The air condition worked fine, but it was a wall unit so a bit noisy, but I was quickly able to tune it out. Not a problem.
The staff are wonderful -- so helpful and genuinely nice to their guests. The room was very clean and updated -- the colors are a bit dark, but everything was comfortable. There are cute touches of things to do -- rubics cube, innovative little games. There is a small frig, the free wifi worked well. The fitness center was small, but each time I used it, there was no one else there, so it was fine. The pool and spa areas are lovely. Breakfast was plentiful, a bit boring after four mornings, but the food was fine - better than a lot of hotels that give you toast and cereal. Although my room faced the El Camino Real, I did not hear any traffic noise when the window was shut. Overall, I thought the hotel was a great value for the area, which tends to be very pricey.
