Location and Free Wi-Fi I reserved this hotel only due to its location and that was my mistake, thanks to a free Wi-Fi I made a booking of another hotel in this area without paying for the internet access. That was the worse hotel I stayed for the past 7 years. Check in took about 30 minutes and that was at 10 pm. The room is old, has bad furniture, bathroom was dirty and they definitely need to replace the carpet and make a renovation.. The walls are very thin and we have heard everything that was happening in hall and nearby rooms. The weather was windy and outside some metallic stick was scratching our window and making a loud noise. It was impossible to sleep half of the night. When I came to the reception and asked them for a plug adapter, they charged me 6 dollars for this piece of plastic, while in other hotels it was given free of charge and in the end they charged me 2 dollars for the safebox, which I even did not use and it was absolutely impossible to argue about that with the personnel, they were very rude. And I was not the only one who was not warned about the 2 dollar safe charge, for two more couples that was also a check-out surprise. Parking cost is 20 per night. I have never seen such a greedy hotel in my life. By the way this hotel is privately owned by some company called Sokolov ltd and is operated under the logo of Best Western. This hotel is making a bad reputation for the Best Western hotels chain.

The consiegere was wonderful, helpful and the only one that we were in contact with who knew anything about customer service... The personal didn't know anything about customer service. It seemed like no one could take a decision without a supervisor being present.

Friendly and effecient staff. Nice location We found the hotel a little old (needs renovation) Beds in our room need replacing. Walls are a bit thin, as noise level from adjacent rooms filters easily into room. Bathrooms need expansion as toilet area is too cramped. For the size of the hotel, the pool needs to be bigger and as we saw many kids at the hotel during our stay, their needs to be more activities for kids on offer.

Excellent location (to airport, beach, Miami Beach/South Beach, Miami downtown and to other places with car (Key Biscane, Key West, many sightseeings and shopping malls...). I was satisfied for very many hotel services (reception, room, breakfast and dinner, pool, exercise room...). Our baggage delayed in connection flight and hotel helped us to bring it from airport. Thank you very much about all.

The location was ok. Easy access to beach. Customer service was inpolite. Room was moist and air condition did not work properly. There was lot of shouting of the other customers at night. Hotel needs renovation. The room was expensive compared to the overall quality.

Service was good overall. Really appreciated the restaurant service most. Common areas and rooms were clearly quite old. Could use a bit of redecorating. Paint, carpet, light fixtures etc. Hallway carpet on the ph floor smelled like bubblegum.

modern hotel, splendid located at the coast. it's worth to book a room with a sea view. within 10 min and less then $10 for a taxi in South beach. quiet area, car can be parked a block further towards the "channel" side. Lot of small shops such as subway- like in the surroundings because of the late check-in after 16.00, all the new guest have to be processed in a couple of hours, creating huge queues.

Hotel location The hotel is in a misirable condition. Rooms are old and not clean. Tv is out of order. Drawers are broken. Bad smell and insects in the room we kept scraching all our stay. We suffered during five days stay in this hotel because we could not get our money back and leave. Also our room was placed in front of an ice maker machine and could not sleep until very late at night because of people coming to take ice. Strange people coming also knowking at our door late night at we called the reception to complain but without result. This is an extremly bad experiance and I will never stay in this hotel again.

The only two thinks we liked in this hotel the lady in reception and her name not sure is merycale and thelocation almost dood as was so close to the beach. 1- the porter. No body helping you with the luggage 2- there was a guy in the reception was so rude 3- on the departure they let me pay the charge for the save deposit box and I didn't use it and no one told us about that. 4- they let me pay the phone charge and I used a paid phone card using the 1-800 number.. 5- noisy as you can hear the people in the other rooms clearly. 6- the tv in the room was very old, the modle 10 years ago 7- no free internet in lobby, so you have to pay for that.

The photos are deceiving, the place was so run down old and things didnt work. The price wasnt cheap for what we received. The only good things were the view from the balcony and that the hotel had free wifi The laundry dryer was coin operated and didnt work well. The rooms were very small and run down, bathroom so tiny and no fan in bathroom. The hotel needs some major renovations. The pool area is tiny and dated

My room didn't have hot water in the shower and it wasn't working for a couple days. Maintenance confirmed there's been a problem and they gave me a free upgrade to the ocean side/balcony view. You get what you pay for, which is the room. Parking/breakfast is not included (parking is $22/day and breakfast was $13/person).

We were greeted warmly by the concierge as well as the front desk staff. Check-in was for 4pm, but we arrived at 12:30. They checked our bags for us and gave us a key so we could use the pool and the beach while we waited. I had to speak to someone 4 times before they fixed our phone. We gave up on getting the toilet fixed after 3 tries and just left the lid on towels in the tub so we could fix it ourselves each time we flushed.

The bar staff were fantastic. And the front desk management went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied with our stay. What I didnt like about our stay was everyday we had to ask for towels , forget about getting face cloths. And the other was when we first checked in the room we ordered was not there to get so we stayed in one room the first night then we were given the room we asked for.we ordered ocean front and was given ocean view..

“The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. We actually got to check in before the 3:00pm time. The beach is located about 2 blocks behind the hotel easily accessable. The hotel was centrally located for what we wanted which was in a safe area for shopping, dining, and watching the sites up and down collins st. It is and older hotel not a lot of bells but lots of whistling. We stayed only one night, pre-cruise stop. The hotel was clean and a great area of Southbeach. ” Lillie, La Mesa Ca |
