The room smelled like an ash tray. Evidently the vacuum was unable to reach the other side of the beds. Bed not comfortable.
Price, cleanliness, nice big bath towels, and close to restaurants
No one available to check out and give receipt.
The staff was friendly, funny, and accommodating. A great deal for the price. The room was clean, and quite colorful!
Sparsely appointed accommodation. Based upon the "Optional" waiver that I was presented with, but in my case not required to sign, it was clear to me that some unsavory types of commerce were taking place at this venue.
Musty smell in room, chair broken, dressing missing a drawer
Remodeled bathroom Good WiFi Comfortable Bed Clean Very friendly staff
Room smelled of cigarette smoke
Owner is very friendly and helpful. He even gave us a voucher for the Angus Steakhouse nearby. Great location for the scenic tour to Mt Rainier.
An older motel but very clean and very quiet. Good location in Yakima. Comfortable room. Great for a one or two night stay. As the guy at the desk said, we're not part of a big chain so we don't provide a lot of amenities. We just try to provide a clean, quiet place to stay. And they do!
Price, WiFi, comfort, town, fridge and microwave
Very comfortable, clean and cozy. Super quiet. Staff is congenial and witty. A pleasant place.
It was inexpensive and had a vacancy. Very basic motel room. Sheets and towels smelled clean. The bed was comfortable. It was just what we needed: a place to sleep while on a long road trip.
The walls were dirty.
Comfortable bed and bedding
The man was very nice and kind, the price was good' location easy to find and quite
There was no light neat bed so we had to get out of bed to shut light after reading
It was very clean, the bathroom decorations appeared new and the entire bathroom and shower appeared to be new tile. Linens were very good, like new. Bed was very comfortable and A/C worked adequately to keep the room comfy even when it was over 100 outside. Refer was small but kept by water and pop chilled. Staff was very friendly and helpful at check in. That was the last I saw of any staff. Subway sandwiches across the street + a very good Italian restaurant 1 block away. Proprietor offered to tell me the good places to dine but I am familiar with the town. Room price for the 3 nights was the same as one night at the convention hotel where I was attending meetings. Room was certainly adequate for my purposes but I would not bring wife there for vacation.
Surprise the room was about 10 ft. wide and about 20 ft. long. Perfect for one person; would have been crowded with two. Dress had no knobs and desk was missing drawer. Only chair was a folding chair which was fine except for the first day when I spent 6 hours working at the desk. Would have preferred a taller desk chair. There was no daily room cleaning which is fine with me as I make my own bed and hang my towel to dry each day. I was only there for 3 nights so linens were fine. Carpet needed a little vacuuming the 2nd day as my shoes accumulated debris while I was walking to convenience store two blocks away for coffee, snacks and sodas. They did have a soda machine and snack machine on the premises but I had no $1 bills so had to go to a store.
good clean and comfortable room for the money
Cheap, frig, microwave, satellite Tv.
Cigarette smell coming from outside thru door. Air condotioning could be better. Didnt clean or give more towels 2nd day of stay.
A very thin wall. A toilet paper was running out and was too late to request for refill as I checked in after buz hour.
the price, friendly staff, refrigerator and microwave in room
had to ask for another towel, only one in the room, no coffee in room or office, peeling paint on bathroom ceiling.
Comfortable, clean, great price, super strong wifi and room came with micro and fridge. Have stayed three times now and will stay again soon. Good home base for exploring Mount Rainier. It is an older place, a classic 60s style Motor Inn and has been redone with a little too much DIY but that just adds to the charm. Great value for the money.
It isn't a fancy hotel but that's not what you're paying for.
It was probably one of the most comfortable and restful experience that I had during my travels! Didn't feel like I was at a Motel but was at someone's guest house. The bed was really really comfy, one of the best that I have ever experienced (I was at Room 116), felt like Temperpedic Mattress!!! Absolutely wonderful to sleep in it! Room was although basic, still had a small Fridge, Microwave, Satellite TV (Direct TV), Desk, Dresser, Night-Stand, chairs,... everything that one needs to be comfortable during long trips! Room was simple but very tasteful! Same goes for the Restroom/Shower, user-friendly and tastefully simple but fully functional! All that one needs to be cozy! Very very clean, quiet, close to all shopping and dining and Wine Country! Parking is free and right next to your door! This is a single story rambler style motel, so you don't have to haul your stuff thru stairs or elevators to your room, your car is right there by your door! :) Front desk gentleman is friendly and very helpful. I will stay here again, every time I am in Yakima, if Room 116 is available that is even better, that mattress is amazing, I want one for my home! I should've checked the Brand under the sheets... felt like Tempurpedic Mattress... :D
Great base of operations for a visit to Mt. Rainier. It is always clean, comfortable, quiet and is a great value for the dollar. It is an old school motor inn that has been redone in a kind of DIY style (plus paint by number art!), but that just adds to the fun. Some rooms come with mini fridge and microwave and all have strong wifi and hundreds of TV stations. Look, it's not a high style, fashionable motel, but it delivers where it is important. Stayed there four times now and will come back again.
Nothing fancy but that's the only negative I can think of.
The neon sign lit up at night is the best part!
The host assured us the room was non-smoking and if anyone ever smoked in it, it would be taken out of inventory. Not true. It smelled like someone had just left after smoking a whole pack. Our eyes actually were burning! But it was pretty late and the room was already paid for. Bummer.
The owner is such a nice man. Really trying to make a change in that area by being very strict of who he rents to. Lots of movie channels. Busline was right out front. Easy access to anywhere inYakima.
Paper thin walls. My bed was so uncomfortable. Ants running all over my room. Door was not very secure.
Good customer service at front desk
Kind of outdated
