Alexandra at reception couldn't do enough for us made our stay one to remember. Thank you Alex
Loved the atmosphere and decor of the Hotel ..the bed was super comfy and the bathroom was very nice
This hotel had a very lively happy hour/dinner crowd. If you are looking for a 60s style motel built very closely around a pool with small poolside cabanas with couches you may like it.
I was traveling alone and don't really like rooms that open to the outdoors. Was a nice clean place. Restaurant was good. Bed was a little lumpy and firm.
The room was very nicely decorated, clean and relatively spacious. The hotel is relatively close to the Beverly Hills' centre and you can walk to the centre.
There was no complimentary coffee in the rooms neither a kettle to at least prepare your own coffee.
The hotel was a short walk from the sightseeing bus. The area was beautiful and we felt very safe. The staff were very helpful. I would recommend this hotel rather than a hotel downtown. I would stay at this hotel again.
The hotel is not one building, it gives you the feeling that you are in a room in an apartment block, but we were lucky because our view was the pool, so it was mainly the entrance to the room that gave you that feeling.
Staff were amazingly friendly. Quiet and comfortable
The escalator was broken down.
Great location, nice hotel.
The staff was very attentive and added to the European flare of the hotel. Allen, the manager was very helpful with insight into local places to go and what to see. The dinner staff was very attentive with the drinks and the rearrangement of the seating necessary to accommodate the guests. The rooms an pool area were immaculately clean and the food from breakfast through dinner which we ate sometimes at 10:30 pm was great.
That we had to leave.
Had a pleasant stay at Avalon. Staff was very friendly. Room very spacious, comfy and clean.
Expensive valet parking ($31 per day). Bathroom door could not be locked.
Location, size, convenience.
Sound from adjoining room through adjoining door -- all night long. I should have called the front desk, but did not, so this is partly my fault. No coffee in the room. Mediocre restaurant.
The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Room capacity was really enough.
Firstly. The hotel Heiden by trees which make you drive around to find it. Secondly. The swimming pool is just in meddle of the restaurant or the hotel bar where you can't use it because of a lot of people are setting around the pool having them males What's more ,the hotel designed 100% like a motel
Exceptionally professional & slick service with a wink & a smile.
Having to say goodbye.
Location was amazing, the staff were really friendly and the bed was very comfortable!
My business partner and I stayed here overnight during a conference in Century City. Pros: Fantastic staff. Nicely appointed rooms. Good location. I would gladly stay at this location again.
Bathroom window was cracked ... minor detail but worth noting.
The hotel asked a deposit of 50$ per day plus the cost of the room.
Small boutique hotel , staff was great greeting you , pool area , especially at night with the fire features, is a very cool vibe , our room was large, but rooms need updating , location is very good
Old furnishing in room , everything is done very cheap
Great staff, very attentive and kind! We had told them we were coming on our babymoon, and waiting for us on the table in our room was a box of fancy chocolate along w a handwritten note wishing us congratulations & a pleasant stay! We had a beautiful large room with big balcony overlooking the pool/courtyard. Everything was very clean and nice, great time and would totally recommend it!!!
This is our favorite hotel in LA. The staff is super friendly and helpful with our baby. We love them!
The staff at the Avalon Beverly Hills are the best in the world - always polite and helpful. The Avalon is in a great district at the south edge of Beverly Hills, with quiet residential streets nearby (excellent for walks in the evening) and some terrific restaurants a short walk away (try Sotto on W Pico Blvd or Frida up on South Beverly Dr).
Elevator smelled bad!
No elevator rooms very average
Very helpful staff; stylish decor, not too big and impersonal. Good restaurant on site; very clean and good housekeeping.
No towel rails in bathroom to hang used towels- minor point. One bottle of water could be provided free of charge - 6 dollars a bit excessive for a small bottle left by bed.
The location is very good and the lobby and pool area very nice.
The entry to the back building should be smartened up - it is a poor contrast with the main lobby. Need 2 robes in rooms and in better condition!
