Good location - in Mahattan, close to shopping & subways, great price, nice big comfortable king bed with cozy linens, great shower, quiet, helpful staff.
staff was awesome
room was the size of a closet
The location was very close to a subway station so trips around New York were easy to do. The neighborhood was interesting and offered a choice of restaurants.
I think there was some noise from the subway in the morning. There should be more towel racks in the bathroom.
We missede an arear where We could sit and talk near the reception.
Room smaller than expected - overpriced
noise from the subway- second floor room
Nice and clean
Location was good
Run down and tired. Unclean
- Clean and well located for getting around the city on the subway - Good if you want a low cost place to stay and want to shop on Broadway
- The internet was really slow and when asked if they could address it the staff literally said, 'yeah, we're having problems with that' then went to switch it on and off and gave up without doing anything else. Don't stay there if you need to use the internet. - Small room for the price
The location is perfect. A lot of restaurants around the hotel.
The underground and traffic made a lot of noice.
Though it looked trendy, the bathroom was extremely small. There was no shelf on which to set toiletries and no rod or hooks to hang a towel. The walk-in shower was approximately 3'x3' with an in-swinging door of the same width, which means you have to squeeze into the corner to close the door. The water temperature and pressure of the shower would fluctuate when other guest flushed toilets. The bedroom was extremely cramped. The desk was essentially a tapered shelf on the wall that was too shallow for a working surface. No desk lamps or bedside table lamps were furnished. The only source of light in the room was provided by two 6" sconce mounted at about 6' high on either side of the bed. In my room one of the sconces was out making the lighting very dismal. There was nothing pleasurable or inviting with the room or the hotel in general. For the most part it was a bed in a shoe box.
Unclean, over priced and very noisey
Got there and were told, oh sorry the room you booked and paid in advance for we do not have. And sorry we're fully booked so you will have to take what we can give you - which was awful. After an awful nights sleep (one of us had to sleep on a cot!) and we're in our late 50's. We got up and left (oh and no, they couldn't find us a different room in a different hotel) Customer service ZERO!
Good location. Helpful and nice staff.
Bathroom with fungus. Dirty skirting boards (they look like never washed). Dirty windows. The price does not reflect the conditions.
Very expensive for a very small rooms with no extra services and no amenities no lobby no extra services
Fantastic downtown location, very near subway, rooms small but clean and comfortable. Really friendly, helpful staff. Hotel itself was really quiet, didn't hear any other guests at all. New York is very noisy but not a lot the hotel can do about that! Highly recommended.
The hotel is very close to an accessible subway station (with lift to the street level, which comes in handy when you are carrying heavy luggage). The staff is very helpful and friendly. We arrived at about 09:30 and they gave us the room straight away. I asked for a minifridge and they brought it to my room the next day. The room was very comfortable and cozy, although a bit small.
Comfy bed and pillows
Bed sheets were ripped Could probably get better for same money
The room is fine for 1 person . I think it's too small for 2 people . Having said that the hotel is great , clean & I love the location
Location with 5 metro lines. Room change possible because first room was too small
Small rooms but ok price, loud air con, bugs in the shower
Very basic amenities Have to go to lobby for water
Rooms are very tiny, but it's all you can get for this money.
Small rooms Not very clean
The area is much nicer than we were told. It's noisy and not super clean, but the atmosphere is very nice and the food amazing and cheap. So if you want a cheap hotel in Manhattan, Chinatown is the place. But do yourself a favor and pick another hotel!
You can feel every single metro going under the building (every 5 minutes and at night too). The internet connection was terrible half of the time and non existent the other half. One of the staff member was pretty rude. The A/C is pretty bad.
Overall a good place to stay; for being on the less expensive end of the spectrum, the quality was good.
Very small. Very modern, but cramped. No where to store anything and when you open the shower door water goes everywhere.
Location is close to a subway station.
The woman in the reception is very unfriendly. Although the terms and conditions says not prepayments will be charged the hotel charged the 1st night 4 days before to our arrival. The room is very very small and dirty.
