Best Western Sovereign Hotel - Albany    

Convenient, friendly, good price.

I had 5 rooms booked and the staff was very accomodating in getting our rooms together. Breakfast was delicious.

I liked pretty much everything. The staff were professional and friendly. The room was clean and huge. The decorative bed pillow was a nice touch. It was great to be able to swim and work out. breakfast was good...great fruit salad.

Some things were dated and needed to be freshened up. I found a few hairs in the pool. The sign in the parking lot about parking at your own risk worried me.

Rougher neighborhood-not this time, but another visit my room was right next to the back door (at the time there was no security at the two back doors since someone had tampered w/the keycard slots. Hope they've fixed that because it's a hangout for drinkers in particular. I asked for a different room and the "front desk" was very accommodating. Also, the hallways are always kept very clean, but fuzzy and other things can accumulate in the rooms in the corners.

That the pool was not loaded with chlorine and the rooms were clean. but the sauna was not working.

The walls were horribly thin, I could literally hear people in both rooms on both sides of us. They were having a normal conversation and it sounded like they were in our room. Definatley No firewalls between our rooms.

The morning breakfast was good and surrounding was quiet and friendly. The shuttle bus was very helpful and it made trips to some parts of Albany easy. Location is very convenient and in the center of most of the attractions in Albany.

Bathroom was little unclean. Staff was not timely. We waited in line for about 10 minutes and none of the receptionists ensured us that they'll be with us in time. It is a good place to relax and continue for once trip but not great enough for pleasure. Stayed for two nights but did not receive any room service.

The breakfast was excellent. Front staff very accommodating for information. Would stay again.

Front desk staff was pleasant.

The first room I checked in had bugs on the mattress and an earring back in the sheets, which tells me they did not change the sheets. I was moved and the next room had trash behind the bureau. Also, the second room was suppose to be checked by a manager and the dust in the room was very noticeable. I wrote "clean me" in the dust on the headboard. They did give me a discount but I was so disgusted that I did not stay the 2nd night anyway.

service at the restaurant I want to eat about 8 pm we went down stairs but they never came to the table to offer any services the breakfast was ok but the lady that clean was having actitud with us for putting the garbage on the wrong garbage nothing was not saying to put it there.

Beds were comfy, rooms clean and the water pressure was phenomenal.

The restaurant service was horrible, they had one poor girl running the bar and being the waitress. I felt so bad for her.She did a great job considering.

The beds were very uncomfortable...one of our rooms had an old tube tv with a very small screen. When the bill came, each room was almost $100 more than I had cointracted on booking.com...when I brought it to the attention of the desk clwrk..he said 'not my problem. You didn't book with me..so go call booking.com" Worst attitude and customer service ever.

It was close to the conference I was attending. From reservations to check- out, everything was made easy for me. Everyone was professional and friendly. I had everything I needed. It was a great value.

Had to switch rooms because of a family that made a lot noise with crying baby and police showing up at their door.

Friendly staff, clean room, easy access from the highway, good breakfast

our son goes to The College of Saint Rose in Albany and its a great price and very clean to stay while we are visiting and close to the baseball field also
