Was very loud airconditioner, unhandy bathroom...
Quiet pleace. Close to the beach. Excellent staff. Fully appointed kitchen. Nice beach.
Large sitting room and Master bedroom. Option of using the kitchen. Nice interior decoy. The lemon water provided at reception was a life saver!!!!
Air Conditioning was terribly noisy; the windows vibrated because the system is so bad.In 2013 we had the same problem (don't accept room 207!) and they changed the room but this time they were fully booked. We complained but they never sent maintenance to check it. No ice making facilities. Some front desk staff not fluent in either English or Spanish
Clean rooms; location; some of the staff was very helpful. The use of the Ritz' s beach service was great. I have stayed at least 5 times and have enjoyed it but this time it was disappointing.
Chinese front desk clerk with zero training or logic skills. Charge for a resort fee to overlook the parking lot and a parking fee for an open lot.
The 2 bedroom condo we stayed in was large and furnished nicely.
My room was overlooking bridge with a heavy traffic; especially in the morning and in the afternoon. Nothing "romantic" about that view !!!. In the room itself there was even no free bottled water.
Small, informal hotel. Close proximity to Bal Harbor Shops.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Can't wait to go back!
We had couple of Coronas on the arrival and got charged for 6 beers, waters and other stuff we didn't have. So look like the housekeeping having beers party after work.
Reception staff are super nice and helpful. Especially Edison.
Having to check out! Recommended to my friends and look forward to visiting the Quarzo again.
The location was great in terms of easy access to roads and even to beachfront (no issue walking across street). While not beach-front, the Zen Garden's waterview provided a charming, relaxing environment. Room was comfortable and appreciate staff checking me in early since the room was available.
We arrived at 3 and were told check-in was from 4 (despite others were checking in), we came back at 4 and were told it still wasn't ready and it would be a further 40 mins, finally at 5pm we got into our room. It turned out to be the accessible room - not a problem but I would have like to have known) You have to pay extra for: - wifi (not sure how much but anything is too much in this day) - "Resort fee" of $10/day - Parking of $15/day (in their own half empty car park!) I had to ask for the Champagne check-in (compulsorily paid for with the "resort fee") The sheet and pillow were dirty. The shower rail was wobbly. The bedside lamp had a burnt lamp shade. The free internet in the reception was slow to the point of being unusable The shower didn't warm-up for my girlfriend who then had to go to reception to inform them. The shower also has no pressure control. The kitchen has no hob in the non-suite rooms. NB The score calculated of 4.2, is far to high and should be more like 2.
The bed was comfy
Paid $15 a day to park, but on first night there were no spaces available. Other guests were using recreational drugs on their balcony as my family walked past. Police were a constant presence on our first night in the parking lot and the walls are very thin to where you can hear ppl walking below and above you.
The modern feel was great and the room was very spacious.
the ocean vue
First off taking a $150 deposit is bad enough. But to make the mistake and take it again the second day! Now $300 is tied up and when I call the hotel they say sorry it will be available in ten days!!
The hotel was beautiful inside and out. Boutique but the rooms were far from that. Comp upgrade to a beautiful 2 bedroom suite that felt bigger than my home!
Price was way too high Some of the staff wasn't courteous We were 3 people and only two towels were provided despite our repeated requests View from the room was a parking lot and anyone could look in
Cleanliness The fact that we could access the ritz Carlton beach
Noisy during the night as neighbours returning to their room. Bathtub old and damaged, not the same standard as the rest of apt.
Nice big kitchen, unfortunately no tea bags only coffee
Excess charges on departure. (smoking fee) Smoked on balcony. No food offering.
Location Good. Away from the hustle and bustle.
There was a kitchen but without pans it is useless!
Quiet place, good space.
Staff needs better customer service training--desk personnel need to be better attuned to good service and helpfulness. Maintenance must be addressed--kitchen had broken dishwasher and faucet. Beds were not comfortable.
Good location and the larger rooms have a nice kitchenette.
I had a correspondence and numerous phone calls with Booking about issues with our unit. which was on the intercoastal/but that the hotel considers erroneously on the ocean. Though our reservation was made in September 1st, they wanted us to move to another unit for the last day, and made me pay an extra $150 to stay in the unit. Wifi is very spotty and AC can not be regulated.
The units are roomy and pleasant, but on the other hand most of them overlook parking lots.
The front desk PEOPLE
The location is vary private in quiet
In the kitchen the hardware was poor: no pots
The staff, the attentiom was great, you feel at home
They assigned my room to another guest. Whilst cooking dinner, another guest of the hotel came in my room. Thankfully they were cool and just as perplexed as I was. I was hoping for more of a consideration from the hotel but they did offer a bottle of wine for the inconvenience.
The 2 bedroom suite is just that... Sweet! A beautiful hotel. I would definately consider this place the next time I visit. The view of the canal is spectacular. So much lux!!
The hotel room doors need to be sound proof.
The hotel smells great. They utilize some type of fragrance throughout the building that works as great armor therapy, very unique feature. Don't leave without utilizing the lounge in the back. Couples it's a must.
WiFi fee and Kitchen staff should be available in every unit as an Oven... but that's just a merit critic...
The view, the services & Confort... Very good attendance of all receptionist
