. I asked for a different room, because of the doors, and they said there weren't any more available, but as soon as I told them I was checking out early, they offered me a different room.
I have stayed at many places around the world and I can officially certify that this is the MOST WORST place I have ever stayed in. I cant even say it is third world, it should be fourth world
