This hotel is now my favorite in all of New Orleans. It has the wonderful character of a turn-of-the-century townhouse which was later converted into a hotel. The staff are very friendly and the rates are very good. Note: If you have a car, then you will have to park on residential streets in the neighborhood.

Staff was friendly. Hotel was clean and quiet. Beautiful old fashioned interior. Comfortable beds. Street car stops right at the front of the hotel. Spacious room. Parking on the street for free.

The breakfast was not great. No juice and coffee was gross.

It was our first time to New Orleans and the Historic Streetcar Inn was the perfect place for our one day stop. They made a point to make sure we knew how to check in since we got in late. The room had three beds and was located on the top floor similar to an attic space but had great views of the area.

The location of the hotel was great. 5 to 10 min away from Bourdon st by street car. There is only street parking, Which was very easy to find parking.

Sad to say the only bad part was the water pressure in the shower :(

Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay.

The parking was not good and I didn't like leaving my car on a side street.

Complimentary breakfast, yet simple. Nice architecture, ambiance and great staff. Good location in Garden District. Easy access to public transportation, cab service and great if on bike or scooter. Walks can be rather long, but pleasant.

Bathrooms could get some upgrades, they're dated. Door knobs are tricky, especially after coming back from a nigh out.

We get the room with balcony (they respected my request) it was awesome! Private balcony NO style on the street. Room clean - hot water - conditioning air - personnel is very kind! No parking problem it's free in this area!

    Nothing to me ...

It's a nice cozy place to stay. I especially liked having so many places to eat within walking distance. I also liked that we were right on the streetcar line.

The only real complaint is that there is no elevator. My girlfriend has a bad back n the only room available the first night was on the second floor. We really liked room 24 that we was in the first night but climbing the stairs was just too hard on her back so we had to move down stairs the last two nights.

the best breakfast we had during our 3-week-trip! beautifully decorated interior, comfortable location, the lack of parking is actually no problem - you can leave the car in the street nearby the hotel

    could be a bit cheaper

Very helpful, friendly and approachable staff. Great vibe in the place, comfortable rooms in these adjoining two storey houses. Great location opposite the St Charles Ave streetcar stop - $3 ticket for all day travel meant that we were away from the noise and hassles of the French Quarter, but only a few minutes ride away when we wanted to be there.

    The weather?

Mellisa was very helpful. We had a problem with the toilet seat which was immediately remedied. 2 block walk to the streetcar.

Parking was on the street but did not move the car so it wasn't an issue

The feel and character of this place was great!! It's a very charming little New Orleans Inn and the staff was pretty friendly and helpful. If you're expecting a 5 star hilton, this is not the place, but that's the whole point.

The building is starting to show a bit ore of it's age than it should. As charming as it is, there are repairs/updates that should be made. The cleaning person (note I said "person") was very nice and accommodating but was simply not able to clean the entire inn single handedly by herself. In turn we had to ask for clean towels and our room was not cleaned for the two days we spent there. They need more cleaning staff.

I loved the charm of this old home and for the price we paid for an overnight stay was excellent! Close to the trolley line. The free continental breakfast had a lot of choices. We stay again, much better than the pricey chain hotels if your looking for New Orleans charm

    The smallness of the Inn.

The drink machine was broken. The room wasn't cleaned very well.
