There was a noise during the night like an animal gnawing around or inside window frame. We notified the front desk.
This is one of the best places I have ever stayed in. This place is like a retreat, so quiet and loved the greenery all around. The dining and front desk staff were so helpful and friendly. Very professional. Also loved the fact that they were very environmentally friendly. Definitely would recommend this place to family and friends.
- Nice setting with vegetation in a quiet location - Very comfortable king size bed with firm mattress and numerous good pillows - Wide space in bedroom plus a comfortable living room with enough furniture - Good choice of breakfast included in price - Outstanding welcoming staff, specially in breakfast area
- Hot water takes time to come - Shower lacks pressure - Plumbing needs upgrade
it´s a real apartment with kitchen. Very big. Nice place to stay for more than a week. the breakfast is O.K. All in all a good price performance. I can rcommend it. Metro rail station is close. So you can have a ride to the city by train within 15 minutes.
the apartments on the eastside are quite noisy during the night, due to the close highway. And on weekends, there´s a discothek close. You hear the sound till 1 or 2 in the morning, cause windows are untight. But as I complaigned the next morning, they apologized and I got a new room, which was heading to the courtyard and quiet.
We liked everything. We travel extensively within America, Europe and the Middle East. I would call the Habitat Suites, 'Happiness Hotel'.
Staff were so courteous & professional. Location was super.
Staff was very friendly and helpful, felt like home, they checked me early because of my kids. Breakfast was delicious, bed was comfortable, location was perfect
Clean & quiet, Large suite w/ full kitchen, Green property, lots of trees & flowers, great staff
Not walking distance to many restaurants
We were looking forward to great morning buffet you used to have. It's been over a year. It's not the same any more and we were disappointed.
Location was fine. Price was good.
Room was very outdated. Faucets didn't work and it was very difficult to control the water temperature in the shower. Needs a major update.
Excellent staff and room
I absolutely loved it, it has a very good energy in the area lush green plants all over the hotel and just such a tranquil stay, I will be staying in this hotel every single time I come to Austin guaranteed :)
I sense a problem in staff relations. Management control Dining area staff unprofessional and unhappy. Facilities could stand an update!
Unable to locate Habitat. Called 3 times for directions to front deck.. No luck in finding. Asked 4 people for directions including a policeman. No luck in finding the place. We shouldn't have to pay if we couldn't find the place.
I liked the seclusion of the hotel and all of the sounding trees. It felt very secluded from the busy surroundings. Good place to stay.
Beds were not very good. Shower was very awkward to navigate hot and cold water and the shower head was to low considering the extra amount of head space available in the shower?
The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Nice place to stay and very clean. Will be staying here again.
Pillows were a bit hard but OK
The suite was a good size for my wife and I and our son and his wife. The breakfast was excellent with many selections. The older black lady that ran the operation was very friendly. She did an excellent job of getting patrons taken care of by the chefs and staff.
Faucets dripped in room and could not be stopped. Wallpaper loose in places. The steps to 3202 were not very well lighted. The last step to the landing and the second floor was at least three inches greater than the distance of all other steps. This is not up to Code and will caused an injury due to mistep some day. Seriously, even some steps were not horizontal and had shifted on one end lower by as much as one inch. Lower outside railing has too much "give" and appears to be weakening due to exposure.
The outward appearance of the property was quite pretty with much vegetation, a friendly cat, and a beautiful guesthouse with pool. We noticed solar panels in the roof of the property and a small plant in the room. The staff was friendly and attentive.
Although, the outward appearance of the property is quite inviting; stepping inside is a different story. The rooms were a mixed match of 80s hotel furniture, updated pieces and "earthy" pictures crookedly hung throughout the room. Additionally, the kitchen appliances, circa 1980s, were old and beaten up as well as the formica countertops that were melted from hot pans and a stained linoleum floor. The bathroom featured peeling wallpaper, cracked floor tiles and several cigarette burns around the sink. Although the rooms seemed clean, the poor maintenance suggested otherwise and made for an uncomfortable stay. Lastly, although the night manager was prompt in rectifying the situation we were kept awake until 1:45 AM with loud bass coming from another unit/car on the property. The property misleadingly boosts a sustainable culture; how energy-inefficient appliances, and manufactured decor as well as a 6 inch plant qualify for sustainability is baffling. Upon check-out the staff offered a free night, however, this attempt to compensate for the situation seemed minimal given that we live in Manhattan and will most certainly not stay again.
Happy hour and breakfast well done
Noisy second night due to a nearby nightclub band that played until 2:00 AM. Very restrictive rules
Nice facility, cozy suite, good complimentary breakfast and "happy time" snacks.
Lethargic staff. Some are very good, others don't seem to care.
The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was excellent.
Location is hard to find.
The hotel was a great find, the grounds were beautiful , rooms were clean and spacious. Loved it!
Nice affordable place with very helpful staff and nice accommodations.
Kind of a hidden location from I 35 but no big deal. Close enough to downtown Austin if you want to save money.
Clean, tidy, well equipped, and friendly helpful staff
