Very convinient location. Staffs are cheerful. Very reasonable price. You hear noises in the room when people talks in the hallway. |

Great central location near Union Square and Chinatown. Although we asked for a room for three separate adults, we did not receive three separate beds as requested and hoped for. One of us had to sleep on the floor. |

Really ggod location The bed next to door means that you get all the noise from people come back home in the middle of the night. |

Not much other than old fashion charm. Offsite (1-1/2 blocks away) parking for additional fee was not mentioned prior to or at time of booking. Stayed in #501 next to elevator which was very noisy throughout the night. Ask to be moved if they put you in any ..01 room! Also was a foul odor in hall - thank goodness not in the room. |

the location is fantastic - right by the gate to the Chinatown, in the middle of shopping district, walking distance to everywhere. We really liked the decor of the hotel - fresh, stylish, simple and comfortable. noise from the generator |

The location was fantastic and the rooms were exceptionally clean. The room was thoroughly cleaned everyday. The decor in the foyer was out dated. |

demand for a room far far away from the elevator, otherwise you won't get much sleep - the staff was very understanding to our room change demand, however... |

the location was the best thing about the hotel, not far from the city centre. the staff friendly and helpful and the rooms were kept very clean my wake up call on my day of departure was 10 minutes later than it should have been. |

Unfortunately this was just a stop over stay for going on to New Zealand, but the hotel was perfect for my purposes! Excellent position for shopping and seeing the metropolitan side of San Francisco. Convenient too all sectors of the city. |

Very friendly staff, clean rooms, nice bathroom and excellent location- very central. The locks on the door were a bit difficult to work, however this is only a minor thing. |

The rooms were recently renovated and very clean. Location was superb, just 2 blocks from the trendy Market Street, right in the heart of Union Square and just outside the entrance to Chinatown. Highly recommended for the cost. |

It was quiet, with understated elegance; nice comfortable furniture (and bed), good sheets, amiable bathroom facilities. The staff appeared to be knowledgable,polite, helpful and quiet. (A Bonus).Also efficient. It was kind of a bummer not to be able to check in until 4 pm; I had just had a long journey and was tired. Maybe add a lounge? Also, I wish there had been a mini refrigerator in my room. |

The location was great and the neighborhood was lively and walking distance to Chinatown, North Beach, shopping and even the wharf area if you are vigorous. The staff was very helpful and the room was clean and comfortable We stayed in Room 401 and there was a bit of noise whenever the elevator was in service |

I enjoyed the location as it made it easy to walk to everything is SF. I did not like the shower - the tub was too high and I didnt care for how all the shower supplies had to left out of the shower. I also did not like the shower curtain. |

location near to shopping malls and chinatown we stayed at room # 201 which was just by the elevator. I suffered from noisy pounding all night and I think the internet costs too much. |

1. The location is great, just in the middle of downtown. 2. The staff was great. 1. The check-in time should be at noon instead of 4pm. 2. the room was really well cleaned, if wasn't for some hairs we found on the towells sometimes before we even use them. |

A beautiful, character building — with clean rooms and luxurious clawfoot bathtubs — located conveniently near both Chinatown and Union Square. For the price, it would be difficult to beat. Free wireless would have been nice. |

The hotel is situated in a safe area of the city right next to the entrance of china town. The staff were really nice and helpful. The room and ensuite were clean and tidy, and relatively spacious cosidering the price! Overall a very nice hotel for those that want somewhere they are happy to go back to but are on a budget. Would definitely recommend. There is no free internet access at the hotel it is available through a third party but requires credit card details and costs extra - I didn't bother with this so don't know how well it worked. |
