The location as great
We paid $500 for two nights in the "family suite". This suite was right above the alley to a bar where there were loud drunk people screaming and smoking until 2 in the morning. We were told to call down if it was loud but the only phone right next to my young daughters bed was disconnected. We also paid $30 a night for a crib for our 5 month old that was dirty and squeaked every time she moved. I tried to get a hold of the manager after our stay to give our feedback but he never called me back after 4 attempts to reach him. This place was awful! Not recommended
Great customer service, there was an issue when we first arrived and they took care of it right away. Will definitely stay there again.
No mini fridge.
Loved the hotel. Our room was very roomy and nicely furnished, and the view was great. The bar downstairs was really nice and Heather, the bartender, was really nice.
The cost of parking valet was a bit steep, even though the attendants were very helpful.
It was close to balboa island and restaurants, bars and the pier.
The room was very warm the a/c did not work properly so therefore we had to open the window and hear all the people from the bar across the street until the bar closed. Not enough towels in the room and had to ask for an iron and ironing board. Was not worth the money I paid.
This is a perfect place to stay in Newport Beach. Right by the water, restaurants, stores, and the docks. Friendly staff.
It was a little loud, but that's because our room was was right by the street. If you are concerned about that, ask for a room further from the street. There are not a lot of places to hang towels, but other than that no complaints.
This was a chill environment that allowed you literally walk onto the beach. Great balcony seating right outside of the rooms.
Staff was very welcoming ...
Toilet in bathroom ran all night :( :( Room 233 ....
The staff was great.
People parting in the jacuzzie that were not guess.. Very loud!!!
walkable and bike able right out the door
No real comfortable seats in the room, small bed not as clean as I would like, ciggerte burn on duvet cover, blood stains on pillow case. Contenital breakfast on the weak side.
Beautiful setting and clean
Doors slam...need for door stoppers...too noisy
Only the location
The management was terrible no WIfI. They actually told me to go down to blocks to a restaurant. Then they over charged me for the room, and charged my credit card a extra $300 because they said the sheets were stained. It is a shame that such a nice property is so poorly run with no respect for their clients
Location was great. Clean. Fridge in room. Robes were a nice touch.
Having to pay for wifi. Parking was extra - $15 per day in municipal lot across the street, or $35 to valet.
Location was great, Italian food was great-
Very loud - planes, city workers, to loud- Newport beach charging us $58.00 for a parking thicket - parking sucks all the way round-
The room and the bed were excellent and so was the service.
Great location and ok room.
We had a suite and it was nice but definitely a little dated and our AC did not work. They tried to fix but no luck and therefore we were stuck with hot and muggy room... had to leave all windows open and everyone could see in and then with the windows open the bar next door was so loud we got no sleep. Even with windows open the heat was horrible. Front desk the next day was rude and did not care how horrible our stay was. Ive called mgmt again and still no response.
Location, location, location Staff was helpful.
Bar next to hotel was very loud until after 1:00 am.
Location was great
Simple amenities such as a hair dryer and ironing board were not in the room. Had to wait 30 mins for them to bring them up and they didn't even bring up the dryer. Everything else was outdated
Rooms were redone nicely. Staff was very courteous.
It's a nice place to run away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Staff all around was friendly and very accomodating. Location and design of the inn reminds me of the Mediterreanean. It is a nice quick walk to the beach!
Cleaning staff was noisy at 3PM.
Tower room was excellent. Bed was very comfortable. Location second to none.
Outside areas ignored. No flowers in several avaiable pots. Statues didnt have a consistent theme (pig???) Spa was usually dirty. No pool. Dirty or no cushions on most of the outside furniture. Lots of potential wasted here.
breakfast no internet cost room size room quality
Liked location, roof top jacuzzi and quality of the room
Poor choice of breakfast.Stayed here seberal timesand always same choice no variety.
All tile no carpet makes for lots of hall noise - difficult to sleep. Hot tub - not hot but wouldnt get in anyway as it was filthy
Awesome views, right on the beach!
Noisy refrigerator at night and light around the door frame made it difficult for sleeping.
I reserved the room with ocean view. When I got there they gave me a suite with one small window that you have to keep standing so you can see the ocean and the room looked very old and not worth more than $ 50.00 a night. I complained about it so they transferred me to another smaller room which looked cleaner but much smaller and I took it. I found out later that the room had no electrical plugs to plug my phone and the put a coffee maker in the room but no place to plug it in. The bed white sheet had two black spots, the flat TV installed on the wall on an angle and not level. It was too late to check out and go look for other hotel so we decided to stay that night. I cancelled my second night and made a reservation at the Marriott hotel for much cheaper and it was a beautiful suite with a nice bay view. Beside all that they charged me $ 50.00 for early checking out.
