We had excellent customer service while we was there. I had booked during a busy weekend and the room I booked got double booked. We got a upgraded room for same price. Read reviews that said negative things about the complimentary breakfast while we stayed there it was a nice spread. We stayed there 2 nights. The room we stayed in was clean.
Well I don't have anything to say about our stay. Our friend ended up staying on the fold out couch. Would have been better to just sleeping on it as a couch.
The staff were great
The beds were way past there prime by being broke down into a pocket.
The place was charming, and easy to find.
The room smelled like stale cigarette smoke. Carpet looked very worn, not one you would want to walk on in your bare feet. We bought candles and Lavender Spritz, which helped for the second night. Bed VERY soft. Wasn't too sure about the water, looked rusty. Don't think we'd stay there again. :(
Very comfortable bed, clean room, decor a bit dated, but nice friendly staff, easy to find, lots of parking
Could not get wifi at all. We arrived late and discovered the hotel restaurant was closed down and we would have had to drive a distance to nearest restaurants so bought snacks at Safeway & dined in room. Continential breakfast so-so.
A little slow getting checked in but otherwise everything went fine.
Convenient location, good price and the room roomy and comfortable. The staff was very helpful.
I didn't find anything that I didn't like.
We chose this hotel because it was very charming. The staff was great, the room was comfortable and they were very accomodating with my service dog.
Comfortable room and excellent continental breakfast.
Staff should park their private vehicles elsewhere and leave the spaces in front of the ground floor rooms for guests.
The furniture and decor were dated and worn.
Morning breakfast and staff friendly
Room a bit musty smell we opened window and either got used to the smell or or went away
Price was very good for what we wanted.
Rooms are small and could use some up-dating
proximity to scenic attractions
breakfast, both lacking in variety and freshness of Danish.
We stayed here one night for our 1st year anniversary. From the reviews I read I wasn't expecting anything fancy. I would recommend this is place to someone who is on a budget and is open minded. The bed was ok, room.was a little small for a suite, my favorite part was the jet tub.
This is a lovely place. The room was very clean, comfortable beds & the antique furniture & framed pictures were impressive. The staff was wonderful & gladly changed us from upstairs to a room on the main floor. The breakfast was plentiful & we enjoyed it. We will definitely stay there again.
Only real drawback is that they had no ice machine. Well. there is a mini mart across the street so no problem getting ice. A minor inconvenience.
Good location. Good price. Interesting theme.
Room was kind of cramped for 4 people.
Auld Holland Inn was charming, the staff was amazingly wonderful, and the location was great. The room was very comfortable.
The mattress in Room 103 is terrible. It sags toward the middle and it felt like we were sleeping downhill. In the middle of the night, we put our heads at the foot of the bed and that helped a little. The mattress probably should have been replaced three or four years ago. This is absolutely our only complaint about Auld Holland Inn. Everything else was great.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice.
It was right next to the highway.
HBO on demand keep going off after about an hour , other than that it was great!!!
liked the Dutch look of the place and the rooms were charming
where to put my bicycle
Pleasant staff. Pretty exterior and high hopes with renovations - should be great.
No quibbles at all. I'd stay there again in a second. Great experience.
Bed & mattress were comfortable for a good nights sleep. Maid service was good.
No elevator so ask in advance for a first floor room if you have difficulty navigating stairs. Guests are mostly workers with trade vehicles. Bathroom floor could have been cleaned more frequently.
Nice room and jetted tub
Tv wouldn't turn off completely. Not much of a continental breakfast.
The price was affordable, relative to the other accommodations in town.
The WI-FI was not really usable within the hotel room. When I questioned it, management said "that's just the way it is on the island" but I've been to other hotels on the island and did no have this problem. I had to use my laptop in the office to get any connection.
Location and experience
Breakfast is pretty weak
