Great value for the location and facilities. Staff was excellent, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. Strongly recommend Avalon to all my family and friends.

Breakfast was about what one would expect from the standard continental breakfast. Expect better from a bed and breakfast.

The hotel was pretty, clean, and comfortable. The rooms were large for a B & B. Breakfast was very good and served on the front porch which was perfect. We would bookaain.

The location was a little far down Duval St for us as our daughter stayed at he other end. However,the bikes we rented across the st. and it was so much fun!!!!

The Avalon is a Beautiful B&B, and the staff is professional and top notch.

Lovely!! The B&B was the perfect location for our stay in Key West: Friendly staff, a clean and cute room, good continental breakfast outside and located close to everything but not in the crazy center of kw. We loved it!

The Avalon is a lovely B&B on the quiet end of Duval, or at least as quiet as it ever gets in Key West. We went for a relaxing long weekend with relatives. There is no bar on the premises, but Pearls B&B is just around the corner with a fairly lively and eclectic clientele. The breakfast, served on the front porch area, was ok - no hot dishes, but a nice mix of fruit, cereal, yogurt, some sliced meat and cheese, etc. If you've there for a few day and want transportation, there's a bike and electric vehicle (think gold cart style) rental place right across the street.

Very comfortable, peaceful, clean, staff was very attentive and helpful.

Yvonne went out of her way to help us with sunset booking; the staff is friendly and helpful. We liked the spacious bathroom/shower and the netted bed, plenty of closet and drawer space. The full breakfast served on the quaint front porch right on Duval St. made for a glorious start to the morning; great people watching spot. The cookies and lemonade in afternoon is a nice touch. Private parking within short walking distance.

The noisy a/c in room, however then found that the remote had a sleep setting that quieted it down. It worked well. It is hard to say that there was anything to dislike about this charming B&B.

The Reception staff were very helpful and friendly, the breakfast buffet tasty and varied, and the place is well located.

For the price charged, the room was very small with nowhere to sit other than on the bed and nowhere to hang clothes except on a hook on the door.

The staff were very friendly, cheerful and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable; WiFi worked well; AC was efficient; breakfast was fresh and plentiful. There was tea and coffee available at all times, as well as a basket of fruit.

There were no chairs in our room. I would prefer a desk also.

Was a cute and comfy (and clean!) place to stay! The staff was very friendly. The location is within a mile (walking distance) to everything! Enjoyed my stay very much! The pool was a little small, but we didn't care much about going swimming. Overall, no complaints and would definitely stay there again!

I wished the breakfast was a little more than just bagels/english muffins and fruit and yogurt. If you're a light breakfast eater, then no problem. But I like a real breakfast in the morning, especially for the price you pay. They do put out a sweet snack in the afternoon though, and that was nice.

Room was adequate but very small. Need a shelf or something in shower as there was not anyplace to put shampoo etc but on the floor Wine and cheese would have been nice around 5!

Our room was small, but we had everything we needed and more. They greeted us with a smile and were full of information on things to do, places to eat, and sights to see. I mentioned that we were celebrating an anniversary, and they went above and beyond to make our room special.

Air conditioner was very loud.

Best B&B in Key West

The staff was very helpful. One of the staff members helped me look for a house in Key West and she gave me a lot of honest and helpful information about buying a house in the area.

It was a bit expensive, but I do believe that was a product of the location and the holiday weekend.

Comfortable. Included, buffet breakfast was excellent. Staff warm, helpful. We absolutely would stay again. It is a typical B&B.
