Small room, a bit loud
It was amazing. Good place, good price, good people. If I should come back to NYC I will stay there, of course!!!
I loved everything!
the location rude reception shoe box size room but all of these are minor issues when it came to how horrific the smell was in the elevator , the hallway and the rooms. It was beyond offensive.
Good location and the staff was super nice The building is not new but the room was decently maintained
All I liked was that the subway was right there
The hotel is perfect for a one night stand . No closet no dresser no walking space. They did a great job with the pictuers on line but was a real let down when I arived! The feeling I got was omg which homeless person slept hear before me who fooled around and is there bed bugs I was not comfortable with the feeling of being there!!
Good location in Chinatown/Little Italy....the bed was really comfy
It's was dirty and old...rooms very small. No closet, just a couple of pegs on the wall. The elevator smelt like a sewer!!
The staff is friendly. The location convenient to subway lines, Chinatown, and Tribeca. The room is comfortable with all essentials.
The street noise from passerbys make it hard to fall asleep at night. I would stay at Hotel Azure again, I would just bring earplugs.
staff were nice; location was close to restaurants; room was clean
Room was very small (and I'm used to staying in small rooms!)
I have read several other comments regarding the small rooms. Which I found not truly correct. Our room was of comfortable size, not big but perfectly ok. The staff (two men) were very helpful and accommodating. Location wise, perfect!! Restaurants within Walking distance, Close to subway etc. Looking forward to next stay!
Great location. 4 subway lines very close by. Friendly staff.
Small rooms at a busy street. The hotel is located in a corner of two busy street. If possible make sure your room doesnt face Canal Street.
I liked the help and information I got from reception. I liked the position of the hotel near little Italy.
Good location - in Mahattan, close to shopping & subways, great price, nice big comfortable king bed with cozy linens, great shower, quiet, helpful staff.
staff was awesome
room was the size of a closet
The location was very close to a subway station so trips around New York were easy to do. The neighborhood was interesting and offered a choice of restaurants.
I think there was some noise from the subway in the morning. There should be more towel racks in the bathroom.
We missede an arear where We could sit and talk near the reception.
Room smaller than expected - overpriced
noise from the subway- second floor room
Nice and clean
Location was good
Run down and tired. Unclean
- Clean and well located for getting around the city on the subway - Good if you want a low cost place to stay and want to shop on Broadway
- The internet was really slow and when asked if they could address it the staff literally said, 'yeah, we're having problems with that' then went to switch it on and off and gave up without doing anything else. Don't stay there if you need to use the internet. - Small room for the price
The location is perfect. A lot of restaurants around the hotel.
The underground and traffic made a lot of noice.
Though it looked trendy, the bathroom was extremely small. There was no shelf on which to set toiletries and no rod or hooks to hang a towel. The walk-in shower was approximately 3'x3' with an in-swinging door of the same width, which means you have to squeeze into the corner to close the door. The water temperature and pressure of the shower would fluctuate when other guest flushed toilets. The bedroom was extremely cramped. The desk was essentially a tapered shelf on the wall that was too shallow for a working surface. No desk lamps or bedside table lamps were furnished. The only source of light in the room was provided by two 6" sconce mounted at about 6' high on either side of the bed. In my room one of the sconces was out making the lighting very dismal. There was nothing pleasurable or inviting with the room or the hotel in general. For the most part it was a bed in a shoe box.
Unclean, over priced and very noisey
Got there and were told, oh sorry the room you booked and paid in advance for we do not have. And sorry we're fully booked so you will have to take what we can give you - which was awful. After an awful nights sleep (one of us had to sleep on a cot!) and we're in our late 50's. We got up and left (oh and no, they couldn't find us a different room in a different hotel) Customer service ZERO!
