Best Western Atlantic Beach Resort  

Location and Free Wi-Fi I reserved this hotel only due to its location and that was my mistake, thanks to a free Wi-Fi I made a booking of another hotel in this area without paying for the internet access.

That was the worse hotel I stayed for the past 7 years. Check in took about 30 minutes and that was at 10 pm. The room is old, has bad furniture, bathroom was dirty and they definitely need to replace the carpet and make a renovation.. The walls are very thin and we have heard everything that was happening in hall and nearby rooms. The weather was windy and outside some metallic stick was scratching our window and making a loud noise. It was impossible to sleep half of the night. When I came to the reception and asked them for a plug adapter, they charged me 6 dollars for this piece of plastic, while in other hotels it was given free of charge and in the end they charged me 2 dollars for the safebox, which I even did not use and it was absolutely impossible to argue about that with the personnel, they were very rude. And I was not the only one who was not warned about the 2 dollar safe charge, for two more couples that was also a check-out surprise. Parking cost is 20 per night. I have never seen such a greedy hotel in my life. By the way this hotel is privately owned by some company called Sokolov ltd and is operated under the logo of Best Western. This hotel is making a bad reputation for the Best Western hotels chain.

Parking, the Parking garage would not accept the validation form the hotel and charged us $30 instead or $25. They were nasty and would not change as they said only the Manager could do that and of course he was nt there.

Check in time at 4pm is not guaranteed... They say from 4pm and I did not get my room before 4.40pm

There are some chances of finding a good parking space without paying much, which is quite a good benefit for that area!

The ocean view room means partly ocean view. Half of the window was only high buildings. If you want a complete ocean-view, you should order an ocean front-view room.

Near the beach with good prices.

The staff are not helpfull, when we first arrived at the hotel the recepcionist didn't give any information. The hotel is in fornt of the beach, but there is no many choices for eating or shopping around.. The charge for the safe box in the room.

It was right on the miami beach with excellent view.

Need to re-model the hotel. Carpets certanly need to be changed. Bed was not comfortable. Need to re-pain the wall.

-The male bartender was very friendly and gave us a great service! -The view to the ocean was awesome -We arrived to the hotel earlier than our check in time, and they were able to make a room available to us immediately.

-The cleanning lady forgot to leave towels in our bathroom one day. - After coming back from the beach one day, we found the "do not disturb" sign on our door which we did not put there( ended up with 2 of those signs), therefore our bedroom was not cleaned that day. - The pool was extremely dirty for a couple of days.

Situated on the beach, the location is nice, but far from SoBe where everything happen. Correct room, could me more clean. Our room with 2 double beds had a good size, even with 4 persons. It's nice to have the beach towel provided.

Check in and check out took ages, and I really mean it. They took around 20 minutes each time even if our reservation was more than standard. You have to pay if you want an umbrella and a seat on the beach. Parking in the hotel is really small (not more than 20 places available)...
