Great sized unit, with separate bedroom. Nice grounds. Breakfast and evening drinks were very good.
Quite a long way out of town. Hard to find and nothing nearby except an abandoned Mall. Units need redecorating-peeling wallpaper and old furniture make the place look iuncared for.
Free parking. Inexpensive. Large rooms and kitchen.
Very old. Location was poor. In a downtrodden neighborhood and hard to find. Though on Airport Road, it was miles from the airport and lots of traffic made it difficult to get to places.
We chose Habatat Suites based on ratings, price, location, we were pleased overall. The suite was spacious and comfortable. The suite does need updating, furniture was pretty well worn out and the bathroom needed a redo. For the money a good deal.
Mold in shower area, sofa and chair worn out.
The place was clean when I first arrived. I liked all the lighting options in the kitchen (a little thing, but fluorescents give me a headache). Staff was friendly and professional, check in was easy. Breakfast buffet was pretty well stocked. I liked that they had vegetarian breakfast patties and vegan options like oat groats and fruit. Overall, I would definitely come back...just not around Halloween.
There was a haunted house right next door, so screams and thumping and super loud music happened pretty much from 9 pm to 1 am. Maybe only a problem around October? Watch the outside stairs - mine were severely uneven and dangerous. Shower temp only ever hit 'lukewarm' for me, where the bathroom and kitchen sinks had a 'scald' setting.
The grounds were secluded and beautifully landscaped. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. Everything was well equipped, furnished nicely and comfortable.
The location's a bit out of the way, but with a rental car it was still ok.
Roomy, friendly, excellent breakfast.
Room a bit dark.
Habitat Suites delivered great value in a city ( Austin) of overpriced hotels. It was quiet, clean and comfortable.
Room furnishings were a little tired and drab.
Organic breakfast, trees and all plants, swimming pool, big room with a kitchen
Quiet atmosphere. Happy hour.
Coffee maker did not work.
It was a little bit further from down town than I would have liked, but that made it nice and quiet. The grounds were well kept and beautiful.
The kitchen appliances need an update but to be fair they work fine. The sofa was to small for laying down. Don't count on the sofa for a guest bed.
The suite was very nice for us. We were close to I-35, making it easy to get around the city.
The breakfast staff was always complaining about how many guests there were and commenting on how much everyone was eating. The air was not working in the reception room and the staff kept telling all the guest very loudly that they were not going to be able to sufficiently cook for everyone because it was too hot for them in the kitchen. It was mostly awkward.
Very comfortable, friendly staff. Roomy, good value. Nice and quiet
It was kind of out of the way. The surrounding area wasn't very nice
Love all the fruit trees. Great location. Marty in the dining area was wonderful. Great happy hour n breakfast. Friendly atomosphere.
Clean and spacious. Friendly staff. Good price.
Breakfast was terrible if you are not super health conscious. Mosquitoes.
Roomy. and quiet.
Not enough bath towels and wash clothes.
This works for me every time I want to come to Austin. It is quaint quiet and very lovely each time we are there. All the needs I have are met. Thank you so much for having such a wonderful place to come and use when we visit.
Freezer wasn't working
Being a suite it was three times larger than a hotel room, so I didn't feel cramped. I was able to separate the sleeping area from where I worked, which is very useful. The in-room (and free) Wi-Fi was fantastic. The signal strength was consistently 5/5 and fast - Hotels need to learn from this
I couldn't figure out how to adjust the shower temperature. This was not really a problem as the setting was perfect as it was
The friendly staff, is exceptional. The comfort, cleanliness and ease of getting to public transport, makes it my favorite Austin stay. Coffee snobs should not travel, else they rate their stay somewhat based on coffee, but their selection of local and organic coffee was so good, I ordered more for home. The classy breakfast and happy hour setting complete with a hard working, happy staff, made me feel like a kid again, being taken care of.
The pool was great.
The location is unsafe. My car was attempted to be broken into while in their parking lot. My trunk lock was broken and damaged. The surrounding area was desserted, closed mall, etc. The breakfast quality was poor. There was not any fruit.
Every thing great
My husband and I were on a long weekend trip to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and we truly couldn't find ANYTHING negative to say about our stay at Habitat Suites. We both truly enjoyed the stay and felt that it was a great value.I have already recommended Habitat Suites to several people! We will definitely be coming back during our next visit to Austin! Thank you for the great hospitality and value! :)
our stay at your hotel was more than we expected with reguard to comfort and quailty.
the only dislike, if you can call it that was the parking area. but we didn't stay in the parking area so that's not going to keep us from booking another stay at your hotel
Everything was fantastic. It's cozy, comfortable and relaxing. I don't understand why I read negative feedback. Perhaps those people don't travel much? Keep up the excellent work!
